A very welcome addition to the Highbury restaurant scene , I had the Lamb Kebab with plain rice and wow - The rice , often ignored , was a delight . Kebabs were juicy and flavoursome… writing the review makes me want to revisit . It’s a winner

Good spot for a nice lunch or dinner. Great food, portions are big and friendly service. Has entertainment so can watch sports and BYOB is a bonus. Will be back with more friends and family.

Stumbled across this new local gem. Never was a fan of Afghan food personally as I had previous bad experiences, however, I thought I'll give this new restaurant a chance. I was very pleasantly surprised, the food tasted fresh, menu was full of choices, restaurant was spotless and the service was phenomenal. I will definitely visit again to try the rest of the items on the menu. Highly recommend this place.

Mihan is one of my favourite dinner spots for delicious Afghan food. It’s a family-run restaurant and they get the food and service right every time. I haven’t tried everything, but definitely recommend the lamb chops, kabuli pilau, kebabs, and mango lassi. I always look forward to returning because I know I’ll have a great experience and leave with a full and happy belly!

Had the pleasure of trying Mihan today, and it was an absolute delight! The flavors and spices used in the dishes were exceptional, creating a unique and unforgettable taste. The Chapli kebabs were tender and juicy, bursting with savory goodness. The rice was a perfect balance of textures and aromas, making each bite a journey of culinary bliss. The naan was warm, fluffy, and served with a variety of mouthwatering dips. The hospitality and service at the restaurant were top-notch, adding to the overall wonderful dining experience. I can't wait to go back and indulge in more of this incredible cuisine! Highly recommended!

Excellent. Fresh food, large portions, delicious. Meat and rice are the stars but more than enough on the menu to satisfy vegetarians. Halal. The dining area a bit austere perhaps but no matter. A family owned and run restaurant in what historically has been a difficult spot. Really deserves to succeed.

An outstanding experience, the kebab platter was a highlight with its flavourful and tender meat. A definite 5-star for delivering authentic Afghan cuisine.
