Miller and Carter in Coventry

It was my first time and I couldn’t be happier. Cole our server was all round perfect and very good at his job

Although the restaurant was almost empty when we arrived at 12:30 our order took quite a while to arrive and when it did, my new potatoes were almost cold and I was not aware that they would be smashed. I was also a little disappointed that my filet steak was not as tender as I’ve come to expect. Our desserts were delicious and finished off our meal delightfully. Our waitress, Ann, was friendly and polite.

Visited today for the first time and couldn’t be happier with my experience! Food was amazing, perfectly cooked and came in a timely manner, our server Maya made us feel so comforted and welcome as soon as we were seated, was very professional yet still warming and funny! The atmosphere was great, perfect setting for a nice meal! Honestly do not have a bad word to say about the place, would definitely recommend!

We had a really bad experience here yesterday and the service was shocking. We ordered a sharing steak for £70, and asked for it medium rare which the menu advised would be brown on the outside with mostly pink in the middle and some red. When it came out it looked great, but as we cut into it it was overcooked. We didn’t want to make a point of saying anything specifically but when the waitress came over to ask how our meal was we did say it was a bit overcooked and quite a tough. She got the manager without us asking so she could resolve our issue which we thought was quite good. The manager came over and was so incredibly rude. She was trying to argue with us that the steak was better cooked this way and if we wanted she’d go and cook it for longer to make it less tough; we explained that our issue was that is was overcooked and cooking it longer wouldn’t help. She was raising her voice, rolling her eyes, and quite frankly made a right scene. People were turning around and it completely ruined our meal. When she left two other tables made a comment to us about how bad her behaviour was and to be honest she made us feel very intimidated. She kept on looking over during our meal and when we left again she was staring and rolled her eyes at us. I don’t think it’s professional or acceptable to be spoken to in this way or to be made to feel intimidated by the manager when one is simply voicing that a £70 meal isn’t cooked correctly. Paying an £100 bill for a steak we didn’t finish, and an awful experience has left an extremely sour taste in my mouth. I would honestly not recommend visiting this Miller and Carter at all.

Me and my friend came here today and were so impressed with the food and the service! The food was incredible, we both agreed it was the best meal out we’ve had in a long time. Our server Maya was so attentive and helpful, she made our experience so much more enjoyable, thank you so much! We will definitely be returning!

We celebrated our 10 year wedding anniversary here. Our server, Kirsty, was fantastic. She is friendly, pokite, and attentive.

The service was absolutely shocking. The waitress was very rude and what seems to be just to our table. The only difference between us and the other tables was that my partner is a person of colour and i am European. It was very hard to get her attention and every interaction was rude and unpleasant. We wanted to have a nice Saturday lunch, but ended up having horrible experience. On top of that my partners stake was well done when he ordered medium well. When brought up to the attention of the waitress she was very unhappy, but took it to the kitchen. It seemed like she had a bit of an argument with the chef, but they agreed to make a new stake. When the new stake was served, it was still well done but we were told that it spread well done because of the light….. We have been to this branch before and always had an amazing experience paired with great food. Not this time around! I would expect this type of service from different establishment, but not Miller and Carter

We had a lovely time celebrating my father in laws 80th bday. The staff were amazing, very helpful & friendly. The fillet steak was a little disappointing, a bit tougher than the rump steak but other than that we all had a lovely time. Thank you.

Mine and my partners steaks were cooked to perfection last night! and the service is amazing. The staff, including our server Maya, are friendly, attentive, and make you feel right at home.

AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL! I had saved and saved for my daughters birthday to treat her for a meal at millers & carter. Where to begin! Waitress was rude, unprofessional some unbeknown reason had a issue with us! She tutted, rolled her eyes and walked away whilst i was still ordering my food. Food was average. When i spoke to the manager she apologised reluctantly then later said "I've apologised, what more do you want"!! I was horrified AVOID

The service was top notch.I booked a table while outside the restaurant so that was great as there was a good availability of different time slots. The wine,the food and the dessert were all exceptional! The lady who served me was very friendly,effective and efficient.She made sure I got everything I needed and kept checking to make sure I was comfortable. What you can improve on; Some chairs have dips in them which can be uncomfortable.I think they are due to be changed otherwise I can't fault the place or the food or the environment. If I could I would visit again and again!

Visited tonight for a family meal, and the food was outstanding, and the service was amazing, especially our server Maya, she was very helpful as some of us have never been before, and over all a lovely person.

Partner took me here for birthday lunch, hard to find anything to criticise, I did notice steps into dining areas, and wondered about disabled access so.i asked and there is a route that is flat or a few tables near the door before the step. Will definitely save up to come here again .

Absolutely disgusting my austic son age 12 Who has sensory issues was refused access to sit and eat as he was wearing soft fabric jogging bottoms.although there was adult men already sitting eating in there eating.we did ask do they want to see his disability card which was refused and we were told to leave most of the restaurant heard out discussion which was quite intimidating.people in there also reached out to us stating it was unfair And also said to us take pictures of what they were wearing for head office which I will show below The whole restaurant including cooks and staff were watching.so embarrassing This was the Hinckley branch the manager was Emily very unprofessional at the least .

The service was great. The sticky chicken starter was luke warm, soggy and tasted like reformed chicken. It use to be my favourite starter but won't be ordering it again. I had steak for main. I asked for well done and the blood was oozing on my plate. I was also like warm. Very disappointed and won't be returning.

Second time at M&C in Coventry as we’re from Northampton and stop in if we’re going past. It smashes Northampton’s M&C’s out of the water who cannot cook a steak on quite day! Kirsty our server was amazing helpful and on the ball and made sure our food and was exactly how we wanted it to be. The food was seasoned well and cooked to perfection, definitely recommend

The food was great, the choices good and the waiter was excellent- very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. Wait times were longer than we’d have liked, but I accept that this is often the price of good food.

It was our first visit last night and we were delighted with our experience. Our server was very friendly and nothing was too much trouble for her, and the food was delicious! The only thing I think that would have made it 5* all the way was if there was some nice background music but it's definitely not a deal breaker and we will be back again soon!

A belated 30th birthday present from my husband, we’ve wanted to try Miller and Carter for a while now and it did not disappoint! The portions were perfect, the food was incredible just as we expected and our waitress Emma went over and beyond, was so friendly and inviting and even decorated our dessert for my birthday. 10/10 would recommend.

The delivery is horrible. They delivered cold cooked steak that smells like expired.

The food was delicious and a lot better than I anticipated. It was cooked to perfection and had incredible flavour. The presentation was great and the service was very fast. The staff were friendly and helpful and our experience was lovely. Would recommend to everyone !

I couldn't have asked for a more perfect experience! The food was incredible and absolutely worth every penny - the chef certainly knows their way around a steak and some ribs. I have to recommend the beef dripping sauce with the steak, it's actually made of magic! The staff are lovely and friendly, and the locale is wonderful. Extremely clean, incredibly pleasant place. The perfect spot for a night out or a dinner date! 😍 Shoutout to our server Gemma for being lovely and friendly. She was more than we could've asked for! Thank you for making my night wonderful :)

Kirsty was amazing and extremely knowledgeable. Nothing was too much trouble for them. I have a couple of unusual allergies, one being capsicum (all peppers inc black pepper) which they handled superbly. We will definitely be returning. Thank you for making my birthday special.
