Hinckley Knight in Hinckley and Bosworth

This was a get together with friends. We had a lovely meal without costing the earth. We were served by Grace who was very helpful and pleasant. Will definitely return.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our meal, the food was delicious……we both chose the Gammon and Pineapple 👌 The service was excellent and All the staff especially Grace was Amazing!! Well done to the whole Team. We definitely will be returning & have recommended this place to All our Family and Friends 👏🏻😁

Great food at a reasonable price.

Grace our server tonight was absolutely lovely. Very friendly. Food come out of the kitchen very hot and was cooked beautifully. Could not fault it.

Had lunch today with friends and our respective granddaughters. Quite busy as half term but no lack of attention from all the staff. Made to feel very welcome. We all had great food and a relaxing afternoon. Can’t fault this venue and will continue to support the team who deserve credit for their attention to customers. Well done.

Always a lovely warm friendly atmosphere from the staff and great value for money. The food is good and always served on time and hot. Would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone for food and service.

Really good food. Typical pub fare. I had the XL mixed grill. It was superb. Steak was cooked as per my request. Everything was piping hot. If I'm going to super critical the sausage was pretty average but every other item was amazing. Highly recommend if you just want some pub grub!

Absolutely awful. I visited a few months back with family and had to send my steak back 3 times and ended up not having a meal, and this wasn't me just being picky, I kept being served blue steaks, cold blue steaks. I was willing to give them a second chance today. Again a fully blue steak when I ordered medium rare. Sent it back. Was asked if I wanted a whole new steak or this one cooking longer, I was fine with the latter as there's no point wasting it. Comes back not even 2 minutes later like it had barely touched the grill. Struggled through half of it but it was really not pleasant. Ordered dessert to redeem my evening. Was told after we'd ordered and paid that it had run out. Chef can't cook a steak and servers don't know what they have on sale. We won't be returning. I was glad to see they've stopped serving kids food in those ridiculous HOT metal trays though.

Sports bar/ pub only ever been once previous. As it turns out was 2 4 1 night. Great value and you get what u pay for. Food was decent enough. Lots of tradies getting thier evening pint!

Been coming here for a long time now and it has turned into a regular place to visit with friends, weather it be for food or just a quiet drink. Staff are always friendly and have a smile on there face. They also have a pool table dart board and a la rge TV that has sports playing. Never waited longer than 20 minutes when ordering food and would highly recommend coming here to anyone from the area or even if your just passing through. Kelly who runs the bar is such a friendly person and an absolute pleasure to chat to when visiting. Would have gave 10 stars if that was an option

I went with my sister in law as I have ill health and it was a surprise for me after visiting the cemetery marking the first anniversary death of her husband, my brother. We love it there. Staff are so friendly, food is delicious and good value for money. Nothing is too much trouble for them, when I asked them to heat my latte as I like it hot. Nice relaxed environment and atmosphere, a pub which I always take to when they visit.

Had a lovely evening. I ordered steak & my friend ordered Chicken , it was delicious. A lovely atmosphere created by such friendly & helpful staff. Jordon really looked after us even helping us decide which pudding to have (your right Jordon the sticky toffee cheesecake was delicious) Really impressed with the service from beginning to end.

Absolutely ridiculous system for trying to book a table, has to be done online but when the website says that they can’t confirm a booking online and to contact the restaurant directly, which I did, they simply tell you to go on the website to make a booking as that is the only way they take bookings. Where is the common sense in this situation. Surely they can manually make bookings. The staff member I encountered were not very helpful, Immature and rude, complete lack of customer service skills. The food was good but other than that it was more effort than it was worth. We were a table of 9 and the attitude of one girl in particular just ruined the whole experience.

Love this pub, the food is always good and the service is spot on. Definitely recommend. Been coming here and off for years and it's always a lovely place to visit xx good for sports and also has pool tables and an over 18s area to.

The staff were very friendly as soon as we arrived, the food was great and didn’t keep us waiting at all. An easy midday meal to enjoy in amongst the Christmas festivities.

Very enjoyable afternoon with my family at the Hinckley knight, my toddler was very excited about the teddy grab machine. Our service was brilliant, special shout out to grace for being very helpful and fast. Brilliant pub.

When I was at the Hinckley knight the other night couldn’t find anything wrong with my meal I would highly recommend it to anyone who is coming in the area. Big props to our waitress Grace for being fantastic and making our table at ease.

Just had a meal tonight at the Hinckley knight with my fiancé we have been before and it’s been a lovely experience every time. Tonight we had lovely service from the staff they were lovely and polite. Unfortunately the food tonight was definitely not the best, me and my fiancé left all of our meal and came home. The meat on our mix grills weren’t cooked enough or to chewing to actually eat. I’m so sorry I don’t usually leave reviews and I’m not a person to complain mainly due to my anxiety but me and my fiancé just couldn’t eat our meals. I did want to tell staff but I didn’t want to make it a big deal especially when staff work so hard. I do want to thank all staff for the service because you’re all lovely but I’m disappointed about tonight.

We received a very warm welcome. The staff were really polite and escorted us to our table. The friendly atmosphere was echoed throughout our stay and not just an initial false nice welcome. The bar staff were knowledgeable on drinks and advised us wine options. When ordering meals the staff were also exceptionally helpful when accommodating food allergies and personal preference. When the food arrived it was hot, well presented and cooked to perfection. We were also asked if we required anything else and then later during the meal asked if everything was alright for us. This was a totally professional experience

Had a family get-together. All the meals were delivered to us in good time, hot and all were very good. Staff are very welcoming and friendly.

This was my birthday treat and I had never been in before. I was pleasantly surprised the atmosphere was chilled and comfortable, ordered food at the bar from a good choice on the menu. Food and drinks arrived quickly and it was delicious. Desserts also great choices.

We went for a meal to celebrate our 1st wedding aniversary (25th November), my sister and brother in laws 30th wedding anniversary (26th November) and my wife's birthday (27th November), so quite a lot to celebrate, and a great evening was had by all!!

We live 10 miles away from the Hinckley Knight but consider it our local simply because the food and service is fantastic and we’ve never had a bad meal there. Kelly, Dave and the team are always friendly and polite and nothing is too much for them. I don’t usually write reviews but the Hinckley Knight deserves a good review not just because of the consistently good food but because of the caring community they are creating. Kelly and Dave’s daughter is raising money for McMillan and recently had a large Stitch character that was being raffled off so I got some tickets (no pressure from anyone to buy at all) and actually won. Kelly phoned to tell me and said to just pop in and pick it up - again no pressure to eat, just a genuine caring person. We visited tonight and had an excellent meal and picked up our Stitch. Thanks guys for the consistency in perfect food and a lovely atmosphere - you honestly don’t get that very often

Staff were very effiecent and welcoming

I've been here a few times meeting up with ex work colleagues & have never been disappointed with the VFM meals on offer. I particularly like the rake of ribs, which is a recent addition to the menu. The staff are always helpful and friendly. I will certainly return in the future.
