I've been a customer at this takeaway for over 20 years and I've never had a bad meal yet, ingredients always taste fresh. There's a very good reason why this takeaway manages without deliveries and that's because it's so good

Black bean n pepper was nice, my pal didn't like the chicken balls or sweet n sour Not as good as few years back, well proced tho

Food was so sweet we could not eat it.

Cold food, sweet and sour pork was chewy and tasteless, chips like they had been warmed up. Was recommended but not impressed, won’t use again.

First time ordering from here, food was amazing would definitely order again.

I placed an order today the order was ready on time 👍 However the staff were very offhand. I actually paid more than l should have buy a small amount. When l got home my meal was very dry and lacked a lot off content. I ordered a special egg fu yung . Chips and curry sauce. Chips were cold and dry curry sauce was lumpy. Not good l only live 5 mins away… l will not be back ? This is the second time in a month.

Can't complain about the food, apart from the time my wife got veggie cashew nuts with no cashew nuts in it. Food usually on time, I like the 90s vibe of no website, no deliveries, & cash only. Only grouse I have is that the counter staff are so rude and blunt. One of them looks like she adds the sour to the sweet!

Ordered food normally I would have no compliants however the x3 packets of chips were absolutely disgusting, cold, warmed up and had a change taste I called to be told to bring them back I am hardly going to go back across town for x3 replacement chips the rest of the food was fine but we had three meals without chips

Excellent food, the Singapore Stir Fried Chow Mien was deliciously hot, however it was a busy time and due to enforced "maximum 2 person in shop at anytime" rule, and had to stand outside in bitter cold, gale force winds for an extra 25mins over the suggested "ready in 20mins" told after phoning in my order. 6-7 others waiting outside also, some refusing to use this shop again, especially when increased bad weather arrives.

The very best in the town.. its as simple as that ..

The order was ready for pick up dead on time, the House special Chow mein & mushrooms in gravy were delicious, the only criticism was that the chips were bitty. We will definitely be back soon 😊

Got house special curries tonight and found them tasteless. The curry was bland and disappointing. Is there a different chef because the curry is usually really good.

Food was mushed together, as if it was microwaved. The noodles were inedible - tasted damp and off. Worst Chinese food I’ve had.

Never heard if this place till I got with my partner. Now I would go nowhere else for a chowmein. Its always hot,tasty and well priced. Love it .

It's taken me 8 months since I moved here and about 20 Facebook requests for the best Chinese in Darlington. But today we tried this one and it was 100% the best I've had round here. Highly recommend. Massive portions, delicious recipes, I wasn't expecting it for a little hidden away Chinese shop.

Been here a few times and food has always been lovely but after eating tonight’s food has showed that there has been a change of chef and overall the food was average, asked for extra hot special chowmein, curry sauce & chips. Chowmein was not spicy, they added a few green chillies to make it look like they made it extra hot, chips was missing in the order, effortless apology from the staff. Every time I go in to the takeaway I always feel a negative energy coming from the staff as they couldn’t care less who walks in, they are constantly grumpy!!
