Mimmo's in Bradford

We visited Mimmo's for the first time today, for lunch. Served with there first class Pizza's. We'll definitely be returning.

What a place ! Breakfasts , pizzas , calzones , amazing staff , amazing food reasonably priced , can’t go wrong £7.50 for the full English with a tea or coffee

We call here every Saturday morning inbetween Jobs. I can honestly say this is the best breakfast we have had. We have now been a regular here for just over a year. They are very accommodating the food is fabulous. We have also had pizza and Lasagna too and I can’t fault them at all. Lovely family run business nothing is too much trouble for them

We were looking for somewhere to lunch on New Years Day and came across Mimmo's on trip advisor, so thought we'd give it a try. We ordered lasagne, and when the fries and garlic bread we weren't expecting such a fabulous lasagne...so much food, great value and it was lovely!! Genuine Italian food and a friendly welcome which also means a lot. Good coffee, great vibes and fed my husband and me for the day!!! The take away service was really busy and popular, so that speaks volumes too... thank you... we will be back

My partner and I had lunch. The pizza was authentically Italian and cooked to order. The coffee afterwards was the best espresso I've had in years - the only coffee I've had that's comparable was in continental Europe. The staff are the friendliest people and if you're in Baildon you have to pay this place a visit.

We’ve been to Mimmo’s so many times and every time the food is gorgeous and fresh, the staff are super friendly and it’s just all around amazing! We sat outside with puppy and they were really accommodating and helpful. Couldn’t recommend more!

We decided to avoid the city centre and head slightly out of our way and were very pleased we did. The atmosphere was really friendly and we were made very welcome.We would certainly go back and our eldest son has requested a second visit already. Pizza was very good.

We got a takeaway lasagne and it was absolutely lovely! They were very friendly and even included garlic bread for us and left clear cooking instructions for the lasagne. It was honestly one of the best lasagnes I've had and couldn't recommend Mimmo's enough for this. We have just recently moved in the area and are very happy to have such a lovely places near us.

We always come to Mimmos for our hangover sandwiches and they never disappoint. Every breakfast sandwich is spot on and the service they provide is brilliant. The food isn’t greasy or covered in oil - just perfect. Highly recommend!

My husband and I have visited mimos several times, for breakfast, my husband also uses the take out service, as he works close by. We like to visit on days off for a breakfast, we have taken the kids and they have enjoyed the pasta. Looking forward to trying the pizzas! Excellent food, freshly cooked to order. Lovely family run cafe, I would definitely recommend a visit.

Just had a quick look thru the reviews, the last one had me in stitches, Mr Hand must have gone to a different Mimmo's, doesn't sound at all like the one I go to!!The food is superb, the pizzas are tasty and freshly made, a slice of pizza is a half here, so two slices is a whole one! All the food is brilliant, never had anything I haven't liked and have been going there for around three years. The loveliest family run it, they are all helpful, friendly and certainly wouldn't make a big thing about unblocking a toilet or leave the toilet door open, it is always closed, but I guess you always get some awkward customers. The rest of the reviews tell it how it is!!! Best cafe around.

Called in today, only wanting a coffee and a couple of slices of pizza and was talked into a full one, even though I knew I couldn't eat a full one. Got my coffee, which was good, then the owner started to tell some patrons that were leaving, that the toilet was blocked. At this point the patrons started to advise how to unblock it (right behind me), at this the door was opened and which was pretty tasteless.

Came here last week for breakfast, greeted by lovely warm staff! Very nice clean restaurant, Had a huge delicious full breakfast and tea and toast all for £5 highly recommend

We come here regularly, the food is always superb whatever you have to eat, coffee is really good, and the owners are wonderful, always happy, friendly and very helpful. Massive plate of cooked brekky, lashings of all my favourite items. Very friendly staff and a nice clean place to enjoy and eat. Not the largest cafe but food is good and well priced

Arrived at café a little apprehensive on approach as Café was small and not what we were use to but on entering the café we received a warm friendly Italian greeting. Our breakfast was hot and delicious £5 plus 50p for a latte or cappuccino. Excellent value.

Literally the best breakfast I have had in ages, years even. The price, just £5.50 with cappuccino is wonderful value and almost beyond belief. Not to mention the vast array of San Pellegrino in the fridge. Looking forward to trying the rest of the menu.

All the food here is wonderful, from bacon butties to pasta to the delicious homemade pizzas. Coffee is the best. The family are so lovely, caring, happy and helpful. You cannot go anywhere better, a total amazing experience from food to family.

I come here offen with my daughter and grandson. A family run business which offer lots of affordable itailian meals and the traditional English breakfast which at £4.80 with toast and a tea or coffee is well worth the visit. I've just had the lasagna and it was amazing. If you just want a light snack a meal or just a coffee(gingerbread latte yummy)it's well worth a visit.

The breakfast is to die for, Pasta, Pizza, Calzoni, chef made soup and fresh bread beautiful, always excellent polite friendly service, everything home made in house, generous portions definitely worth a visit.

Call for a sandwich before work and the owners are fast and friendly,The Sandwiches are full and a generous portion of filling . Will definitely use again .

Always come on a Sunday and get quite a specific jam packed sandwich! We always order ahead and go collect! The sandwiches are well filled and piping hot and they’ve never got an order wrong! Myself and my wife have been coming here for over a year now and have never been less than thrilled at the quality of the food and drink. The pizzas are the best I have ever had, the paninis are super tasty too, all for a very reasonable price.

Family run cafe with very friendly staff and amazing quality food. Lived in Italy for 1 years always loved pizza and this really is the best outside Italy. The place is always busy, people who love good food and a happy friendly atmosphere always return, just like us. You can ask anything to be cooked how you really like it. coffee is wonderful. Had breakfast with friends the other day, I am the pickiest of eaters, but not had any reason to complain except to wind Loretta up, (sorry) it's the first place I think of nowadays to have breakfast or lunch, we moved further away a few weeks ago, but it's more than worth the extra time to travel for what has always been good food.

We have been coming here for a few years now, and it's like good wine, it gets better with age. The food is superb and the family who run it simply are wonderful!! Nothing is to much problem and menus can be adapted to suit you diet requirement. We have never had an even slightly off meal, all are wonderful, and we hope they will continue to keep cooking for many years.

Fabulous family run little cafe, great for lunching with friends, or if you prefer a larger lunch there’s pastas or pizzas. Nothing too much trouble, if they have the ingredients they’ll rustle it up for you. Oh and don’t forget the milkshakes, so many flavours, will just have to return and work our way through the menu. Personal favourite chicken, pesto, mozzarella panini mmmmmm (Mimmo’s )

Had an amazing lunch again today in this friendly welcoming cafe, Food was as good as my Italian mamas, we had the pizza , base to die for , lots of cheese , pepperoni, chillies and olives even added extras at no added charge, piping hot . A carbonara that was delicious, even did a vegetarian version for my friend .Homemade bread rolls still warm , if you like English they did my friend a beautiful panini , great choices too , chips even tasted better than most we’ve had , the lady who made my cappuccinos obviously knows her stuff ( better than any Costa’s I’ve visited , frothy just as requested. I will be cisiribg regularly , only negative isagoukd be bigger as we had to wait 10 mins but was fine will book in future

Not impressed. Very strong smell of fried food which clung to our clothes all day. Tomato soup clearly out of a tin with extra cherry tomatoes and a swirl of cream designed to make it look home made. Also took 30 mins to arrive. Accompanying bread was bog standard sliced out of a packet, expected better. This is really a workers cafe not somewhere to go for lunch. Must dispute the quality of the coffee too, although it was good have had a lot better in Bradford. Staff friendly but overall experience not good. Sorry for the poor review but given the reviews was looking forward to the lunch and really disappointed.

Very cold and wet outside , so inviting to call in to mimmos nice and warm very friendly really good quality food served hot and quick and efficient service . My grandson also enjoyed a massive spam sandwich . I have to agree it is the best by miles in the Bradford/Shipley area

We always order sandwiches from Mimmo's when we are working on Saturday's at our Housing Association. The food and service is simply first class. HIGHLY recommended

Called into Mimmo's for a change of venue. We both ordered a ham and mushroom omelette it was delicious, piping hot, not oily and a delicious coffee. Staff are very friendly. I noticed that they do authentic pizzas too, will definitely go back to try one. Lovely, thanks.

I was introduced to Mimmo’s by my daughter-in-law first sampling their full English breakfast. I’ve returned several times for a repeat breakfast but today ate later and opted for their delicious homemade Lasagne. Absolutely stunning flavours! Staff marvelous and very friendly too

This wonderful little cafe is run by a wonderful Italian family, the coffee is superb, as are the milkshakes! The food is second to none, pasta, pizzas etc are superb and the sandwiches are simply the best. All made even better by the lovely family who look after you. We'll worth a visit.

We are lucky enough to pass this lovely little cafe everyday as work near to it and visit it often. The breakfasts are amazing as are the lunches. At lunchtime there is some Italian favourites like pizza or traditional English if that is more your thing. The staff are really friendly and the portions are huge. Good value too. Recently they have started doing evenings occasionally which I am sure will be huge success too.

Came here today for first time, picked what we wanted on our breakfast, was the best breakfast ive had, staff are lovely and for two coffees, can of coke and two breakfasts, £9.00! Can't beat that for quality and value, defo recommend and will defo be going back.

Called in whilst Car in garage bn before last summer , ordered cup of tea and bacon & mush on brown , the lady brought my tea over shortly afterwards my bacon butty sandwich was as nice as you can get tasted like outdoor reared bacon and lovely fresh mushrooms on a fresh brown tea cake really nice has to be best in Bradford lovely clean and tidy shop great service and quality food

On behalf of my 87 year old father in law he’s asked me to write a review. I called in for a bacon and sausage sandwich to take away and a bun to finish off with. The young lady behind the counter was very helpful and smiling and very pleasant. I must say it was the tastiest sandwich I’ve had for a long time. It was just perfect. The bun was very nice as well and I will be calling in again.

We came here for breakfast on the way to a wedding. Breakfast was excellent, very large plate of food so you have to be hungry, excellent value.

Would definitely recommend Mimmo's. Been a few times now with my sons (who are fussy eaters but LOVE Mimmo's). Ive been going to mimmos since it first opened and all i can say is wow!!!!! The food just seems to get better. What a lovely family so welcoming and accommodating. Restaurant food at amazing cafe prices. I refuse to eat Italian food elsewhere. Never disappointed. Portion size is huge make sure your ready to walk out two sizes bigger

This is a must visit Cafe. The food is excellent the service is exceptional and the staff are warm and friendly.

Dropped in for breakfast and couldn't believe the value for money. The waitress and the cook were really friendly and engaging. The big English breakfast was huge and only £4.80. Incredible value for what you got. It's no wonder it's such a popular Cafe. Highly recommend dropping in here.

We popped in here for a quick bite to eat at lunchtime and had a bacon and a sausage butty with cuppas. We sat outside as it was a lovely sunny day. There's plenty to choose from on the menu from sandwiches, baguettes, paninis, pizzas and pasta. Such lovely friendly people and very cheap too. Will be going back here for definite. Thank you.

Called in this afternoon after searching for somewhere new to try, we walked in to be greeted by a lovely women and a busy yet excitable atmosphere, people searching the menu selecting their lunch and then commenting on how they were trying to work through the menu as they didn't want to miss out any of the meals, the food came in a generous well presented portion and came promptly as did the new flavour of milkshake we'd accidentally invented beautiful by the way ! Try one, and the family was just lovely there's a picture of them all above the counter looking very happy together and this is depicted in how they worked together, a happy welcoming family, a singing smiling chef can be seen cooking whilst the two lovely ladies engage you in conversation take orders and serve you your food, meanwhile customers enjoyed their meals and planned their next visit, the food envy I had from secretly looking at other people's selections was the only thing I didn't like about my visit I want to try everything and am not surprised people are working through the menu, I can't wait to back, you will not be disappointed treat yourself and go see,

Called most days after radiotherapy and food was freshly cooked and very nice with nice and pleasing service. My wife and I loved it. I call down most weekends for a breakfast sandwich.

Called for a drink and ham salad sandwich after having my hair cut over the rd . Really good quality fresh food and great service from the young lady serving us she was very chatty and gave us some information regarding tour de Yorkshire next week . We sat outside to eat our sandwiches quite a sun trap would really recommend this shop to try in particular the tour e Yorkshire next week to get your snacks and refreshments we will certainly go back again

We have been meaning to visit Mimmos for a while. We took our daughter and grandson today for lunch. Everything was cooked fresh and tasted lovely. Only small so couldn't take all our family together. So glad we went and will certainly not be the last. My daughter and I had the ham and mushroom pizza. My grandson had an enormous meat feast calzone and my husband had the full English breakfast. He is quite an expert on these and rates it at top of his list. The bill came to less than £30 in total. What's not to like !!! On top of this I couldn't manage all the pizza and have probably brought a third home.

I went to Mimmo's attracted by the Arancini, and for me being a Sicilian guy that lives in the UK is not easy to find the arancini, so a friend advised me to go and try. Giovanni the chef is Sicilian too and he makes the best arancini that you can find in the UK.

Delicious food, friendly staff, great location....I recommend it to anyone who wants a good home made meal at a reasonable price

A friend at work pointed me in the direction of Mimmos. Where I live is lacking in quality Italian food so I called in on Friday lunchtime. A clean well presented cafe. On the menu breakfasts and breakfast sandwiches. I noted the prices were fair. A good selection of sandwiches including ciabatta sandwiches. A selection of pizzas were on offer and a selection of pasta dishes. I had a lovely ciabatta with salad and took home for the evening a pizza for the family. Both the ciabatta and the pizza was outstanding in quality and value. Next time I will have to try the pasta or my favourite the calzone.

I called yesterday for lunch with my friend. We were very warmly welcomed and we were soon seated. We had homemade Peperoni pizza and coffee,Freda then followed it up with raspberry ice cream milkshake.Food was excellent all freshly prepared and scrumptious.
