Yet another great pizza delivered on time and warm! Just one to warn you the spicy chicken is spicy!!

I am so impressed with this take away! We have been here in Airdrie for 18 months so have tried a few take away. I love their fish in batter, delicious! Yesterday I had chip shop curry sauce, the best I’ve tasted. Hot and spicy like a real curry. Delivery is fast and drivers friendly. Highly recommended!

Just had a baked potato cheese n pineapple. Opened box, tottie black, flat and greasy. £5.85 really? Went in bin, never again.

We’ve been to Milano’s before and the food and service were decent. This time it wasn’t so good and this was the second chance to get it better. There seemed to be plenty of staff on shift but perhaps lacking in chefs? My 9 month old was last to be served and I had to remind staff members on three separate occasions that we were still waiting on her veggies. Eventually it was a manager who got it for her. By this point she’s pretty much filled up on garlic bread. We also waited a very long time on second drinks and some of the kids didn’t get their second drinks at all. We ordered by 6 but by the time we got to the desserts it was after 8pm which was just too late for them. This meant they didn’t get their ice creams and we didn’t get the chance to order desserts either. The staff were polite and friendly but the overall flow of the evening was slow. The food was very tasty but the evening was a bit of a let down. Price is good on the lunch menu for the 2/3 courses but I think it’s very expensive on the ALC menu.

Recieved a takeaway from milanos tonight and I have to say we were really disappointed. We had heard some good reviews but unfortunately we weren't impressed. The fritters were luke warm and chewy, the half fried pizza was hard and difficult to eat and the sausage was really greasy. I mean I know we've ordered from a fast food outlet and its obviously not healthy in the slightest but we still didn't expect such luke warm greasy food. We dont have a chippy very often and when we do again it wont be from here. Senors in cairnhill is far superior, everything is prepeard fresh and is definitely not greasy. I hate to leave bad reviews but its was not good.

No need for a long winded review Milanos is a good chip shop,it's clean the staff are pleasant and efficient and most of all the food is good .Their standards were high from the start and they have maintained that .I like them .

We have ordered several times from this place and it was OK but the last time everything was terrible. To begin with, I ordered supper fish and my partner chose calzone. It took about an hour to deliver our order and I had to phone them up for three times. Fish was dry and tasteless while my husband was complaining about his almost empty and stone dry calzone! called to complain but manager was rude so I never think about going back there!

We have never had a bad meal from Milanos. My husband loves their chips - and he's really fussy about them - but they are well cooked. For good value we get the chippy box which has a selection of fish, chips, pizza, sausage, burger, fritters and chicken nuggets.

Love this wee chippy. Amazing food and outstandjng cleanliness! Never go to any other! Brill selection including calzones, and evfn equis icecream / milkshakes.

order a single battered Haddock and Special Haddock Supper through their website. I have used them before and was fairly happy about the quality but wouldn't rave about it, with fish often a bit dry, but the ability to order in advance is handy and it is close by. Picked the food up after a short wait and went home, a journey of only three or four minutes at most. Food looked OK but this was positively the worst food I have tasted in a long while, the chips were cold and greasy and the fish dry and tasteless, I suspect it may have been sitting for some time and re-fried. Both my wife and I binned it and settled for something from the freezer. This is a mediocre establishment going downhill and I couldn't in all honesty recommend Milanos to anyone given that there are other similar establishments close by.

Phoned up ordered 3 meals Wife collected it within 15 minutes ,2 were good ,mine was terrible. The fish was not fresh cooked ( haddock ). The fish was so over cooked it was really dry and the batter at the end of the two pieces was inedible. It went in the bin, last time I order anything from there, it annoys me why they did not give out lovely moist fish....guttered.

My family called for a delivery and we asked if it would take long, we were told we were the first delivery to go, so after the half hour we called back and we were told driver had left a few min before we called,so we waited another 15 mins and called back they tried to say that they were prob held up with traffic. Bearing in mind the guy mustn't have looked at the address as we are a 5 min drive with traffic. Just after the driver chaps the door and when explained about the situation he said he had just left the shop 2 mins prior. Poor guy got the brunt of the annoyance. I took the delivery in and the woman that took the order didn't put down the full order and we were 1 meal short. I'm just glad we weren't charged for it or I probably would have waited more than half an hour for the rest of the food. We regularly go to this chip shop but I think I'll be giving it a miss. Food wasn't that hot either. Instead of fobbing a customer off with any excuse they should just say if the delivery hasn't left rather than pass the buck to the driver it's very unprofessional.

Ordered at 5pm was told we were he only delivery and we were only round he corner. Phoned back at 5.40 to see of left yet and was told yes, at 5.55 the shop owner said the delivery driver had left more than 10 minutes ago and wasnt too pleasant as we queried if it had left when said it would be here as we are literally 2 mins away. When the driver came he told us that he had only just left the shop. Only ordered single battered fish, 1 special fish, portion fritters and 1 kids meal......needless to say the special fish had missed out so we phoned back and the guy said we'll u weren't charged for it so no problem......Yes he problem is one person has done without a meal, that being my 86 year old grans meal that was missed out. Very poor service, no ownership for their own mistakes. As a regular customer won't be back and won't be recommending. Go to bennys in future !

Got a roll and fritter and it was cold and solid as a rock. Service was average and the only enjoyable part was the ice cream.

The food is terrific as the restaurant has several chefs from Italy. We were watied upon by two lovely, twin sisters who could not have been more friendly or helpful. They were keenly interested in our travels through Scotland. A great experience.

Great special fish supper from here. Breadcrumbs were really good and size of fish was huge.

Food is always delicious and freshly cooked. Good value for money. Attend this restaurant often, and have never been disappointed! Would highly recommend!

Had a very nice wrap from here for lunch. Bbq chicken wrap. The only bad point ill say about here is the price. It does seem quite expensive for a chip shop but as the quality was good i didnt mind.

Went in to milanos restaurant Cumbernauld for gift vouchers for my parents. I purchased £30 worth and was astounded to be changed 50p for the envelope that the vouchers went in. What a joke

best fish supper in airdrie and coatbridge by far they also do a mean americano burger that is huge and u probably couldnt eat it by yourself

This had been our second visit here the menu has something on it for everybody's taste some things I feel are a bit pricey but not too bad the staff are very welcoming and friendly which makes a good atmosphere

I have been using Milanos since it opened. Quality is still excellent, food is fantastic and great value for money. Delivery service is excellent. All staff are friendly including the drivers. I disagree with former review that chips are reheated. That is simply not true.

The fish is normally freshly cooked, with great crispy batter, and the chips are delicious. Not the cheapest but is better than all the local shops in the area. Order online and get 10% off, so thats worth bearing in mind if you plan a visit. Also does pizzas and the like, although I've never tried anything other than the chip shop food. Also has a massive selection of ice cream.

First time having food from here and it was delish!! We ordered our food online which so easy. Would recommend this to anyone. Will definitely be getting food from here great value for money.

I have tried both lunch time and later in the day and there fish and steak pie are very nice tasty and have picked up my order and had it delivered both were excellent friendly staff and there ice cream flavours are a must to try

Think this placewill start getting really busy soon as the quality of food is vert good. Shame its in that wee car park as it would put you off stopping by. Far too busy because of the tesco.

Have to disagree with some off the previous reviews. Its the second time I have had a takeaway from this chip shop, and have to say both times the chips were reheats and tasted awful.

Super hot and fresh food. Some of the best flavoured fish around. Friendly staff though salt and vinegar is the norm in these parts not "salt and sauce". Will use again.

Finally a decent takeaway in Clarkston. Milanos use 100% solidified vegetable oil to fry with and their batter is the best. Oven baked pizzas are excellent too and their delivery service is quick and reasonably priced. Cannot recommend highly enough.
