We ate at Milan Lounge to celebrate my birthday. The service was attentive but not pushy, with time in between courses. The curries were excellent and the cheese naan was the best I have ever had! A surprise ice cream dessert on the house for my birthday rounded off a delicious meal. We were made to feel spoilt and I can’t wait to go again!

My family came here for a birthday meal and had a good experience. The location has plenty of parking and seating. The food was plentiful and delicious. The service was 5* and the staff were chatty and quick with any requests we have. They were also helpful with one of our party who had crutches and they were accomodating. Would definitely come here again.

The food was absolutely amazing, the sides and curries were some of the best I’ve ever had! Our waiters, Raz and Sal were amazing and the customer service was impeccable. Raz even custom made a curry for me as I can be quite picky and Sal showed us some magic tricks, will definetly be returning!!

Milan Lounge is great. Always have amazing food and service. They look after their customers well and the portion size is fab. We are always stuffed afterwards.Our deliveries are always freshly cooked and nice and hot. Food is so good that we have been using Milan Lounge only for over a year and a half now. I have tried many of the dishes from Milan Lounge and they are all tasty, flavourful and worth ordering again and again. My favourite is Milan Jaipure which is medium, slightly sweet and a good balance of spices. It's not got many veg but this suits me. My second favourite is the Lamb Modhu Minty which is like a Sunday roast lamb with mint sauce combined with a curry sauce, again slightly sweet but so yummy. My third favourite was the Shahi Lamb Shank for a perfectly balanced curry with fall off the bone lamb. If you don't like slightly sweet curries then this would be your favourite. My sister loves the Rogan Josh from here which is tasty but too mild for me. The Rangela Khana is a tasty spinach curry but slightly bitter so not one of my top choices. The Shatkora is a nice choice if you like a punch of lime for a sharp and bitter kick. Garlic lovers should go for the Garlic chilli chicken for a very nice, garlicky medium curry with lots of garlic cloves in it. I didn't like the Honey Roasted Murgh Suganda as it was as sweet as a Korma but with a medium kick. Tasty but too sweet for my liking. The Shashlick Bhuna was also nice. I loved the Nargis kebab which is like an Indian flavoured scotch egg with a wafer thin omelette on top (I didn't eat the omelette as it was too much but the Indian scotch egg was divine and a highly recommended starter. I hope this helps people choose their curry. Make sure you expect delays on busy nights like New Year's Eve during lockdown and use Tiffin Tom for an automatic discount. The fabulous team at Milan lounge do deliver, but I regularly collect as it’s 5 minutes down the road. The food is always excellent, the staff always smiling and happy and it’s the best Indian restaurant locally near Shifnal. I’ve tried several dishes, all of which have their own great unique taste, but my favourite is the Jalfrezi, it’s got a kick - but it’s incredible.Keep up the great work team!

My partner and I ordeared food for collection on the 17th December and I must say the food was beautiful. Very well cooked and prepared dinners, served hot. I can't wait to return and try more of their house specialities. We ordered a chicken Rogan Josh and a Shashlick Bhuna with a Milan Special Rice (YES!) and a pillau rice. Both are delicious. Service was great.

Milan lounge fantastic food and brilliant staff, booked a table with no issues at short notice. Tried the Bengal Murgh Massala along with the milan special rice which was served hot and tested delicious. Would highly recommend milan lounge for social or business visits as the place is spacious and relaxed while maintaining professional manner.

Milan lounge is a beautiful place to eat, the decor is tasteful and the furniture is comfortable. There is plenty of parking so there is no worry to leaving your car in a safe place whilst you eat. The staff are all polite, respectful and delightful which gives such a wonderful atmosphere for the restaurant. The food is unbelievable! I cannot explain how delicious the food is! It’s worth every penny spent and completely hits the spot! I’ve never tasted an Indian so amazing, it’s hot, fresh and a true taste sensation! If you haven’t tried it then you are missing out!

We went as a group of 16 (football team) split into tables of 4 to meet the current guidelines. The service was brilliant and the food was amazing, 100% would go back here. Good atmosphere too and even sang happy birthday to one of our players.

Absolutely superb place for a meal. The best i've tried & i eat a lot of indian food from all over the place. Staff are friendly and welcoming. Been 4 times now & it's been amazing everytime. It's good value for money aswell so would recommend to anybody! the 5 star reviews are obviously genuine, as is mine! give it a try.

Our first visit to the Milan Lounge, but definitely not the last. Located a couple of miles outside Shifnal, it's suitable for a planned evening that you have to drive to, rather than a casual drop in after a walk around the town.That said, it's worth the drive, as the food and service are both excellent and the prices are reasonable compared to similar restaurants.

We chose to visit because the reviews online were good. We arrived at 8.30 on a Sunday evening and the car park was almost empty. I had second thoughts, but we had really struggled to find somewhere to eat the night before as most places seem to be closing early and limiting guests due to covid 19.I'm so glad we decided to give it a go. The staff were charming and funny, the food absolutely delicious. Excellent value for money. I'm just sorry that we live almost two hours away. If we are back this way again I will definitely go back.

I found this gem after a friend told me about it and I haven’t stopped going only regret I have is not going here before . Raj and his staff Always makes us feel welcome and can’t do enough for us . We try and get there at least once a week , food is the best by far . Never ever had a bad meal from here . If you have never been here you won’t be disappointed. Lovely place

I returned to Milan lounge since moving away 18 months ago. Food and service amazing as always. I ordered the chicken tikka madras and it was lovely. The staff can't do enough for you and always made to feel very welcome. I will be returning again very soon.

Nice food, tables well spaced out (covid wise). Nice decor. I’d say ‘good’ rather than ‘very good’, but that could be because we weren’t familiar with their menu/food.Went in the week so it was quiet which suited us as we’d had a busy day and wanted a quiet meal.The waiter that served us first was friendly and efficient and professional.There was another waiter that came to the table a few times-he was more chatty.Later more people came in, who he clearly knew, they seemed to have lots of regulars- a good sign.

We have just been out for date night. We had the chicken sashlik and garlic prawn starters. This was followed by the Goan Lamb and Monk fish mains. The presentation it fantastic with lots of attention to detail. The starters were fantastic and not too much. The mains were so good. The Goan lamb tasted exactly like a Goan dish should and the monkfish was just amazing. Highly recommended.

Been to the Millan Lounge lots of times but tonight it was my daughters 32nd birthday we all had the best food ever five star plus. The food was delivered to our house - hot, fresh and so delicious. Great service.

Wonderful food, with the restaurant being a little quiet we really got what felt like a personal, friendly service. Food was amazing and cooked tailored to how I liked it, using a mix of my favourite meats with the perfect spice. A little out the way of the town Shifnal, but well worth the short journey.

I came here with my family on Friday night, and what can I say from outside it looks like a run down factory with weeds all around I asked my father is this ok and he said he’s heard good things about this place...Walked inside to see an array of strange informal scruffy looking waiters who were not happy to be working. Took our drinks orders and poppadums came which were stale. Sauces were nothing special I wasn’t to happy at this point and could see my father realising his mistake in choosing this place. All four curries tastes exactly the same and were watery.Did try and complain however the waiter had a problem understanding us however asking for the bill he had no problem in understanding.Toilets were a disgrace. Needs knocking down and redoing. Absolute shambles.

As far as take away goes, this place is the real deal. Ordered a few times now, and the consistency is second to none. Piping hot food delivered ever time, in a timely manner. The food itself is brimming with quality, fresh herbs and spices popping through each and every dish. I've just had a Rogan Josh, which was delicately balanced with chilli, not too much to ruin a Balti and not too little to make it insignificant. Poppadoms are fresh, Naan is fresh and the home made bright green Raita is a treasure in itself. I would recommend one rice between two as the portions are large and worthwhile, but please if you live in the area and enjoy this style food, visit this place and I will personally guarantee you will not be dissatisfied.

Absolutely AMAZING.This is the first time I have ordered from here as i normally have a regular Indian that I already use in Shifnal! BUT I ordered at 5.30 & asked for my curry to just have a little extra spice! Arrived just after 6, cheap as chips and really fast service. Also had chucked in some onion barjis & popadoms FREE of charge. Thanks Raju. Will defiantly be ordering again

I ordered from Milan lounge as I’m new to the area, the gentleman on the phone was very patient whilst I had troubles with phone signal. I ordered my meal and because it was a decent sized order, he applied a discount for us. However there was a few minute delay On collection and due to the hot weather, the owner came and apologised and offered me a refreshment whilst I waited. The food was delicious and portions were generous and very well priced! You will definitely have a repeat customer out of me!

Milan longe is Are best please to eat even tho how things are with Covid we wasn’t missing out on there amazing food raj hope chef amazing food we can’t eat in now so we have bein having take aways and they are just as good as eating in there I didn’t think was possible.Can’t wait for the doors to reopen and not only have amazing food but to see raj and the team agen so nice grate place very entertaining grate people weather it’s a meal with the family or a birthday group booking for a nice bit of food and drinks you really can’t go rong see you soon guys.

We always order our curry from Milan lounge and we are never disappointed! We ordered a curry last night and it was top quality, it tasted so fresh and flavoursome. They even gave us some free onion bahjis with our order! Also when you order popadoms you get all the dips you would expect in a restaurant. We get our curry delivered no trouble at all too. Highly recommended!

Having heard some very positive reviews and favourable reviews from friends and family and following their Facebook page we thought we’d place an order during ‘Lockdown’ as a birthday treat from Milan Lounge. As a family, we’re always very sceptical of food from new places and we are quite specific asking for certain changes (such as as little oil as possible in dishes). This was of no trouble and my word did they excel!. The meal was delivered very quickly by the most polite gentleman (also exceptionally helpful when we rang the order) - but the meal itself???!!!Wow. Seriously, one of the best meals we can honestly say we’ve had. Cooked to our liking perfectly and perfection. The only complaint is I didn’t have enough room to eat it all that evening owing to the generous portion sizes. Much to my wife’s disapproval I had a lovely bowl of Dhansak for breakfast the next day. Breakfast of champions I say!. Without doubt We will be back in the very near future and look forward to booking a table with yourselves once lockdown is over. Thankyou so much for a memorable, enjoyable meal. 10/10. Perfect

We all enjoyed our takeaway which was delivered very promptly we had a number of different dishes including a vegetarian korma and all were great with good size portions, a big thank to Raj. It wont be long before we order again.

Second time Milan lounge have messed us around with our order. Attempted to give them a second chance tonight and screwed us over again. Waiting 2 hour for food now and not even left. Starving, no food and still hasn’t left the restaurant. Avoid this place!
