Atmosphere was great because of Ray!

All round great place, servers were all so polite and helpful. £15 for four people meal deal is an amazing way to take the kids out to eat in half term. 5 stars all round it was fabulous

Came in on a busy Sunday service, the place was full and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves, I was quickly seated and served, the waiting staff were friendly & attentive but not to in your face. The food was superb, came out steaming hot and was cooked just how i ordered it, I’ll be back for sure, huge thank you to the chef Carl who made my food top, top notch!

Busy Sunday afternoon with great service from all Foh and Boh staff. Sports televised with great atmosphere in the pub. Big menu with lots to choose from which was very exciting. Food served hot and quickly with no issues will definitely be back again very soon. May I just add that quadzilla burger was unreal the size, taste and portion sizes very good. Very appealing on the eye.

Spectacularly friendly and efficient service from all staff, especially Russ. Nothing is too much trouble for them. They genuinely provide excellent customer service. Very friendly, but not over the top. Good food and well priced. We love going there regularly. Highly recommended! :)

Ray was really lovely and helpful. We were able to bring our dog and ordered a sausage for her which they chopped up and put in a little bowl! Gem the manager was chatty and lovely too. Food was great value and tasted great. Big thumbs up 👍🏻

Last couple of times we've been here, ended up leaving before ordering. 1 staff on a Friday night covering food orders and the bar. Times before these, have so much of the selections out of stock and no alternative offered. Disappointing how it's gone downhill over the last few months

Was passing by and thought we would try out a pub we haven’t been to in many years, was pleasantly surprised. We were served by a lovely guy named Matt, very happy to help and had a lovely charm about him, great to chat to. Only went in for one yet ended up staying hours.

We went there Saturday night there was 8 of us . I had booked a table we were sat near big doors and the outside door it was as cold in the pub as outside. We sat in our coats all evening my 90 year old mum was freezing I asked if we could move and was told no that’s the only area they do big tables. My mum has been poorly ever since. Our food was cold. My mums scampi wasn’t cooked enough it squelched when she ate it so she left it. I had steak it was fatty and tough and stringy so I left it. The man who served us was very nice and friendly. When we got there the table wasn’t laid or clean and the other table we needed was full of dirty crocks and dirty. Mum has felt sick ever since. And my husbands Gammon was tough and fatty we won’t be back it was our first time and our last. Shame as it’s near where my daughter lives. Also we tried to shut the curtains over the doors they were for show there was just a small amount of curtain each end so couldn’t block the cold out. Also my husband from yesterday has a really bad cold. Nothing was done about us sitting in the cold or our food. To the owner I tried to email you and your email wouldn’t except mine.

It's what it is! A quality menu for the price! I ordered the Sunday lunch! Roast beef, Yorkshire Pudding, roast potatoes, mixed vegetables, and gravy! I didn't have the mashed potatoes as I thought they looked like the powdered type!! I could be wrong!! Well, it's worth a visit! Just be aware that waiting for food is quick. The wait for drinks at the bar is quite long due to low staffing

Revisited on Monday with friends and family and we had a lovely meal. Food was spot on and the service was great again. Staff always go above and beyond and nothing too much for them. All in all another great visit there

Sizzling Pub Wanted to continue my Cambridge pub reviews therefore I entered this pub. What a big menu, from pub classics to comfort food. Took us a while to make decisions. The food we ordered was prepared well, generous portions with very reasonable prices. We enjoyed everything, from the rump steak to the salmon to the sides. The chips were still hot. The salad was a mix of different vegetables and raw onion. It has breakfast menu too. I wonder if it's available all day? Or just morning only? It looks interesting too. Attracted by the champion cup ice cream dessert too. Would that be as massive as the Robin Hood (other Cambridge pub)one? The staff were working hard to clean the environment. Unfortunately found that the seats are still dirty. Had to line some tissues or a tote bag before sitting. I will come back to try other things on the menu. See you soon!

My family ate here last week, they had to wipe their own table and said the place was filthy. 3 out of 4 adults that ate there got food poisoning and have been very sick. Do not eat here.

Went for a family meal and was very impressed with the food. I asked to see the chef just to thank him for a lovely meal and a gentleman by the name of olek came out of the kitchen and was very polite and thanked me for my appreciation of his food. Will be going back again for sure 👍

My family and I come to the milton arms fairly regularly for get togethers and meals, but today's visit was a nice quick trip with my husband. We always have a lovely experience here, the food is great and well priced and they have a wide variety of drinks also at good prices. Special shout out to Lee and Ray who served us today! We were greeted warmly and with smiles, and they attended us in a friendly and professional manner. Thank you to the whole team for making our trips here so lovely 😊

Took parents out for new years eve meal, fish was re fried , wattress said she she saw it being freshly cooked.. it clearly wasn't. Mixed grill.. chicken looked boiled , sausages were undercooked, steak was OK and gaman was nice. Waitress was friendly and welcoming,

A lovely little experience without the kids. Good prices, tasty food and the staff on duty Lee and Ray were really friendly and attentive. Shame we were rickrolled by the music. Would recommend

We live just near by Milton Arms for quite a few years and usually go there at least once a week, we have never had problems and usually the staff is really polite. Some days ago my family and I went in (9ppl in total) around 9:15pm to have a few drinks and we were told by Courtney (waitress) in a very rude way that next time we should book a table even the pub was dead because if not it will overwhelm the staff and it wasn’t fair on her, the pub literally had 10 people in there and on google it says it closes at 11pm. We did not appreciate it.

Large clean & tidy. Chicken Tikka curry, looked good, tasted good. Fish & chips, chips good, fish not good, clearly refried, although waitress insisted it was freshly cooked, maybe it was, yesterday. Mix grill, looked ok but chicken was colourless looked boiled rather than grilled? Steak tough & chewy. Meal intended to be a New Year's Day Treat! Very disappointed.

Breakfast was terrible. Scrambled eggs on toast, never ever in my 67 years seen scrambled eggs like that,

Had Christmas Dinner. Soup cold Main meal warm, turkey roll cold, roast potatoes excellent Christmas pudding still frozen with cold custard. Staff very good

We were visiting family me came cross this pub we popped in for quick bite to eat, in very welcoming from the outside clean and fresh inside team member who served us was very helpful with the menu good piping hot tasted great and drinks fresh will defo be back in the new year when visiting again well done keep up the good work.

Whilst on my travels I visited the Milton Arms in Cambridge. The food was good and it was a good atmosphere, but most of all the staff were friendly and always seemed to be there when I needed another drink. Top pub that I would recommend

Went here with my son , ordered veg lasagna for myself, didn't taste anything special, possibly readymade, and wasn't very hot , a day later had food poisoning, sickness and diarrhea, haven't had tummy upset for over 15 years, certainly put me off ever going again, shame as staff where very polite but rushed off there feet too our table had to be wiped down while we waited .

Its an awesome place to be, staff are so welcoming and most importantly the food was amazing as well.

Had an evening at the Milton on the 7th December to try the Xmas menu and I was underwhelmed by the food the Brie bites resembled babybels coated and fried there was no cheese pull (sad) and the cranberry jam was exactly that jam however.. the behind the bar staff and our waitress made the evening fun and the service was great, shout out to Matt for the cocktails and baby guiness’ yum 😋 thank you guys Apologies to Matt for leaving him behind he would of been more than welcome to join us down town sadly I’ve nowhere to send future invitations 😢

When we walked into the restaurant area it was an absolute mess. Literally every table was full of dirty plates and drinks and no one was on them. Poor customer service, food was cold when it came out and it wasn’t the best. Really disappointed.

I go to the Milton arms with my partner once a week for breakfast and every visit is welcoming. The breakfast is always good,staff are very friendly and caring especially Lee who works there she is always cheerful and helpful.

My husband and I popped in for lunch and the food was delicious! Everything was piping hot and the service was quick

Matt served me and my work colleagues. He was extremely friendly from the moment we walked in. He suggested drink options for us based on the drinks brands we requested that they did not stock & he offered us the option to play darts or pool. 5/5 would recommend to others.

Meal OK. But no coffee! No Port!! In a pub.... then amazingly loud sound system for music bingo night, drove us out. Pretty poor 😕

Came in for brunch Nice bit of steak cooked as it should be with well balanced peppercorn sauce. Lovely place to have a meal followed with refreshing cheap drinks to wash down and peaceful conversations with people I came with. Cosy inside seating, open garden providing fresh air. Waitresses are sweet, informative, casual but lively. Thanks, Lee and Paige we had a good time !

Came to eat with my brother and sister and Matt was amazing as we were cold and he chucked the heating on for us and was very welcoming.

Just had a lovely meal with whilst visiting the family in Cambridge. The staff were friendly and helpful (Lee,Paige and Russ). The food was nice and great value for money, the deserts were amazing. Well recommended.

Went out with family from Belgium for lunch after shopping in Cambridge. It has a really great location and convenient to get too on the way home. Ordered quickly and the order came through pretty quickly (the kids didn’t even have enough time to moan they were hungry.) and there were plenty of colouring in and making Halloween hats to do too! The lady dressed as a cat (didn’t catch her name) was amazing, making sure we were happy and all the food was ok - which it was!! Would come again!

I was served by Lee and russ and they where both really friendly and welcoming and the food was amazing they gave the kids activity packs to do while waiting for food really good experience

Arrived about an hour or so before the rest of my family arrived with my busy kids. Allowed us to take up space nursing a beverage before everyone arrived. Gave the kids sweets and activities to keep them occupied. Really friendly people(Lee and Russ). Food also good. Kids enjoyed themselves.

I found this to be very disappointing. Unfortunately they were extremely short staffed however this should not affect their service. The lady just placed food on the end of the table as she didn’t have time to hand out to the intended person. The mix grill was not worth the money. They did cook the steak as asked. They forgot to bring my daughter’s chips out. We asked for them to be brought out however all we got is that they will look into it. Everyone now has now finished and we still have no chips!! With how stressed and unfriendly the staff are we have left. I’m hopeful that on a good day you can get a more acceptable service.

Really nice meal today. Matt made us feel welcome and had a good laugh.
