The order was ready quickly, as you would expect with a Chinese Takeaway. The food was very nice and just what we needed after a long day exploring. Especially the chicken balls, which were not greasy at all (like they can be). Overall, very happy.

I ordered spicy beef with pepper. After a long day with the kids I was so hungry. Even that I can't find myself to eat this. I tried and i didn't taste any beef..and who deep fry beef like this anyway?? It's so dry and tasteless and I swear they probably used just flour instead of beef. It's the worst Chinese food I've had and I don't normally write any bad review because I dont want to hurt small businesses. But this is just a rip off

I think that's it's the best Chinese takeaway in Ilfracombe. The food is cooked in front of you. It's very clean and the staff and chefs are always very pleasant. Highly recommended.

Shocking food. Fried rice that tasted boiled, microwave chop suey with spam cubes . Soggy pork balls and don’t get me started on the greasy spring roll. Absolutely the worst Chinese I have ever eaten.

This take-away accepts only cash . Very disappointed with food. My duck was served with white onion instead of spring onion. Onion and cucumber were big chunks.Pancakes were shredded with holes.I couldn’t make even one proper pancake.Pork balls were soaked in oil.Absolutely disgusting 🤢. Wouldn’t recommend this take away.I didn’t enjoy it at all.

We love our Takeaway here in Ilfracombe. We have our favourites, but the range on their menu is great. They are very popular and of course that can come with a waiting time, but we've never been disappointed and the food has never come cold. They cater for our dietary needs, plus my experience of ordering from multiple places throughout the UK has always placed here as a preferred takeaway.

Called a few days before to make sure we could order food for dinner on Christmas eve and that was a yes but didn't answer or was closed very disappointing when you count on them for dinner. Avoid is better

Worst food of any kind we've ever eaten. There were lumps of spam or luncheon meat in the special fried rice. Do yourself a favour and eat somewhere else. Anywhere else!

How this got a 4 star rating I do not know. I was really looking forward to a Chinese meal and was extremely disappointed. This is the worst Chinese food I have ever had. Never had spam in Chinese food before and could sole your shoes with the beef. It was terrible. Spring rolls were practically empty and crab soup made with crab stick. Will never go back to this takeaway or recommend. I only put one star because it was the only way I could write the review. What waste of £31

Typical Chinese take away food, nothing special.

My experience? Honestly, they already spoke badly to me about the food but I decided to try it, I only ordered the crispy beef...🤢The sauce compared to other Chinese restaurants or takeaways....horrible, normally that sauce is sweet But it was sour I had to add two pieces of sugar to remove the bitterness it had, Anyway .No more

There is a pay and display car park only a couple of hundred yards away, Food was ok but not amazing.. prices were OK and service good.

Wasn't sure about this place from reading reviews but we are down here on holiday and my daughter wanted Chinese for her birthday tea. Had sweet and sour chicken, egg fried rice, banana fritters. Hot, plentiful and tasty. Ordered in the shop and food ready in 15mins (6pm on Tues eve). Very happy daughter.

First time whilst revisiting Devon on holiday.Beautiful meal..Wife said crispy chilli beef was the nicest she has had anywhere, and the sweet and sour balls were lush.I thought Singapore chow mein was lovely , tasty meat, and great flavours ..will recommend to other family visiting .Thank you

after seeing some bad reviews we were almost put off trying this place but i’m glad we went ahead and ordered, the hot and sour soup was incredible and really spicy 👌🏻 the chicken fried rice was also incredible and the curry sauce was the icing on the cake 🤤 one of the best chinese takeaways we have ever had, i would give this place 10 stars if i could. the lady that took our order on the phone and the man i collected my food off when i got there were both really nice, happy and friendly 👍🏻👍🏻

Had a takeaway when on holiday. Reasonable prices. Tasty food. Sweet and sour chicken Hong Kong style was mainly batter. The quantity of chicken was very small. Staff polite and quick to get cooked around 10-15minutes. Cash only!

The service here is disgraceful. Drove a 30 minute round trip to collect a large order for a family of 9. Got back and we were missing a sweet and sour chicken balls from our order. We rang back to be told that we hadn’t ordered them. When then giving them a name for the order they agreed that we had in fact ordered them and proceeded to tell us that they “didn’t know what we had done with them”. They refused to refund us by bank transfer or to deliver the missing item. The girl on the phone seemed to think it was ok as we had all eaten. She believed that when we got home and realised it was missing we should have driven back with all the food to prove the item was missing. Eventually I was given the option to collect the missing item however by this time I wasn’t prepared to do another 30 minute trip to collect them as it hadn’t been our mistake. When I showed my frustration I was told to “calm down” and that I was “ a very rude lady”. I asked to speak to a manager to be told there wasn’t one. Will not be using them again.

Been wriggling with food poisoning all evening Prawn balls were soggy dough. Sweet and sour sauce fermented. And my greasy noodles were put in the bin with everything else. Wish I ate a sandwich and saved myself the stomach pain. Disappointing is an understatement.

Genuinely confused. After seeing more than enough good reviews thought id give it a go, food barley warm , very bland sweet and sour sauce had no sweet n sour to it. Chips either cooked 3 hrs before pick up or microwaved very dry. Shame we waited an hour and were really disappointed just bland chow mein sloppy. Wouldn't order again. Shame

Me and my partner (picky partner) come down to illfracombe every few months and we decided this time to get a chinese and thankfully we chose this place!!! My very picky partner loved it and we almost had to order a second time! Keep it up guys!

The phone never stops ringing the guy answering it know his menus prices and who orderd what,calm under pressure! Food is always good and freshly cooked for your order! Have used loads and will keep using!😁

Phone to place an order for collection, got told will be an hour so the husband goes to collect after 1 hour to be told its not ready come back in 20 minutes as we are busy, we get the food it was room temperature, prawn crackers was soft, the meat in the curry was very chewy, safe to say this was our first time using this Chinese and will be our last!! If I could give zero stars I would of!!!

Wasn't impressed by the food especially the Hong Kong style chicken it is meant to be sweet and sour sauce but it just tasted of tomato sauce I couldn't eat it. The chow mein was soggy. The only thing that was OK was the rice and prawn crackers. Would not recommend.

Best Chinese takeaway in England in my opinion. My favourite is the spicy peppery chicken. Mouths watering just thinking of it 🍜 the owner is very kind and always smiling.

We have just had a meal takeaway, we are very disappointed in the quality in some of the food, We had pancake rolls, which we’re lovely, Sweet and sour pork, were disgusting , the batter was not fresh, they looked like they had been reheated, Couldn’t hardly get a knife To cut through them, , chicken in lemon was tasty, but more batter, than chicken, Chefs special rice with chicken and pork , was very nice, We are not one for writing complaints on the internet, but we are so disappointed, 😡

Just got down here set tent up and thought dinner so go to millennium House ,tey only take cash (who has cash nowadays) as for the food grotty, I had chicken chowmain (you have tescos cheap and now I have had this )plastic would be better ,sweet and sour chicken balls (more grease than chicken)and don't get me started on the sauce ,for four it was £44 well worth wasting my hard earned money on ,never again

Well organised for Covid. Food ready within 10 minutes. Hot & well packaged . I ordered 4 items but they were all very bland & my king prawns had a much more potent smell than they should have. Pricey for what we had & accept cash only

If your not into spam then DO NOT USE!! Ordered a duck chow mein and it came with Blocks of SPAM. YES you did read that right, it's some kind of blocks of pork meat.

Good food with friends and nice people

Ordered a Chinese for 5 people whilst on holiday in watermouth rang and asked about delivery to be told yes by taxi and it would be £4 to which I agreed normally I would have fetched it but had had a drink asked for the total which came to £37 +4. When it arrived the driver charged us £47.50 when serving up the meal we had ordered chicken fried rice which was literally chicken and rice nothing else. Special fried rice wasn't much better just rice and mixed meat. I ordered chicken with black pepper and it was spicy chicken nuggets with peppers no sauce to go with my not so fried rice, the other 2 meals were OK and that's all they were OK. To any other holiday makers seeking a Chinese Avoid this place rip off.

Not the greatest quality food, overpriced and not very well prepared. Made a simple order to a disinterested and sullen worker and they managed to get 2 of the 5 dishes completely wrong.. By the time we were home and had realised the problem we were so hungry we just ate it instead of returning it. Will not be going back

The satay chicken was pretty tasty which is about the only good thing I can say about this place. The veg chow mein was pretty vegless and the crispy shredded beef was more like claggy lumps of batter?? in a sauce that had the same effect on the mouth as sticking your tongue on a 9v battery.

Had a takeout not long back from here, prawn crackers were stale and chewy. Sauce wasn't great in the meals we had and the meat was just in big slabs in the chow mein. Average price for a chinese but poor quality food.

This is without doubt the best in town great service, Always very friendly. Don't mind making the dish without nut if you personally don't like them as I dont. The food is always 5*. Been eating here for the last 20 years & I wouldn't go anywhere else xx

On holiday and this was the closest Chinese. Difficult to park near. The food was not good very bland and no flavour or colour. Went in the bin. I'm sorry but I wouldn't recommend.

Food was below avarage, possibly the worst Chinese our family has consumed. Wasnt impressed compared to the south west, and looking at the reviews they didnt live up the expectations. But the people in the takeway where friendly and welcoming.
