Mijan Balti Hut in Birmingham

im usually a big fan of Mijan's but the curries where mild when I requested desi style

Extremely poor delivery service today! Almost 30 minutes late and still no driver to be seen!

I recently ordered from Mijan Balti Hut and I have to say, it was by far one of the most delicious fantastic experience. The food arrived promptly, still hot and fresh, which is always a plus. I ordered a bunch of dishes including Chicken Tikka Achari, Mixed Vegetable Curry and 2 different Biryani’s they were all outstanding and absolutely delicious. The flavors were vibrant and the portion size was generous. What really stood out was the attention to detail in the packaging; everything was secure and there were no spills. All dishes were perfectly cooked ingredients that made each bite a delight! 👌🏼 Overall, I highly recommend Mijan Balti Hut for anyone looking for restaurant quality food delivered right to their doorstep. I can't wait to order again! 😁

Took over an hour to come and then was cold no sorry nothing ! Won’t be ordering again

Ordered from here for the first time tonight, as we have been using another indian takeaway for sometime - so after looking at reviews this came up the best one, food arrived on time and it all was delicious all of us was happy with the order- think we have found our new favourite takeaway

Had to wait a bit longer than I would have liked, but it was certainly worth it. Food was hot, well good and delicious.

Live less than a five min drive and food always take 1.5 hour minimum . Shame as food is nice but prob won’t order again for a long while at least

Update: since posting last review below have used again and will say everything has really improved, obviously the online ordering has been updated, food arrived within time slot allocated and was delicious 👍👍 Used online delivered 1 hour before time slot wanted - food nowhere near as good as preciously had :( plus the online offer of 20% off not accepted (2 stars 3 yrs ago)

We ordered yesterday after a very long time through there website although from past experience I use to order alot before and always found it very delicious and tasty. Yesterday we had quite a big order but once again I was very impressed and pleased with everything I ordered it was cooked to perfection and we thoroughly enjoyed the meal. The balti dishes and starters very fresh. Bursting with flavours, mouth watering, from one person to another everyone saying to me where did you order this from its really nice :) Customer service was spot on and the delivery driver was very humble and friendly. Thank you for your service. I will be ordering more often.

Arrived approx 60 mins but we know that they take time food always tasty and hot would recommend delivery driver good waited for me to get to the door !

Food was very nice, a good level of spice which I like, chicken in the curries was juicy and tender very fresh, pastry on somosa light and crispy. Food did take a while to be delivered however it was probably one of their busiest times on a Saturday night and it was much later than the estimated time. When it arrived the food was hot and the guy who delivered was nice and polite. I would recommend ordering from here. Enjoyed our meal.

Me and my family been using this Balti house for 20 plus years always my go to favourite. Like the fact the staff still there years later! Can't understand complaints if you want great tasting balti it takes time to cook otherwise ends up just like the rest of the rush to put up places!

Always use this restaurant. Never been disappointed. Consistently a high quality of food and service.

Food was excellent! very fresh and tasty, and delivered early

The chicken and chips were little unappetising, however the curries were top tier, last time I ordered the vindaloo was mid, this time around it was exactly how it should be, very hot and very smooth. If you're looking for proper curry, spicy or not this is definitely a place to consider, pricy but you get what you pay for.

My first order and def not my last 😍 Mxd tandoori grill moist and tasty. Pakora a real treat, samosas a little small but otherwise excellent. Mix of breads all good and sag aloo great. Everything fresh and hot. 5* overall.❤️

food was nice overall. I had a message saying it was on its way about 35 minutes before it arrived. so although it wasn't cold, it wasn't hot either.

Food is really good quality. Curry was great, naan was good size and really well cooked. Mint sauce was amazing too. Service really friendly over the phone and from the driver.

If I could give zero stars I would. The sheek kebabs were awful. Dry. Overly salty and an odd red colour. I’m not even sure they are meat as they tasted more like rehydrated soya protein. The chicken shashlik was a tiny portion for the price and under seasoned. The Briyan was the only reasonablely edible item but again tiny portion for the price. Overall OVER PRICED AND DREADFUL.

Food arrived hot (despite being 35 mins late), and very well cooked. Paneer Rogan Josh was very tasty, well spiced and not at all greasy. Veg pilau rice very good. Saag aloo excellent. Really good naans, softer than the usual takeaway naans which can get a bit tough, yet cooked perfectly. Shame about the delay or this would have had another star. Definitely one to try, food is great. Just request delivery 15 minutes earlier than you want it!

Lovely food just arrived later than when the order was placed. Time pushed back by 15 mins however, driver apologised and food was good so happy in the end
