Milano's in Calderdale

We fancied a pizza and drove by on our way into Brighouse. There’s an extensive menu available. We had a takeaway mushroom and ham and it was very tasty. Nicely prepared. We will return! A plus was there is roadside parking right outside.

Fab choice of food good quality, can be a long delivery time when they are busy but it’s always worth the wait. Delivery people are friendly and professional.

Just been to this take away for one large donna, ne medium donna and one chips. Whilst ordering the server actually told me off for ordering not ordering the wrong way, how many ways can you order 2 donna and chips in pitta bread (honestly) very arrogant guy, on arrival at home only to find 2 donna meat and chips and no pitta. Whilst waiting observed the cook with no hair net or beard net and no hand hygiene at all, will not visit this establishment again but may call the EHO

As a regular customer for several years, I was absolutely appalled by the shabby, rude and frankly UNACCEPTABLE ATTITUDE on the phone whilst trying to place an order. I had noticed over the weeks that the food was going down hill at a fast rate, as was the appalling phone manner. I can honestly say I will NEVER step foot in this over priced establishment again(which varied from week to week).

The pizzas I ordered ended up in the bin, they were awful, tasteless and dripping in fat. My daughter asked to get pizza from here however after a bad experience I would avoid this place at all costs.

We order take-away from Milano's regularly, and have done for a couple of years. We use the Just Eat app and then the food is delivered to your door. We often have favourites like grilled chicken salad (if I'm trying to be good) and kebabs (my partner's), sometimes pizzas. Food always delicious and delivered cheerily and promptly.

I ordered a pizza, Burger, and a Kebab onion rings etc.. through Hungry House. When I unwrapped the food I just threw it all in the bin !!! Totally disgusting !!! French fries were soggy with grease as were the onion rings, burger was the same and the pizzas looked like frozen ones you get in the supermarket.

We get deliveries from here about twice a week and it's definitely one of our favourites. After our initial issue of them finding us (on a new development) the service is now speedy and friendly.

I was going to complain about how bad Milanos service was after tonight.. but as there are soo many bad comments.. I think its safe to say that I totally agree.. 1 hour 30 minute wait.. 2 meals ordered only 1 came. Called back.. barely understandable, cancelled the order and they called me to say they are outside half an hour later. Absolutely appalling!!!!

Two pizzas ordered through Just Eat, and this place failed in every way. We had to wait over an hour and a half, the guy promised to call us with an update when we chased and he did not. I could not place the ingredients in my pizza - beetroot might have featured? - which did not qualify as thin crust either. My friend's pizza was little better. The free garlic bread we qualified for was not included either - but judging from the quality of the pizza that may be blessing in disguisd. In a word, awful.

I wouldn't recommend this place in a million years! The food quality is terrible! Not only did they get the order wrong but after numerous phonecalls and another half an hour wait they finally brough the correct food, cold! Not worth it at all waste of money!!

Total crap from this place.ignorant self centred staff. Quality of food cheap and rubbish. Poor poor poor poor poor all roun. Take orders fail onquality.

We have just ordered from here for the first time in a while. It was a family favourite until now (it changed hands at one point and was brilliant before in the previous owners hands). Ordered off hungry house and selected donna meat....no mention of chips at all. Selected chilli sauce and put a comment to say large tray with cheese on top of meat. Anyway it took 1hr 5 mins to deliver. When we got it we had got donna meat and chips....so thought I best ring them to say they had sent us donna meat and chips to see if they could send what we ordered. There was hardly any donna meat in it as it was all crammed in with chips. I phoned them back and the person who answered couldn't understand me at all...I was trying to say I had just had a takeaway delivered and he was asking what I wanted to order?!?!? I then had to repeat myself several times I had already had it delivered but they had sent the wrong order and sent chips. He then said no we have sent you cheese...He just wasn't understanding me. He said he will call me back when the driver got back. He then phoned my husbands phone which we didn't call from and haven't done for about 18 months to start telling me off that u hadn't paid £2 for cheese!!!! I was fuming the driver walked off and didn't ask for any money - I had paid by debit card so if no one tells me I owe £2 how can I know!! I said to him he had sent me chips instead of all donna meat and he just laughed and said 'take the chips out' don't bother ordering from them. To top it all off the food is awful and we left more than half of it. So all my money bought me was rubbish food and put me in a foul mood after how me spoke to me.

We haven't eaten from milanos for over a year as it always gave us bad stomachs the next day after eating the pizzas. So we thought we shall try it again. Called the order in at 7pm.. 8:15pm comes, no pizza, my husband called up and they said "oh it should have been delivered". He said he'd call the driver. 8:35 still no pizza. Called again, they said he was on his way. 8:45 pizza arrives. Pay over £15 for it. Open the boxes which were 2 small pizza's, a garlic bread, 2 chips and onion rings.. All STONE COLD!! was not happy. We called them and they said they'd send us new pizzas but it would be an hour so I demanded the driver came back and brought our money and take the food back. We had to call three times for them to eventually come back with our money. The driver stood in the doorstep and said there's a bite out of this I'm not giving you your money back. Where I stated one bite to taste and feel it was stone cold, out of 2 pizzas, G bred and sides was not a good enough reason not to refund me. He threw the money at me and shouted abuse at me on my doorstep. Very unacceptable. That one bite turned my tummy all night just as a year before where we would spend hours in the bathroom. Disgusting and would not recommend at all. Avoid people at all costs.

Whilst at a friends house we selected this takeaway from the JustEat website to give the place a chance. One hour and 20 minutes after ordering, the food still hadn't arrived and needless to say we were disappointed. I contacted Milanos via telephone to try and get an update, but had the phone hung up on me twice and then four further calls went unanswered. Once I called back from a different number they answered and said that they were just cooking the food and it should be delivered within 20 minutes (the shop is only a three minute drive from where we were)When the food eventually arrived, part of the order had been missed but we had been charged via JustEat for everything. The food that did arrive was OK, hence giving a 2star rating.Overall, very dissatisfied and we won't be using again.
