Mina Steakhouse in Cambridge

First time trying this place after reading the google reviews. It didn't disappoint! The food and service were brilliant. The staff are very friendly and always checking-in to make sure all is okay. The atmosphere was nice. They played some cracking 80s RnB tracks which was fantastic. Happy days :-) Food was excellent and the steaks cooked to perfection. The dry ice theatre that accompanied the Tomahawk steak and the Tiramisu dessert was unexpected and a surprise. Tomahawk steak arrived secured to a metal skewer along with chips, salad and all of the sauces. Rib Eye steak was delicious and the Mint Tea afterwards was a nice ending to a meal. Place is fully halal which is perfect. Would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Cambridge. It's approx 6 mins walk to Cambridge Central Train Station so very near the IBIS hotel if you were staying there.

Amazing food, nice shisha and great service!

I am an all time customer and each time I’m here the staff is always very kind and on top with their service, especially Dicle and Thranika, I would 100% recommend this place to anyone from kids to adults for any occasion.

Absolutely 5 star service, had a lovely time, great atmosphere, food was so good. Had shisha too. Veronica and Dicle are so sweet, nothing was too much trouble for them. We were treated like royalty 😍 we’ve been to Mina many times and it’s always such a great experience and why we keep coming back. The Director JAY is so friendly, accommodating and makes everyone feel welcome. We really enjoyed our evening, planning to have my husband’s birthday bash there 🔥🔥🔥🔥

Excellent service and food here at Mina house! Came here for iftaar and was supplied with fruits and dates, they even turned off the music for iftaar so we can pray. I ordered a t bone which was cooked with perfection. The staff were so friendly and made the experience even better. Special shout out to Tharanika who went the extra mile <3

Additionally, the restaurant felt overcrowded, with too many tables crammed into a small space, making it uncomfortable. On a positive note, the service, atmosphere, and music were great, but unfortunately, due to the quality of food and lack of space, we wouldn’t return.

First time coming here. Absolutely amazing. The food was incredible. We had the beef tacos and dynamite prawns for starters, so tasty and full of flavour! We had fillet steak and classic burger for mains. Generally the best steak and burger we ever had. The steak was cooked to perfection! The Matilda cake was massive! Really amazing food well worth the price. Definitely will be returning.

The service was lovely, they really catered to us really well. I had my little one with me, and they showed great support in ensuring we were okay with her. The food was lovely, as was the atmosphere! It is a little expensive but it really Did reflect the quality of food!

I often travel to Cambridge for work. This is the worst restaurant I’ve been so far. The meat was way overcooked, the sauce was terrible. I felt like everything was overpriced. The dessert was nauseating. They don’t serve alcohol (no wine, beers, nothing). Cherry on top, I was informed that POS terminal was not working. As I didn’t have any cash, I was asked to go to the nearest ATM and retire money or make a bank transfer. As I was reluctant (I had to pay with my company credit card and I could not retire money) magically another POS terminal appeared and they let me pay with card. If you’re lookin for a great steak, go somewhere else.

Had such an amazing time at Mina last Friday. I messed up my booking (booked for the following week) but Jay, the owner, sorted it immediately & ensured I wouldn’t get charged for not showing up. We were then sat down immediately at a great table with a birthday sign ready (I had only indicated the occasion during booking). The food was great, signature cocktail was lush, the customer service was A1 and my brother had a great birthday meal. Dicle was so lovely and friendly too, along with the other staff - everyone was great, really! I’ve been recommending to other family members. Will come again.

Had an awesome time at Mina Steakhouse! Tharanika and Ana took great care of us, and the food was top-notch. If you go, you have to try the seafood boil—it comes loaded with lobster tails, prawns, mussels, crayfish, scallops, and sweetcorn, all perfectly seasoned. So good! The vibes were great, and the service made it even better. Definitely worth a visit!

Amazing staff and food! Went for my birthday dinner with my sister, though we mistakenly booked the wrong date, they assisted us. Staff were friendly, food was great, vibe was good and choice of music was stunning. A good establishment that doesn’t just focus on food but the whole experience of dinning. Would highly recommend. Jay and Dicle were amazing, just didn’t get the names of the other staff members but they were great too.

We went there 04/03/25, the food was amazing, worth the price and very very tasty. The waitress Dij was really helpful, nice and polite. We had a lovely evening, highly recommend it.

Found this place on TikTok and decided to take my friend here for her 30th birthday. Food was amazing, very well presented, nice atmosphere and nice staff. Loved being able to bring own alcohol in and not something I’ve done before so the concept is brill. Only thing I would say is if you’re going to offer water you should specify if the customer wants bottled or tap. Would definitely be back if I’m ever in Cambridge again! Thank you!

Came here for my birthday with my wife. Really enjoyed the experience. The staff put a lot of effort into making it a memorable day, special thanks to Dij, Megan and Raghav. The only not so positive was that there was no matilda cake available. Other than that we had a great time

I went with my wife and on arrival we were warmly greeted and asked if we wanted water. Not having been here before we said yes not realising we were being asked if we wanted bottled water. £5 for a bottle of water. It did not start well. We ordered our steak and the mea was excellent and well cooked, however I felt that it was generally a bit tastleness. I am not one to use much seasoning, but I felt that the steak and the pepper sauce lacked seasoning. I had to load up the pepper in the sauce as it did not have much pepper inside. The chips portion that came with my ribeeye was small considering the size of the steak so required another portion. The prices are misleading on the menu as they dont say the weights. So you don't actually know the size of the steaks. Also there was a service charge added but again not on the menu so its a suprise when it comes on the bill.

I would encourage you to stay away at all costs. Quality of a food was extremely poor and disappointing. It was meant to be a celebration for my friend, however the waiters dropped food and drink on him. If you pay £20 for a burger, I expect good quality fo beef and ingredients not frozen beef patties with the texture of a rubber duck. Simply inedible! Furthermore the mac and cheese was froze defrosted and heated. It was swimming in a thick base of oil. The steak was awful and the portion sizes made us question if they were children's meals. I speak for a lot of customers who also complained this evening about to quality of food and the gentleman besides us who labelled the steak as the worst hes ever had! When discussing with the manager, she refuted and dismissed our concerns showing inadequate customer service. Stay away at all costs and spend your hard earned money somewhere you'll actually enjoy.

Food was amazing but what topped it the most was the staff. Made us feel so comfortable with their kindness. Highly recommend this spot will definitely come back in the future!

Shocking. Service was terrible, starters came wrong, order took over 40 minutes for drinks alone, left before main course came, no apology from staff, other tables in same boat and everyone complaining. Will never return.

This place is so overrated. The food has no flavour and the waitress spilt bubblegum syrup on my jacket. Avoid this place at all cost, don’t believe the hype.

Celebrated our 10 year wedding anniversary together at Mina Steakhouse. It was our first time and it was brilliant. The food was delicious, the service was superb and we thoroughly enjoyed our date. The little extras which is part of their service makes the meal that extra bit special and memorable. We both left very happy and will definitely return again. Thank you for celebrating with us at the end of our meal. The cheesecake was otherworldly!

Highlight of our trip to Cambridge. Superb service from all the team throughout, under Veronica’s attentive eyes. Food was outstanding - classic burgers and lamb shanks. And the chocolate baklava , served with smoky special effects was really different. Extensive mocktails to choose from . Bring your own bottle with no corkage charge if you want alcohol, or pop over the road to the supermarket if desperate. Oh and don’t forget to let them know if you’re celebrating a special occasion. Booking advisable to ensure you get the award winning Mina experience Bingo.

We were given a very warm welcome by Tharanika. To start, we had Slow-cooked Angus beef briskets placed on soft shell tacos with a mix of salad, arugula, and special sauces and Southern fried chicken strips, served with a blue cheese sauce and celery sticks. For our mains, we both had Brazilian fillet topped with Mina chimichurri, with steak chips, and a peppercorn sauce and mushroom sauce. For desert, we had 24k gold-plated baklava. As it was my husband's 65th birthday as a very lovely touch, the baklava was placed in a chest with a fountain candle. All the food was delicious and the steaks were tender and cooked perfectly.  Thank you, Tharanika, and everyone working there for making my husband's birthday enjoyable and memorable.
