Mill of Mundurno in Aberdeen City

Had an amazing experience by the two members of staff that served us all night. It was the gentleman with glasses and the small lady with black hair. Both were amazing and made me and family feel very valued even with two big party tables and it being a Saturday night. Your chefs actually made my steak bleu which most restaurants don’t do and my son ended up eating half of it due to it tasting so good. Then the icing was a small bit of cake with my pudding and the staff signing happy birthday. This was my first birthday at home for about 5 years so I will definitely remember this one thank you so much.

Food was delicious Claire was amazing, friendly and very knowledgeable with my food allergy, she made the dinning experience very pleasant

Decent enough breakfast choice available for the price £10.99pp and benefit of kids (15 and under) eat free with adult (one per adult paid). Usual cooked items and also cereals etc. OK bakery items. Coffee from machine was freshly ground beans to cup. Nice. Decor on ceiling could do with a freshen up as it looked like they’ve had some water ingress issues.

Great food at very reasonable cost.

This will be the last time I eat here. Haven't been for a while and thought we would give it a go , wish we hadn't. Soup was cold , meant to be with croutons (still never found them), no bread either ,seriously since when did they stop bread. I had turkey , well stuffing ball was size of a 1p piece and burned to a crisp, sausage was still onking, roast potatoes weren't roast at all, Yorkshire pudding was half cooked and since when is chopped onion part of trimmings, no Brussels sprouts,. My wife had steak that was burnt to a crisp, brings a new meaning to well done, onion rings still chewie in middle. To say we were disappointed is an understatement, it's clear that the food is all just reheated and nothing actually cooked in the kitchen. Well you have had the last of my money that's for sure. 🤮🤮🤮

Nos alojamos en Premier Inn por 2 noches, cenamos una vez y el desayuno aquí dos veces. La cena estaba bien y los desayunos eran muy buenos, pero lo más destacado de nuestra estancia fue el servicio en el restaurante cada vez que comimos allí. Todo el personal era servicial, amable y fue más allá para ayudar a hacer de nuestras visitas un placer. Quisiera mencionar especialmente a Keiran, Lewis, Claire y Hannah. Todos fueron amables, eficientes, charlaron con nuestros hijos y los hicieron sentir especiales. Nuestra hija adolescente necesita una dieta sin GF y la ayudaron a elegir del menú, pasaron tiempo con ella para obtener el pedido correcto y luego entregaron su comida a la mesa cada vez, a pesar de que el restaurante estaba ocupado. Gracias a todos, estuviste genial!

I went to Mill of Mundurno with some friends to have a Christmas meal. We all had the Turkey with trimmings and it was delicious. It was really good value but what made our experience so good was the excellent customer service we received from Lewis, Iris and the manager Kieran. They were SO attentive, kind and cheery and brought festive joy to our table and helped create a great ambience. Also they were brilliant when we explained that I had a fish allergy. They went into great detail to explain the menu and gave me information to read about allergens and how food would be cooked separately etc. It would be great if their hard work and general brilliance could be rewarded. Edited review after a return visit 23/11/24 Service was brilliant, waitress was friendly and attentive. Only point we had to say anything was we received kids starters before our drinks. Food was lovely and service was quick. Can't complain and will be back

We were meeting after a long time and we stayed for a very very long time. The staff members were lovely and allowed us to stay as long as we wanted. They didn't complain when we were laughing at shared memories and perhaps a bit louder than we should have been. The food was delicious.

Round of applause to each member of staff on duty this evening whether you served us or not. We had a fantastic experience!!!! We booked a table for 4pm for 4 adults and a baby. We arrived slightly early and needed to go in to use the baby change facilities (slight maze of stairs to get to but didn't personally cause me any upset). I noticed that the staff member coming to attend to us had been sitting eating a meal, possibly on a break. However, was very prompt in coming over. We were greeted warmly and offered a choice of tables. We chose to sit in the bar. The server ( I think was the manager) provided us with a highchair and explained how ordering worked. I went to the bar to place the order of 2 soft drinks, 1 large wine, a 0% beer, and 4 main meals - totalling around £65. The staff member (manager) was chatty and had a bit of banter. Offered us extras and checked for allergies straight away (which we had but weren't an issue). Our drinks were served straight away, and our meals arrived hot and tasty not long after. We had 2 x smothered platter, fish and chips, and a cheeseburger. Every one of us cleared our plates and enjoyed every morsel. They were genuinely delicious. We also enjoyed some lovely warm apple pies and a knickerbocker glory. As we were leaving I approached the staff to leave a tip and thank them for a great visit and they all seemed extremely grateful that I had so I just want to reiterate that we really did and they deserve the praise. I would also like to point out that the menu in this establishment is VERY ASN friendly. One of our party is deaf and usually just has something straightforward and familiar when out for a meal as reading a menu can be difficult, however this one is laden with pictures of many different choices and this allowed him to have something he maybe wouldn't have chosen had we gone to a usual haunt. The (manager) staff member even gave him his own personal menu to take home as a wee souvenir. The only tiny tiny fault was the car park. I still have no idea if I was parked in an actual space as the lines are very very faint. But no biggie Again thank you very much we will definitely return.

We usually visit this restaurant when we're travelling home from visiting Aberdeen, as we don't have one locally. The main attraction is their 2 meals for £11.99. We always have the fish and chips, which comes with a choice of peas and homemade tartare sauce. The fish is fresh and the batter crispy. The menu doesn't specify the type of fish, but at this location, it's always haddock and not the inferior pollock. I can't speak for other locations. We've had the smothered chicken previously, but the size of portion is variable. Not sure we'd visit if they didn't have the offer.

Very accommodating and even when I was late to the bar for food they made an exception and cooked me a meal which was greatly appreciated.

The staff made the evening - very polite yet happy to share a joke, making sure we were all happy with what we had ordered and ensuring we got a further drinks when we required them.And of course an excellent meal!

Quiet for a weekday lunch but you can't turn down £12 for two main courses

when martin and ross are on shift you know your going to get good service, very attentive. Great atmosphere in the bar area and friendly faces.

Top notch bar and restaurant. Went for drinks with friends. Service quality is excellent and standard of food is top tier would definitely recommend.

We go here quite regularly but last weekend we requested a seat in the restaurant to which we were refused and asked to sit in the bar even though the place didn’t look too busy, it’s been busier before and we got seated in the restaurant. To add to this my husband had ordered a mixed grill as he always does and one of his sausages had a hair on it but my husband just removed the sausage from his plate and ate the rest. When the waitress came to take our plates away my husband mentioned to her about the hair she just said sorry and couldn’t get away quick enough. And also the attitude from the guy behind the bar wasn’t very nice. At the end of the day nobody even bothered to come over and actually apologise about the hair in the sausage so we just left.

We had a wonderful breakfast experience. Emma gave us first class service and was very helpful as we are disabled people. Thank you Emma.

Amazing roast dinner. We go out for roasts alot round london, and here is very tasty. Upgrade for more meat. Price and service also very good

Popped in for lunch, been here a good few times but tried the katsu curry today & thought it deserved a review. Never had it before, but it was lovely. Waitress was good banter, everything was good as always! Menu also tells you the calories in everything, which I appreciate.

Another visit to this family friendly restaurant with my family for dinner. Greeted by Martin the manager who knew our names and took us to our table where he handed over to Hannah to look after us. It was a very busy Saturday night in the restaurant but Martin and his team were fantastic and there was no wait time and our meals were cooked to our liking and were delicious. Thank you for great service and delicious meals and will be back soon. J x

Had dinner here on Friday evening - not quite as good as usual, unfortunately. I eat here with family & friends reasonably often (despite the suburb we live in apparently being one of the largest in Europe, the lack of choice for eating out locally is abysmal!) & the customer service can't be faulted, it's superb, but we both had fish & chips & decided our dishes just weren't up to the usual standard - we both felt that both the fish & the chips were somewhat over-cooked. I meant to mention it at the time, but we were busy catching up. This recent outing would definitely not stop me eating here, & given that managers & waiting staff seem to remember me from previous visits, & we always have a lovely chat (especially with the gentleman to whom I have recommended a local Turkish restaurant & he keeps promising me he'll go, which makes us both chuckle) I may mention our experience this time, as feedback is always asked for & I am sure acted upon.

Food was ok Altho poor portion sizes especially the chicken breadt burger & chips Service ok not v attentive had to go find server to ask for desserts & the bill. Landed up going to the bar to pay Walking through the carpark we were aware of some individual smoking an untoward smelling cigarette?? ( drugs) Can't say will be back

I’m not one for leaving reviews but on this occasion I just had too!!! I must say the young manager Martin that was on was just outstanding, from the start to the end of our visit. He was very professional with a cheery smile and was very good with ensuring that everyone was well looked after and enjoying themselves, not just our table but everyone in the restaurant. His work ethic was just fantastic and he surely must be a great asset to the company??? My family and I have all said that if it wasn’t for Martin and his professional working ways they would not have had the best dining experience they have ever experienced in any restaurant before and we really wished that we were able to stay longer and experience more from Martin and his waiting staff, but we will definitely be back soon. Thank you Martin for making us all very happy and honoured to have met you. J x

Back up for a few weeks Sat in bar area and was on meal deal. Must compliment the young bar lady that was on, such a laugh, thought she was brilliant. Will be back in future.

Stayed there as was visiting Aberdeen for business. Can not comment on dinner as never went. Breakfast was excellent however and staff very attentive. Chef (I believe Jedra or Jindra) was very chatty and attentive and that’s very rare to see in the restaurants for chef to chat to guests- this impressed me very much! Food was great - premier inn breakfast is always the best!

I absolutely adored this restaurant! It was truly one of the most remarkable dining experiences I've ever had. The dinner was delightful, and the incredibly friendly lady who served us (unfortunately, I didn't catch her name) added to the pleasant atmosphere. In the morning, Jedra, the breakfast chef, was wonderfully chatty. The breakfast fare was top-notch and truly delicious. The only suggestion for enhancement would be to offer a wider variety of yogurt flavors as the selection was a bit limited. I wholeheartedly recommend this establishment to anyone seeking a fantastic dining experience!

Nice place but desperately needing upgrading. Lovely food. Service was ok but got a wee bit of attitude from the guy suggesting we should have booked and we would just have to sit at the bar. But as we ate, half the tables were empty so not sure what his point was about. Anyway, food was good.

We arrived with a big group of boys and parents after a football game. Sandwiches, chicken and drinks had been preordered for the boys and were delicious! Hats off to all the staff who also coped with the influx of food and drink orders from all the hungry parents and siblings!! Food was served quickly, was piping hot and really good quality. Just want give a mention to Claire & Marta for such a lovely friendly service. We visit most weekends for breakfast with our 3 children. Feel so relaxed and they alap eat free with our 2 adult meals. Went for breakfast with family and the service was fantastic! Claire and Craig welcomed us with a smile and were extremely friendly throughout our visit. The food was tasty and well stocked and was topped up/replaced multiple times during our visit. Will definitely be back as the breakfast is good, is good value for money and the staff are great!

Excellent service and an interesting menu. Drinks were reasonably priced and the tables were very clean and comfortable seating too.

We stayed 8 nights at the Premier Inn and parked at the Table Table car park, it is the same linked business and TT is responsible for a neat car park we heard…. We were welcomed by plastic sheets hanging in the trees… and it was there for all 8 days. Their car park has a ditch full of rubbish, like they tip their bins outside, litter everywhere, it looks like a tip. In India cows eat plastic, it looks like that and if this is their business card of caring for you, or good food, who wants to go in for a meal? The outside has rotten windows and it looks tired. Investment in people clearing the outside and ….keeping it tidy, plus a lick of paint would do a world of good to this place….

It was a very last minute arrangement for a Baby Shower for my Norwegian daughter in Law and 10 friends. I was absolutely delighted with how accommodating Martin the restaurant manager and his team were. Everything was perfect. The lovely area we were allowed to have and to decorate, the delicious and plentiful buffet they provided and the very very greatly priced bottles of Prosecco we enjoyed. All my guests and the mum to be had a fabulous time. I would 100% recommend the Mill of Mundurno. Any other small family event I have in the future will definitely be celebrated at the Mill.

Lovely meal and Ross who looked after us was very helpful. Polite and very pleasant. Food was very good. All the staff were very nice.

Food was amazing as always, very big portions and well worth the money. Would definitely recommend coming here you will not be disappointed. And a big shout out to Ross for looking after us and making sure that we had everything we needed.

We had a lovely Mother's Day lunch today. A lovely lady called Marta was our server and her service was second to none. Nothing was too much trouble and she was very polite and attentive. A real credit to Mill of Mundurno.

Got told this morning that you don't have the facility to do a hard boiled egg! When I questioned her she replied we don't have a pan 😂. What a joke. The menu clearly shows you do boiled eggs. Out of the all the hotels I've ever stayed in up and down the country, which I'll add i stay in 1 to 2 every week. This is the only one that doesn't have a pan. Saw the chef and asked him if he has any pans and he said am sorry she had just started doing breakfasts, but again this was a lie, Very poor service and poor lies!! Complained directly to manager later that day as it really did get my backup, she was very understanding and apologised.

My fourth and undoubtedly final visit to TABLE TABLE MILL OF MUNDURNO in Aberdeen this Christmas was a profound disappointment. Each visit has been less impressive than the last, and this experience was particularly disheartening. The food was deeply unsatisfactory. The starters resembled something akin to children’s cooking: basic, unimaginative, and lacking in any culinary creativity. The main course continued this trend, being overcooked, flavorless, and quite frankly, awful. It’s disconcerting to witness such disregard for quality, especially during a festive season. Even the desserts, which one usually looks forward to, were a letdown. Far from the sweet, indulgent experience one expects, they were bland and lacked the basic essence of what makes a dessert enjoyable. Adding to the culinary disappointment was the subpar service. The staff, especially the Manager, seemed uninterested in their roles, showing a dismaying lack of enthusiasm and concern for customer satisfaction. This apathy was evident in every aspect of the service we received. Given this experience, I regretfully advise others to avoid this establishment. Aberdeen boasts many other dining venues where the quality of both food and service far exceeds what is offered at TABLE TABLE MILL OF MUNDURNO.

All 4 members of our family had 3 course meals which were excellent, no complaints. Was served by Emma this evening who was super. Gave us our desert recommendations and the cheesecakes were 10/10. Would recommend.

Emma was very polite and was excellent and patient with our younger ones who weren’t sure of what deserts to choose. We look forward to coming back in December as we have been informed of some new Christmas drinks and cocktails! 👍

Shocking service. A group of 4 of us arrived at 5pm and because we hadn’t booked, we were made to feel very unwelcome and it was all quite awkward and embarrassing so we left and spent our money somewhere where we were made to feel like appreciated paying guests.

Was in yesterday with my hubby for lunch, first time we have tried here. The staff member was super friendly and the food was amazing. Would definitely recommend coming in past for food.
