The staff were very friendly as soon as we arrived, the food was great and didn’t keep us waiting at all. An easy midday meal to enjoy in amongst the Christmas festivities.

Brilliant food, excellent value for money on burger night. Also worth mentioning whilst all the staff are good, one waitress (Grace) always shines above the others.

Delicious food at great prices, amazing service from our waitress grace ⭐️ We Will definitely be visiting again soon. 👍🏻

We received a very warm welcome. The staff were really polite and escorted us to our table. The friendly atmosphere was echoed throughout our stay and not just an initial false nice welcome. The bar staff were knowledgeable on drinks and advised us wine options. When ordering meals the staff were also exceptionally helpful when accommodating food allergies and personal preference. When the food arrived it was hot, well presented and cooked to perfection. We were also asked if we required anything else and then later during the meal asked if everything was alright for us. This was a totally professional experience

Had a lovely festive meal on Christmas eve, the cheesecake was delicious. Thanks to all the staff for making it a great evening.

Had a family get-together. All the meals were delivered to us in good time, hot and all were very good. Staff are very welcoming and friendly.

I went with my sister in law as I have ill health and it was a surprise for me after visiting the cemetery marking the first anniversary death of her husband, my brother. We love it there. Staff are so friendly, food is delicious and good value for money. Nothing is too much trouble for them, when I asked them to heat my latte as I like it hot. Nice relaxed environment and atmosphere, a pub which I always take to when they visit.

Haven't been here for a while as just moved home, but the food is always good and the Christmas decorations are fabulous. Staff are very friendly and always smiling. Well worth a visit.

This was my birthday treat and I had never been in before. I was pleasantly surprised the atmosphere was chilled and comfortable, ordered food at the bar from a good choice on the menu. Food and drinks arrived quickly and it was delicious. Desserts also great choices.

Spot on, cant fault this place, meals are exceptionally good value and quality. The staff are all very attentive and very friendly. Grace our server on this occasion was a credit to the place very friendly and cheerful, service with a smile is always good, she delivered that.

Had a lovely evening. I ordered steak & my friend ordered Chicken , it was delicious. A lovely atmosphere created by such friendly & helpful staff. Jordon really looked after us even helping us decide which pudding to have (your right Jordon the sticky toffee cheesecake was delicious) Really impressed with the service from beginning to end.

We went for a meal to celebrate our 1st wedding aniversary (25th November), my sister and brother in laws 30th wedding anniversary (26th November) and my wife's birthday (27th November), so quite a lot to celebrate, and a great evening was had by all!!

We live 10 miles away from the Hinckley Knight but consider it our local simply because the food and service is fantastic and we’ve never had a bad meal there. Kelly, Dave and the team are always friendly and polite and nothing is too much for them. I don’t usually write reviews but the Hinckley Knight deserves a good review not just because of the consistently good food but because of the caring community they are creating. Kelly and Dave’s daughter is raising money for McMillan and recently had a large Stitch character that was being raffled off so I got some tickets (no pressure from anyone to buy at all) and actually won. Kelly phoned to tell me and said to just pop in and pick it up - again no pressure to eat, just a genuine caring person. We visited tonight and had an excellent meal and picked up our Stitch. Thanks guys for the consistency in perfect food and a lovely atmosphere - you honestly don’t get that very often

I've been here a few times meeting up with ex work colleagues & have never been disappointed with the VFM meals on offer. I particularly like the rake of ribs, which is a recent addition to the menu. The staff are always helpful and friendly. I will certainly return in the future.

Just loved this place, the food is really fantastic, service is great, the place is nice. Definitely will visit more times. I recommend for anyone who likes meat! Parking was not too full when I went but it's the only thing I've noticed that might be small if it's a busy day.

Dreadful food. Poor quality. My son ordered the chick n mix, undercooked chips with black bits on from dirty oil. Overcooked but slimy chicken wings and fillets. I had a Sunday roast which was vile. Solid mash which I couldn’t eat, frozen dry roast potatoes and rubbery beef. Drive straight past and save yourself the disappointment.

After spending the day at Twycross zoo with my partner an 5 children, we called in for our dinner on the way home. They quickly found us a table for the 7 of us, the food came quick, an the children really enjoyed their dinner. We had dessert an the 2 smaller children were running up an down the walk way laughing an enjoying themselves an no one said anything or moaned about them having fun. The staff we spoke to were warm an friendly nothing wasn't too much trouble. Definitely will be call back in aging.

What an absolute gem of a pub! Easy to find, right on the A5 and one of most friendly teams you will ever encounter. Special mention to the lovely landlady Kelly, she is so hard working and always welcomes you with a smile and a friendly greeting. Food is always fresh and tasty, hot and served by a really pleasant team of staff who always make sure you are looked after! The menu has something for everyone and offers a great variety, my favourites are the steaks and burgers, these are truly delicious with some of the freshest ingredients. Family friendly and also good for solo visits, prices are reasonable and good value. If your travelling from Coventry to Leicester or up the A5 or fancy a quick diversion from the M6 or M1 then the Hinckley Knight is well worth a short diversion of your route. Plenty of car parking and they also have EV chargers for you if you have been converted to electric cars 😂

Really good value. Great fish and chips. Burgers good too. Charger points in car park but only 2 of 4 operating. Would go again for the value for money.

First time been on an evening, was busy, very attentive staff, food was good and delivered very quickly after ordering. We're not rushed by staff to eat meal. All in all a good night with good food at cheap prices. We had 2 classic meals which were just under £14 total, cannot get 2 x fish and chips for that price. Really good value.

Food was excellent, service was good and fast. Can’t beat it for the price and will definitely be coming back with many others.

Just been charged £2.30 for a dash of lime in soda water. That's absolutely discussting and the meals look like somthing kids could do on a fisher price kitchen. What a joke!

Table no8 tonight at 6pm.... I had rump steak which I had to put in tissue for my dog as it was tougher than Mike tyson..... When the server came to collect the plates I informed her that my steak was inedible and she politely smiled and asked can I get you any thing else....no one came to ask what the issue was...

I cannot recommend this pub enough there is lots of choice for food whether you want two meals for a set price or higher end meal all the food is delicious and all all the staff are absolutely lovely and accommodating especially Kelly and Dave. Kelly is the friendliest person you will ever meet and goes above and beyond for her customers and a absolute asset to the pub, it wouldn’t be the same with out her

Was greeted with a nice warm friendly welcome, Steak and Ale pie was lovely but Gravy was thin and watery had to ask bar lady to change it. She replied well that's how it comes, I beg to differ. She came back with much thicker gravy. Had we been asked if the food was O.K I would not have gone to the bar to complain. We were going to have Apple pie and Custard but thought twice incase the custard was watery.

We had a lovely meal,the slow cooked rib of beef fell of the bone and was very tasty with the roast potatoes and veg. My husband had the gammon and said it was the best he’d had in a long time.I will definitely eat there again
