Food was excellent,service was excellent, prices are affordable for everyone. 100% we will back💐💐💐 Lady who was serving us was very nice and warm.

Here with a large group of work colleagues, food is good and good selection of drinks. Staff really friendly and service good.

Just had a lovely gammon and chips, also a Hunters Chicken. Everything was perfect, order was hot, tasty and in good time. Definitely value for money, finished off by a nice hot latte from their new coffee machine. Many thanks to Kelly and Dave and the team for their great hospitality. Very friendly atmosphere and a pleasure to come to.

Like all pubs in burbage really nice and pleasant and great Sunday roasts. Staff are on the ball especially when it's busy and are always friendly. Never seen any trouble here and we come here often especially when the football is on.

Service is incredible! We live locally and this is always our come to pub for food, drink and a laugh with the team. They’re all so down to earth and they never disappoint. The food is also incredible and it is so affordable!

The pub serves Greene King IPA at a decent price £3.09 and it is well kept The food is excellent value with half price and bogoff options Lots of TV for watcing sport and plenty of tables. Typical pub grub. Gammon recommended.

Amazing pub! I come here all the time with friends &/ or family. The food is always fantastic. The service is outstanding. The atmosphere is great too. Staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome and accommodate all your needs. Highly recommend 😀😀😀

Fast service and friendly atmosphere.

We had a very pleasant experience thank you. First time I have visited here in a very long time. A meal for the four of us, came out lovely and hot and quite quickly after having been ordered. The waiting staff, bar staff and Manager couldn't have done more. Polite and efficient with just the right amount of banter with a smile. Checking politely if everything was to our liking but not in our faces. Can't fault my personal experience this evening. All working extremely hard that I could see. Thank you - would definitely visit again.

A pleasant evening. Food served hot. Decent menu. Soooo disappointed with the price of the drinks. I ordered a J2 0, with a splash of lemonade. I was charged £ 3.30 for the J2 0 and £1-85 for a splash of lemonade. So £5-15 for a soft drink. Absolutely appalling prices. This has really put me off returning.

Top quality service and food. This place never let's us down. Fliss and guys behind the bar deserve pay rises, they are always attentive and friendly. Always a pleasure, jusy one thing... bring back the steak fondue sharer lol. Keep doing what you are doing because you are smashing it. Thank you 😊

Good traditional pub grub....staff great

Just had Father's Day here, me the wife and the two young children. Food was fast and very nice. Had the Sunday Turkey Dinner myself and well worth the money. Planning on going back very soon.

I was not expecting fine dining by any means but that was seriously bad food. If it wasn't a family event I'd have refused to pay. The fried food might be ok but I had the "flame grilled" lamb kofta wraps. They've certainly never seen a flame and it's be surprised if they'd seen a grill. They looked and tasted like they'd been boiled. Accompanied by a single piece of lettuce and about 8 tiny pieces of onion. Left feeling ill and my stomach is still churning. My 2 year old niece had chicken, mash potatoes and peas. Complained that the mash was odd and we were told "yeah, it's just processed stuff that we order in and put in the microwave". At least she was honest. Gross!

Went for drinks after work. Great service, food was pretty good, and great value for money. Atmos was aittle lacking, but it was early evening.

Not the best! Menu boring 😞 Asked for the kofta kebabs but apparently they were not delivered that day. Ended up with a starter for lunch. Bought two small bottles of sparkling water. The price for water was shocking! £6.50 the food might be a reasonable price. But the drink isn't.

Staff really rude. Didn't have a table which was fine, but the staff attitude was disgusting!!!! Rude and unnecessarily abrupt! Repeating themselves even though we were deciding where to go. Work on customer service skills rather than trying to make people unwelcome.. very disappointed as every other time its been great- put food as 5 even though we didnt obviously have anything, felt it fair as the service and atmosphere was the main reason for the review

Food was of poor quality and portion size poor, food was cold and my partner was not given what he asked for, the apparent landlady pleasant which is more than I can say for the blond waitress who had a face like thunder and the tall girl with dark hair. I didn't complain at the time as my guests would have felt uncomfortable. I won't be going back and I am now going to email Greene king. Dreadful experience!!!!

Booked a table, tried for 7 people but nothing available. 5 of us went instead, there was plenty of tables for 6 that a chair could have been put at the end of. Food was good, always is. The opportunity to increase size of certain dishes has been removed which was disappointing. The bar service was friendly, the table service was slow but still friendly.

I have never known such a turnaround of an eating establishment, I went on Sunday coming back from a weekend away with family and had no choice but to book my Stepsons 21st which was last night and a table of 14.... and considering its next to Miller and Carter.... I was gladly surprised with the quality here ten times over! Staff and management were brilliant 👏 vibrant and accommodating, I even got to watch Liverpool play.... this place is a must to try or try again if you had a bad experience in the past! Seriously well done to the whole team including the kitchen staff! More importantly thank you!

Me and my family came down last Friday, the 17th to celebrate my birthday. We ordered the steak fondue to share, my granny ordered fish and chips and we ordered nachos for starter. We all sat at the same table, paid at the same time but on different card payments. My granny’s dish came out, but we waited over 20 minutes for ours to come out. When we finally got our food, the steak was so chewy and tough, very gristly and was not appetising at all. However the drinks were great. But we weren’t happy with the food at all.

For the money the food is great, the staff are friendly and the pub itself is very welcoming.

I always go Everytime I’m home because it is such a great place ! The staff are delightful and I love sitting and chatting with them ! Would recommend to anyone looking for a lovely evening. It is also very good for family meals and celebrations, we have had a few there now and the staff always take the best care !!

Always a welcoming stop on the way to Mallory Park just grab some food. Very friendly atmosphere.

30th January which was our second visit and passing through to get home. As per my last review everything was excellent, the 3 ladies working on the evening were welcoming, polite and friendly and nothing was too much trouble and all done with big smiles, excellent service. We both had Lasagna with a side of chips and coleslaw, the food was piping hot and the Lasagna was very tasty and great value for money, the waitress was very attentive and checked to see if everything was okay with the food, yes brilliant. I can’t praise this place enough as it is hard to find somewhere these days where you leave feeling you have had the best service and quality food, my only regret is that we don’t live closer as we would probably be there every night. Great job to all concerned 😁😁

Last minute decision to stop for food as we were passing. Staff was very welcoming, and the food deals are a bargain. Ordered food and drinks and within no time food was at the table. The portion size was great, and the food was fantastic. Will 100% visit again. Thanks.

Only reason I went was for the free coupon for a pint of Madri. Went when the Liverpool game was on. For such a big pub, maybe only 10 people there in the bar area. Staff was rude and looked like they didn’t want to be there. Very much a standoff manner when we got served, I don’t think they liked we had the coupon as they complained people have been trying to use the same coupon to get free beers. Next time we get a free coupon, we will happily travel to another pub to claim it rather than this one that’s round the corner. There’s a reason why the 5 burbage pubs are always busy and this one isn’t

Staff are extremely rude especially the managers. Don’t have a clue how to run a pub. Food was awful and came out cold. Flat beer in a warm glass. This place stayed open even tho they have water worms. Wouldn’t kennel my dog in this place.

Wanted a table of 8 tonight at 6.15pm told no fully booked! Despite there being tables free and two people behind the bar idly chatting! I pointed out that our bill for 8 meals, desserts and drinks would be considerable to be met with a shrug of the shoulders and a so what attitude! Nice you can afford to lose business and pay staff to mind an empty pub!

Enjoyable night out with good service and friendly staff worth a try, parking was a little difficult as it was full but it is a busy time of year.

The Pub currently has an amazing Christmas atmosphere, thanks to the lovely decorations and Christmas tree. As always, we felt at home as soon as we arrived. The welcome at this Pub by Kelly and the rest of the team is always lovely, as they take the time to have a friendly chat and catch up. Food was lovely. Can highly recommend the Hunters Gammon. Perfectly cooked and really tasty. Great value, good food, served by wonderful staff. See you again soon and Happy Christmas to you all🎄🎄
