Mimis Plaice in Shropshire

Pathetic service, food turned up cold and inedible, when I contacted the online bot I was told to supply the food back to them for a refund. Simply appalling service

Chippy is good but the website needs updating,spent an hour calling the chippy ,it was closed but the Web site says its open Most frustrating

Could not believe how rude the owner was to his staff, he threw a can of pop angrily out of the shop door, regardless of anyone walking past & the parked cars. Disgusting & to top it all the fish & chips were appalling, won’t go there again!

Ordered mini fish and chips, really awful. The fish was overcooked and soggy, the chips had been sat too long. The dog ate most of the fish and the chips went in the bin! I won’t be going there again. The young girl who served me was pleasant enough but observing them while waiting for my food I noticed there is one who appears to have an attitude problem.

Staff always look so moody & some are very very rude! They have a £15 minimum food spend for delivery which is absolutely crap!

On Friday on a whim we decided to give mimis a try we ordered two cod chips and curry sauce, we were served promptly the fish was perfection really large clearly fresh and covered in light fluffy batter The chips were nice and the curry sauce was very nice, we were pleasantly surprised by the High Standard of food on offer

AVOID staff are rude when they got order wrong refused to correct zero customer service, used to be decent but after several bad experiences I will not be using again

My first visit to Mimis for Fish & Chips. Sadly I will not return. I had haddock which was more batter than fish. The fish was also broken in order to fit it into the box. But the broken off bit was just burnt batter. Although I had to wait while the fish was fried, the batter was burnt as though it had been cooked in very old oil. Chips were ok but had been cooked a while ago and kept warm. Not a pleasant visit and as I said I will not be returning for any more. A little competition would not go amiss here.
