This is by far the best chinese I have ordered from in this area. Food came so quickly, it was well cooked. BBQ ribs are amazing and the fact you get rice or chips with your main in the price is great. Found my new regular :)

Salt and pepper chicken was so thin, crunchy and flavourless. Rice was dry and chips were warm ups. Crispy duck was peng though.

Aromatic duck great, ribs stuck to bone dried out and gristle, satay chicken skewers very strange taste for Chinese. chips good.

I left instructions for the delivery person to ring the bell and wait as I can't hear the door knocker from the back of the house and I have poor balance and so have to be careful and slower coming downstairs. I should have said "Give the bell a good strong manly push". He tapped on it gently several tims while I was upstairs working on the PC and ignoring the unknown number calling my mobile, which was him, because I thought I had at least 20 minutes to go. Businesses should issue employees with a company mobile, not encourage them to use their own for work calls as it constitutes a breach of privacy. The food was good as it always is (and thanks for the free prawn crackers btw) but don't order the japanese dishes apart from the gyozen unless you like your chicken udon with baby corn, water chestnuts, red and green pepers, snow peas and carrot, and with the same amount of wetness as chicken chow mein, In fact, it was chicken chow mein except with udon noodles. BUt the Dim Sum are very nice. They don't seem to give out fortune cookies anymore, which is a shame.

Spare ribs combo was sooo good! Really good tasting food. However the crispy shredded chilli beef lacked a bit in the crispy beef department, would have liked to see more meat for the price. Also the Chef Special Roast Duck and Pork was bit fatty and again for the price you expect it to be a bit leaner.

Delicious, as always. I recommend Hong So Chicken and the duck. So good.

Great food and really quick delivery.

First time trying it and it was very good, don’t think I will order the same dish again but that’s personal preference, absolutely nothing to do with the food itself.

Really disappointed with the chow mien. It was incredibly watery, and because of this lacked any flavour. It was like eating chicken noodle soup!

justeat website said 45 mins for delivery but once order placed it was updated to 1hour 15 mins, we would not have placed the order. vermicelli very disappointing. Delivery driver apologetic.

Chow mein was amazing!!! As was the prawn toast. First time but definitely will be going back. Plus we got free spring rolls :)

Really tasty curry, loved how you could really taste the coconut in it and the egg fried rice was so fluffy and not greasy at all. Will definitely order again 👌🏻

Great place to order Cantonese from. Probably the best around.

Very disappointed, although the salt and pepper chips were amazing as usual, the rest of the food wasn’t great. The prawn toast seemed reheated as did the ribs and duck, the cucumber with the pancakes was dry indicating it wasn’t fresh. Will continue to order from here as first issue we’ve had and usually delicious!

We ordered from here because it was picked as a local legend, it really wasn’t. The food was dry and felt really rushed, hardly any seasoning on the salt and pepper chips and wings. We got a pork rib mixed platter which was also just ok. The order was accepted and delivered in about 10 mins, maybe that’s why the food was sub par? Either way, I won’t be ordering from there again.

Disappointed with the ribs and main courses unfortunately so won’t order again

The food was lovely the only thing we would say is the salt and pepper dishes are small compared to other Chinese takeaways for the same price

we ordered all vegetarian food and we were rang to ask if we were aware that there was egg in some of the dishes - even though that was fine for us, we really really appreciated it. food also arrived early by 20 minutes and we found some free prawn crackers and spring rolls tucked away in our bags :) great portions, great food, thank you! will only be ordering from here in future

We were really disappointed with the bland and and oily food we received. It arrived half an hour late and they had forgotten to add flavour. The quality of the ingredients was poor and everything was swimming in oil. The fried rice was actually soggy.

The food was very poor bamboo shoots like wood everything else very soggy had to drown it in soya sauce for flavour don't waste your money or time

Awful all round experience. Order was half an hour late, with no courtesy call or apology (originally we were informed it would be 45-1hr, not 1hr 30).. Called up to chase order and the man on the end of the phone was very rude. Then the food arrived and it was terrible, inedible wouldn't be an exaggeration.

ordered Chinese because we felt like dumplings. have ordered from here in the past but this time the prawn dumplings were terrible. we couldn't eat it. they had an awful smell and taste so had to throw it away. Other dishes were ok, but one dish ruined the whole meal sadly.

Really fresh salt and pepper fish and squid, Ming Chef is always good but a bit special tonight, lovely portion of bean curd too, ahhhh lovely 😄

Nice food, especially the variety of vegetables in the veggie options. Will definitely try again. My friend was also very happy with his crispy shredded mixed meat option.

Food was tasty but crispy shredded beef was basically in a sweet & sour sauce with a bit of zing. Also did not appreciate being forced to pay by card with an extra fee charged for collection when I would have preferred to pay cash (don't know if this is restaurant specific or a just eat policy). Would order from again.

Its fine the food being 30 minutes earlier but when the meat in the rice is uncooked, the overcooked starter fell in the bag and it went straight in the bin, then, I would prefer it was 30 mins late.

Excellent customer service, not only from the delivery driver but also the people in the take out (they phoned me within minutes of ordering to discuss my order!) Fast delivery and food was the best I've tasted in a long time! Will 100% be ordering again.

Delivery time earlier than stated, polite and friendly driver, good quality tasty well presented hot food. I prefer my siu mei a little lighter but everyone's are different. I really enjoyed the meal and will definitely order again as this was first time.

Ordered vermicelli noodles and what arrived was bit fat flat horrible soggy noodles. How can a Chinese restaurant get that wrong?! Awful. MINGING chef should be their name. Wouldn't order again.

BBQ ribs were really nice. Salt and pepper wings were ok. The chef forgot to add the salt and msg to my black bean dish, so was a little sweet from only having dark soya sauce and oyster sauce, but the meats were good and the peppers were still crunchy. Overall, not bad, would order again, as black bean dish is likely a minor oversight owing to the me ordering at the busiest time of the week (Saturday, 7:30pm).

Didn't bring the entire order and when it arrived it was pretty average!
