Me and my partner went in for our anniversary and the food was amazing we both had a cheese mushroom starter and for our mains the dirty steak burger george was great from start to finish he's was very attentive and very welcoming definitely a credit to the company will definitely be coneing back.

Lovely every time I've visited. It's not cheap ,but you get what you pay for. The Sunday Roast Sharing Platter was fantastic.

Friday lunch treat. We had a lovely lunch, the food was delicious, can recommend the prawn cocktail, loved the lettuce wedges. Steak was very good. Service was exceptional from Leon. Also one of the best lime and sodas, no ice as requested, I have had anywhere.

Ribeye was cooked perfectly but it was the smoky Chargrilled king prawns that surprised me, Best ive had this side of Europe and ive tried a fair few..Also the service was genuine and friendly.

Our waiter (Leon) was polite and efficient. He helped us to navigate the minefield of the Miller and Carter loyalty offers. The food is not cheap but is reasonable quality. Why bother charging £1 extra for chunky chips?

Such a lovely and cozy place. The food was amazing, and the service was top notch. Plus I got to charge my car while I ate.😁

We were placed on a table near the main entrance. We were given a small plug in heater to keep us warm, however every time the door was opened a chilling gust would come in and would remain that way until someone closed the door. This would happen every 5 minutes as customers were entering and leaving. I paid £40+ for the T-bone steak which wasn’t cooked how I requested. The steak was also full of fat. I can’t recall the last time I had a steak at a restaurant and had one as poor quality as that. For the money I would have expected a good quality steak that was cooked to my liking. Safe to say it has put me off ever going again.

Was so looking forward to having a steak here the other night, we were travelling thru the area and checked this Google listing which says they close at 11pm... It seems that the kitchen closes much earlier than the stated closing time. This was disappointing and easily avoided - simply list your kitchen closing time.

Good meal, steak was good, cooked well and tastes nice however it's not the best steak locally and for the price you would expect ot to be the best. Maltshovel in nuneaton provides a better steak for half the price. That said it was a good experience.

Leon is brilliant, his service is second to none. This is the second time he's served us and he's so knowledgeable and fun to talk to. Excellent service. The food was incredible and the poached pear pudding was out of this world. Excellent food. Highly recommend!!

Sally was our waitress tonight and I have to say she was amazing. There were 9 of us in total including 3 children. We were celebrating my son-in-laws 40th birthday. Sally made the evening as special as it could be so huge thanks to her we all had an fabulous time

The absolute best steak I've ever had! Sure you don't know me and of course you don't need to trust me but pay those guys a visit and you'll keep coming back.

I know it's freezing outside but you don't expect to go for a meal and have to sit in your coat. I felt sorry for the waitresses because they were taking the brunt of it. The food was ok but was cold and I would say this was down to the fact it was freezing in there. Everyone was sitting eating in their coats or had scarves around their necks. If I visit Miller & Carter again I will choose another venue. Could and should have been managed better.

We had an amazing birthday celebration with the best waiter, Leon. Leon took care of everything we needed and made sure we had a great time. The steaks were incredible and I would highly recommend Miller and Carter.

2nd update. And I've removed the previous good review as its no longer deserved.This is no longer my favourite place to eat. I barely leave my home due to agoraphobia. So a date night at our favourite restaurant for our 7th wedding anniversary seemed right. 25 min to get our drink orders taken, they've removed any good dressing for the salad wedges and prices are ridiculous. Sad to say we will not be returning again.

Sally was a great table host! Very relatable and down to earth, made all the effort to make our experience great as a party of 14! She was on the ball with fast service and great banter! The kids pasta and meatballs was not good though at all, and the meatballs tasted so bad even I as a parent didn't eat them. They didn't taste like meatballs they were dry and tacky. The other food was delicious and will be visiting again

The burger was absolutely delicious – perfectly cooked, flavorful, and satisfying! Alex, our server, was outstanding – friendly, attentive, and truly went above and beyond to make our experience enjoyable. Highly recommend both the food and the exceptional service! But please less bbq on ribs.

We love Miller and Carter, but this was our 1st visit to the Hinckley branch. Liam our server was lovely, very professional and attentive. Food was absolutely delicious as always! Our favourite restaurant as a family to visit.

Service was slow and steak not cooked as per request. Server said they would speak to thier manager on what they could do. Having asked what the result of this conversation was when the bill was presented I was advised they just apologise. Not really acceptable especially when celebrating nye.

Sally provided excellent service from start to finish making our New Year’s Eve meal one to remember. Sally was highly attentive and made sure my dietary requirements were catered for. Nothing was too much trouble.

We live locally and are regular patrons. This time, we were left with the feeling that our evening family visit was an abject disappointment, bluntly we felt ripped off. OK, the whole hospitality scene is under enormous pressure but on this occasion we had the impression that the management, perhaps not locally, had taken the chance to pack in the bookings irrespective of the capacity of the waiting staff and kitchen to meet the demand. The table was not ready when we arrived, some choices were not available and the whole simple meal took more than three hours from arrival to departure. Not easy with an early meal booked to facilitate a child's bedtime. Some of the dishes lacked the freshness expected and were lacklustre. For example, the gravadlax offered in place of the prawn cocktail (not available) would have been enhanced at little extra cost to you by the provision of toast or brown bread. It was clear that all the staff were overworked. We would suggest that you resist striving for 100% utilisation even at peak demand to maximise your revenues, risking, say, 70% customer dissatisfaction, some of whom will not revisit. Despite all this, we felt it fair to reward our lovely server, Danielle, with the usual gratuity as, after all, it wasn't her failing but the total cost for four adults and one child at £239.47 was not reflective of our enjoyment.

Really not good. I had a burger, which was dry. Family and friends had steak and burgers also…all burgers were very and the steak just average. Nothing special. Deserts were brownie, which seemed microwaved, it was black and looked like a piece of coal. That was also dry and not gooey as expected. The restaurant was also cold, so we spent the dinner wearing coats. Overall verdict, not great.

Great night celebrating our anniversary. The food was out of this world with a lovely atmosphere, Georgia was a lovely waitress and made the evening complete.

We arrived tonight 20/12/24 and Debbie looked after us perfectly from start to finish. The restaurant was very busy due to it being Christmas but everything was A1. Will be sure to come back soon. xx

Great menu food was delicious although some came out cold.

Fab cocktails and fillet steaks were just beautiful. The only downside was that it was very dark and the car park is very small.

We came for my mum’s birthday meal and had a fabulous time. Nicola and the team are wonderful, thank you for looking after us so well. Would definitely recommend anyone come here for a great experience!

I have visited this Miller and Carter so many times in the last couple of years. But the last 3 times have been so disappointing. The first 2 I put it down to just a bad experience of bad luck. But this time it was just too many bad experiences. I always order the same black Angus ribeye medium rare. But apart from the first inch or so it has been more rare. And this time around it was just plain raw. I couldn’t eat it. Also please avoid the newly added blue cheese and white port sauce. I try all their sauces and this was inedible. A very disappointing visit from a previously loyal and happy customer. I won’t be back for a long time, if ever.

Great dining experience as usual

Where do I even begin. It was my 18th birthday today and so I was treated to a surf n turf (my favourite). The atmosphere was so cosy and had a familiar feel like a country side pub except more luxurious. We were greeted by Sally. Sally was so full of life and at times I forgot she was a waitress because she felt more like a friend making me laugh and feel so welcomed despite being my first time there. I wish there was a Sally at every restaurant across the world but there can only be the one unfortunately. Her service was unforgettable and made not only my dining experience but also my birthday that much better. The food was just as perfect. The Fillet Mignon was so tender and melted in my mouth packed with flavour. The menu was so simple to understand and order from thanks to the presentation of it but also Sally. I finished with an espresso martini and a small creme brulee. The creme brulee was delightfully light and I could honestly have eaten several. The espresso martini was the perfect transition from childhood to adulthood providing an ever so slight sweetness making it that much more enjoyable. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Lovely meal with friends with do our pre Christmas catch up and present swap before I headed home . Food was lovely as always , as was the service we received . I love the consistency of the quality of the steaks we have here every time . The one that did arrive underdone ( I sadly ruin a steak having it well done ) was rectified swiftly and without complaint . Thank you and hope to be back in the not too distant future , Cass

Visited this week for the festive menu. First impression, restaurant was cold. 5 degrees outside, but not much warmer inside. 2 course menu priced at £32.95. Should be in for a good meal on a lunchtime deal for that price. Alas, not impressed. Could not fault the food, but not nearly enough of it. Meagre portions. To make it a real Christmas meal, it was another £10 for 3 small dishes. Come on M & C, £42.95 for a proper 2 course festive lunch is scandalous. Pudding was adequate. Shall not rush back. Merry Christmas.

Came here for team Christmas lunch . Very impressed from cracker , starter and main . I had a chicken liver and brandy parfait and turkey ballotine for main . It’s £32.95 not cheap for lunch but just festive enough for everyone .

Great experience, only exceptions were a piece of plastic in our food and steaks unseasoned... Salt and pepper available on table which was great, but there is something about a steak cooked with seasoning... Could be personal preference.

Excellent lunch shared with friends.

Requested a nice table near a window. We were shown to a scratched table by a door, it was very cold. I stated we wanted a Sunday lunch when booking but the don’t do Sunday lunch at the moment, nice to let us know in advance. Starters came, my daughter had a piece of plastic in her cheese mushrooms, my medium steak was totally raw and bleeding whilst others were over cooked. Brussels were terrible and raw also and food was at most like warm. A server came to our table with 1 bowl of lettuce and 2 steak knife’s and asked who was having steak, we said all of us, 10 minutes later someone else come with 4 bowls of lettuce and 4 steak knife’s, not organised and very cold in there, not what you expect when your spending over £200 just not welcoming at all. Seeing as it was a Xmas menus not a Christmas decoration or cracker in sight. Won’t be returning anytime soon.

We have a group of six ex and current colleagues and have been to Miller and carter hinckley on several occasions, we had Sally as our server and she was absolutely brilliant, she very quickly realised that we were up for a laugh and she really made our evening, I saw her serving other tables and she showed great emotional intelligence to tailor her approach to each table to ensure all her guests had the very best service!
