Amazing lady Jenny served us thank you so much

Certainly had an upgrade, the food was good, fish and chips but other meals looked and smelt good.

Really nice food. Really good attentive staff. Both manager and guy with ponytail are super friendly and good at their jobs

Went out with the family great staff this 1lad matt was so welcoming also the atmosphere was so comforting

Not good at all! Southern fried chicken skewers all 3 plates dry and burnt. Very little peppers and onions accompanying the skewers. Not enough sauce. The sides…. Chips were fine onion rings limp but edible Mexican pasta avoid not spicy in the slightest and the pasta I’ve never eaten anything like it before just kind of crumbled. Small Portion of fries topped off with a filthy sticky table.

Jenny is so lovely and always makes you feel welcome! Breakfast is always lovely and brilliant atmosphere and so friendly

Reasonably priced food lots of offers

Service was second to none. We were served by Lee, Bar staff and she was amazing. She put up with all 9 of us different orders and personalities and was fun all the way. Thank you to Lee to making our visit a lot if fun. Wi definitely go here again

Came for breakfast today, visiting the area. Good portion sizes, great value for money. Jenny was very friendly and helpful.

Honestly had a great time Matt was juggling a few things at once but was doing brilliantly and making us laugh while doing it 🤣 what a guy will deffo be back

2nd time bad experience .i ordered lamb kofta and found a big piece of plastic in it ,after waiting for more than hour to receive the food ,looked more than 15 minutes for waitress to come at the table to see the plastic and couldn’t find any ,i took the plate to the bar where was someone and shown the plate with the plastic looked at me took the plastic away and didn’t even apologised just walked away !!! Disgusting !

Jenny was the one serving me. She was kind, has good knowledge of the bar and goes up and beyond with treating every customer the best She can.

Really nice place near my home. A lot of tables and warm atmosphere. Burgers there are good, especially on Friday nights. The last time I was there on a rainy autumn day, had a cup of tea. I had a great expirience there, and Lee was really welcoming. Recommend it.

I recently had an amazing experience at the Milton Arms, and a huge part of that was thanks to Lee. From the moment I arrived, she was friendly, attentive, and made sure I felt completely welcome. Her service was exceptional—she went out of her way to ensure everything was spot on, making the whole visit feel special. The food was great, but what really stood out was the atmosphere Lee created with her upbeat and professional approach. It's rare to find such attentive service these days, and it made the afternoon a truly memorable one. If you're after a warm, welcoming pub with someone who really knows how to take care of guests, I’d highly recommend the Milton Arms—and make sure you ask for Lee

Lee is amazing, she’s always seems to be on her own but she smashes the service & she’s so lovely, kind & chirpy. Sad that the food came out a bit burnt on both meals, missing some bits on the share platter but hey no not complaining what I had was nice sadly my friends meal wasn’t as nice the chicken burger was so over cooked so glad I didn’t go for that 😂. Very disappointed in the pub manager as she hasn’t contacted me regarding a charity event we are doing for a good cause….a simple email would be nice plz.

Worst mix grill ever! Chips dry and hard (left under heat lamp too long), chicken cooked from frozen (watery and tasteless) sausages dry skinned and hard (yesterday's for sure), egg snotty,.. wasn't expecting the ritz but come on its not hard to cook an egg.. Avoid this place

Having found the Milton Arms we are now very much weekly users. We travel from Bury St Edmunds We always pop in for breakfast and never disappointed. The staff, in particular Lee, are fantastic. Lee has always made us feel welcome and she always has a smile and despite us being regular users she always treats us the same as everyone else. 100% recommend to all.

Great place, delicious food, nice drinks.

Came for a lunch with family. We all had different meals and each one was well presented and more importantly, hot! Waiting staff were friendly and efficient making sure we had everything we needed for our meals. On shift were Lee and Matt, very good members of staff.

Great time here. The staff were nothing but attentive. Honestly they went out of their way to help me. ( speaking directly about Jenny with the mayo) . The food was absolutely delicious. Our chicken skewers were so tender . Definitely recommend coming here

Very disappointed, took an hour to get our main course, the food that arrived looked like scraps thrown on a plate. Shame, used to be great but I won't return. Only saving grace was the very sweet waitress

Happy to take your money, just don't ask them to change one of the many screens to a different match they advertised to be showing, which was the reason I was there in the first place.

Met the new manager Jenny, she was amazing!! So easy to speak to and welcoming. Food was lovely and out in good time. Will defo be returning.

Took over an hour for the meal to come out with no apology,staff didn't know how to smile only one staff member did and she was collecting money for cancer , finally got told only 2 Chiefs on I have been to other pubs bigger than this one which only have one chef and the food is of better quality and only half an hour wait, wouldn't have minded waiting if the food was good

Well organised and following guidelines. Witnessed customer getting told off for walking about and told to sit down and for group to quietly chat... So overall, impressive.

Fabulous lunch here today with family and being served by the delightful Lee. She was bubbly, friendly and great fun and made our visit very enjoyable. I would feel very safe coming in on my own with my book to have a glass of wine knowing that Lee was around. Will be back!

Lee and Matt done excellent service. It was very busy at lunch time. However, you could see they were doing their best not keep us waiting too long. Chicken strips were more buttered, barely could feel the taste of it. About 6 months ago chicken strips were so much better

We had a lovely Saturday lunch at Milton Arms. The food was delicious and the portions were huge. Excellent value for money. Matt, our waiter was very nice, friendly and helpful. The toilet was clean and smelled nice. Altogether we were very satisfied

Often come here for a quiet drink in the garden, great food, drink, and a pleasant service from Matt, what a G! Really close to work so makes sense on a Friday!

Lunch with partner today and all was fab. Food hot and very tasty, staff welcoming and very friendly. Lee was marvellous, happy and never seemed to stop but always with a smile and a chatty word or two. Would recommend to all!!

I was there 3 times a year ago. This year twice and I just love that place. Variety of food, drinks. Service also great! What I like the most is taco set from kids menu haha

Lovely pub, with a good range of dri ks and meal options. The weather was spot on so managed to take advantage of the beer garden too! Didn't catch their name, but the staff member with dyed hair and piercings was so welcoming and really made the experience!

I am a regular customer and always find this the very best for food and customer care all the staff are super lovely and go out their way to make it a pleasurable experience! The I met Terry today ☺️ well what a wonderful manager he is I’ve never met such a welcoming person who was clearly run off his feet yet still has that time to ensure the customer was listened to and made felt so welcome! Really can’t beat this pub on its customer care & food well done always love my visits.

Been here a few times now and it's one of my favourite places to go when in the area. Food is good, service is good, plenty of tvs if you want to watch the sport

Nice pub really good pint and very reasonable prices

I have to say, I haven't been a fan in the past - but visited on Sat 1st June with my friend. It was completely rammed, but the man at the food order til was SOOO lovely, could not have been nicer. The waiting staff were rushed off their feet, but still so nice and friendly. My friend and I didn't realise how late it was and tried to order a pudding after the close time for food orders and were still accomodated with a smile. I have to say I will eat my hat from what I thought previously - food was hot, staff were lovely!!

This pub captured my heart from the first time that I went there. The atmosphere is so relaxed and pleasant, everyone who works there is sweet and attentive. And the food is banging, specially for the price.

Nicest Hungry Horse we've been in. Decor and atmosphere pleasant, staff really friendly, food tasted decent for a great price. What's not to like!

Apart from being charged for a pitcher of a mocktail instead of a glass, on our second round of drinks, it was ok, unfortunately I hadn't realised at the time. Don't like the fact you don't get a receipt or I would have realised.

I highly recommend coming here the food is a great quality & is a fair price, even the children love it! if you have a big family like ours its an affordable place to go to, I was particularly impressed with our server Leah! She went above and beyond with professionalism and customer service with out a doubt we are always greeted with a smile, all of our needs and wants are met by the hungry horse 😋 Also if you enjoy reasonably price cocktails avoid the killer prices in town, this is the place to be 🍹

The food was very good but one thing the breakfast could of been bigger should b two eggs two sausages bigger mushrooms. But it taste so good .also has a roast that was very good

Absolutely great food with excellent portions at a good price. Reliably good too as this was my third time and still the same quality. Excellent atmosphere and service as well, fast food to the table and they even replaced a fully cooked meal free of charge when it became apparent one of our group had accidentally ordered the wrong thing which they would have been in the right to have charged for. Cant recommend enough.

Staff were rude. If you cannot handle 8 people walk in during weekday noon time when it’s only 30% full, maybe there is some serious work on management needed. 8 people walk in is no different than 2 people x 4 walk in while your staff didn’t talk with those clients like that.
