Huge range of drinks. Excellent service.

Fine pub, but demeanour of bar staff leaves much to be desired. I was served as if they were doing me a favour! I understand bar work is hard work, but don't take it out on me my good man.

I feel bad writing this review as someone in the hospitality industry who knowing its consequences but the service here with food is utterly unacceptable. I ordered a pizza 20m before my friends even arrived at the pub and yet I had to wait over a hour for mine despite everyone else joining me far after my initial order. I had to wait 50m for my order while all my friends enjoyed their food after 20m of my order. As someone in the industry I feel bad to bring it up but my ticket took an hour whilst 4 of my friends received their food before me despite ordering at least half an hour after me. It’s just bad service and I had to wait at least 15m after all my friends had finished eating their food which was quite embarrassing. The food and beer were very nice as they always have been but the service is yet again disappointing. I hope things here improve soon

Been here twice and both times have loved it. Chicken and beef burgers are out of this world and can’t recommend enough. Selection of beers on tap and draught are excellent and bottled beer fridge is top notch. Will be back!

Cambridge Blue is a great spot for a casual pint. Their smashed burger is absolutely delicious, cooked perfectly. Seriously good beer selection too, something for everyone. Friendly atmosphere and quick service. Definitely recommend checking it out if you're in the area.

This pub has the best burger I tried in Cambridge so far. I acknowledge the photo is not great, but the traditional cheeseburger has two patties and a delicious creamy cheese. The patties are soft and tasty, the opposite of other pubs that I recently tried in the city, which have hard and not-so-tasty beef. I also very much enjoyed the seasoned fries, which are standard but better than average. Place is warm, cosy and welcoming. However, everything seems a little bit pricey, that's my only criticism.

Great pub in a highly competitive area of pubs, does well and certainly worth being a stop on any pub crawl! very large garden with covered seating and heaters. Will come back

A great pub to meet up and have a few beers. Lovely atmosphere and huge heated marquee out the back. Never had the food, but it looked good from what I could see. Dog friendly. I do love to see a dog in a pub.

Popular spot, especially in the summer. The outdoor seating area is quite big. Good selection of beers.

My fav pub in Cambridge! The garden is lovely in the summer (the gazebo is a bit old and worn though), and now, nearing Christmas, the interior is cozy and beautifully lit. Huge selection of beers. Nice food. I love this place!

It's a Cambridge landmark. Beers and ciders of every type. At least 10 beers and 8 ciders on tap at any one time. Arrays of Belgian and continental bottled beers beyond count. All immaculately kept. It's a tribute to the art of the landlord, cellar and bar staff.

Por muy bonito que sea el pub es decepcionado por el personal menos que amable que parece postergado por su presencia. Pedimos unas hamburguesas, que se pusieron en la misma bandeja de servir con una descripción adormecedoramente rápida... dejándonos adivinar lo que estábamos mirando. Los extras que pagamos por desgracia se olvidaron y tuve que entrar en la cocina para preguntar. Nuestra mesa estaba limpia de vasos y platos solo una vez en las 4 horas que estuvimos allí como una fiesta de 15 ... .

Do not go to this pub. I ordered a vodka, lime, and water and they charged me for 7 shots of lime (which was £4 might I add, more than a shot of vodka!!!!), then when I disputed they told me that it was 7 shots when I clearly saw that the water was filled to the brim and it was a small dash of lime they told me I was lying and it was more than that. I said show me on camera and they said we cannot. Absolutely diabolical.

Nice pub with a big garden and good food. I recommend the pies. You can get to the mill road cemetery from the beer garden.

They charged 6.5 quid for a pint. That’s like 13 bucks Canadian. What a crazy rip off. I was strongly advised to go there. Their kitchen was malfunctioning when I got there so no way to assess food. But I wouldn’t go there just for the beer/stout. Atmosphere was typical but luckily not corporate.

I have been coming to this pub for many years and seen a few changes. It's a decent pub with wide variety of draft ales, keg beers and probably the widest selection of [Belgian] bottled beers in Cambridge. Sadly, the quality of the ales are very disappointing these days, it's hit and miss whether you get one in good condition. The food is is pleasant enough but nothing special. Staff are friendly and helpful but the pub can get very busy, especially at weekends. It looks like a cozy back street pub from the outside but it's a large lively place with a big outdoor covered garden space.

What an absolute gem of a pub, don't be put off by the outward appearance, once your inside you'll find a huge, diverse selection of beers in every style and friendly staff who'll talk you through what theyve got on. Huge amount of space inside and the garden is equally enormous.

A large Dog friendly beer garden backing on to mill road cemetery. Fantastic choice of real Ales, ciders and Larger. The smash burgers are the best around....Highly recommended...

Don't be put off by an empty pub! Great food and drink available, lovely beer garden which is covered for all weather.

One of the best pubs in Cambridge, huge range of Belgian and Lambic beers alongside a broad range of craft beers and traditional ales on tap. Food is cooked in-house and comes from the Gorilla and Lamb supplier.

Cracking pub with superb choice of beers and a huge covered garden in the heart of the cosmopolitan Mill Road area.

One of the best pubs in Cambridge they have a nice array of beers and ciders. Food is so easy to order, as there is a QR code you can scan and order directly from and they will bring the food to your table. The food choices are limited, which is nice you don’t have to think too hard about what you have to eat. If you get the chicken sandwich don’t order any sauce on the side as it comes with it. There is gluten free buns or you can just opt for your burgers to be on a plate of fries which I prefer. The space is larger than you think as there is plenty of outdoor seating.

El Cambridge Blue es un excelente pub de cerveza / sidra real en Cambridge. Aunque no estés en la parte ocupada/turística/universitaria de la ciudad, vale la pena encontrar el camino. My pint of Bitburger was on the sharp side of going off and my wife's pint of pale ale was a citrus pale ale and also tasted like the pipes needed a clean. Venue is OK other than that though with a large covered garden.

Pretty good pub. Plenty of spacing inside but much more outside, under a covered space. Very good selection of local or specialist ciders. Also seemed like they had a big selection of Whiskeys behind the bar. Food provided by Gorilla and Lamb. The menu at the pub was much more limited than what I'd seen online on the website. Burgers were good and reasonably priced with food coming out very quickly.

The Cambridge Blue has an excellent selection of Belgian beers which you can drink in their large beer garden!

A local Camera Pub should not be missed. It has a great selection of ales, beers from around t and whiskeys. The burgers are nice, but a tad expensive IMO. Often a long wait at the bar at busy times. Still, you have not seen Cambridge without a visit to "The Blue".

The Blue has the best beer selection I have found in Cambridge, and their huge back garden is a brilliant place for a drink, particularly in summer or if you have a large group. The veggie burger option is also tasty. One of my absolute favourite pubs in Cambridge (or anywhere!)

If you're visiting Cambridge, you must find time to visit this pub. The pub memorabilia on display here is unbelievable, and takes you on a trip through time. Some very rare artifacts to be admired. And the beer selection on tap is top notch!

It's a good pub for meeting up with mates for a beer. Outside has a large canopy covered set of tables. Food menu is basic but nice food (burgers and chips etc.)

I was blown away by this pub when I first visited many moons ago as I couldn’t believe what was lurking in an unassuming back street. The Cambridge Blue should always be commended for the effect it, and the other members of the original holy trilogy, had on the surrounding area to make this such a fantastic beer town, however I feel it’s become a victim of its own success and expansion and lost something over the years. And for me that is its pub feel. It now feels more like a permanent beer festival than a pub, and the beer tray adorned extension and the bench seated tented outside space more resembles a tent at the Octoberfest than it does a traditional pub. It’s still worth a visit because the ale lineup, both on the pumps and in bottles, was superb as usual and there’s not many pubs you can walk into and find a line up the like of XT’s Squid Ink, Batemans’ Dark M, Tring Brewery’s Kingmaker and Liberator, Bishop Nick’s Devout, Wharf Brewery’s Puck’s Folly and No Name as well as Mad Squirrel’s Hopfest alongside New Age, Release the Chimps, Egyptian Cream and Business Time from Nene Valley Brewery. Quality was up there as usual because it gets the pull through, but that does mean it’s invariably busy. I will always visit when in the area to see what’s on, but when I start yearning for a more traditional pub experience then fortunately the music themed Geldart and the rejuvenated Kingston Arms are just a short stroll away.

There is a nice selection of beers, ciders, and sours. There is also a rotating menu. We had the smash burgers and the spicy chicken sandwiches. Both were top notch. The fries are seasoned perfectly!

Attended in a group get together as a celebration on a super busy Thursday evening. Atmosphere was very chilled and super friendly from the moment I walked in. Food took a long while to arrive but it was worth the wait. Overally , a nice place for sure ✌️

Always been a fan of the blue. Didn’t have food but it looked good. Main issue is speed of service but the variety of drinks is great and the outside area is very good now.

A fantastic find in Cambridge, we went to watch the rugby there a few weeks ago but unfortunately they didn’t show it so went back this weekend. They’ve got a fantastic selection of draught beers and ciders as well as Fridges loaded with beers from around the world. Would love to try the food one day and will definitely be going back in the summer months.

Lovely pub, great beer, Classic grumpy landlord (His heart is as warm as his head is shiny though!) Gets very busy in the evenings, a little pricey, but an overwhelming choice of booze. Great staff! Love you guys.

First visit to this local pub in Cambridge, amazing range in beers and ciders. Friendly locals and staff, highly recommend unless you are someone who can't enjoy a pint without ruining it for everyone else. A local gem, with great food and huge selection of beers. I take all my friend here when they visit Cambridge- I tell them it’s the real Cambridge they won’t find on the punts or the bus tour. They are always pleased. Long live the Blue!

Beers and atmosphere get a 4. Food was a disaster though, complete waste of time and money, absolute shambles, pretty embarrassing to be real, they should pack it in, couldn't finish it, gets a 1.

Excellent choice of beers and ciders. Great food menu too. I had the sweet potato and goats cheese pie which was very tasty. Good service on the bar and with the food. Lively atmosphere as quite busy, but it was a Saturday evening and its not surprising its popular as such great range of beers.
