Wonderful kebab meal with generous portion size. The only downside was the loud music otherwise good location and delicious 😋 halal food.

Food was good but look like is not cooking at same time as some bits on plate have been Cold .. Other then that all good

Managment; please take onboard all the feedback so you can suceed further. We were part of a huge group of 22 from London. This appears to be one of the only Turkish places in the area hencewhy it is atrociously expensive, they need some healthy competition because they are making too much money comfortably, whilst not caring about standards etc, pricing on menu is not well thought out e.g. platter #1 is £30, #2 is £60 whilst #3 is £90, there is no savings if you buy bigger platters, not enough meat items for the platters. Platter 2 and 3 should be a little less such as #2 should be £55.00 and #3 should be £78.00. The two waitresses were extremely patient, professional and friendly as we had loads of kids running around, they even gave them free lollipops - thank you 😊 The taste wasnt all that and most Turkish restaurants ive been to are normally really acommodating with free bread, salad and sauces, management may need to rethink their menu and pricing to make it more worthwhile to visit here or else it wont make customers want to revisit. Upstairs is really nice with decor and it also has a balcony area from where you can relax & view the main market and passers by as well as the main beach shop front off main road. We spent roughly £114, glad they had card payment option. For parking I would encourage people who will spend more than 5 hours to park at a private plot called Raynscourt Car Park off Marine Parade. Only £10 for the entire day so you can enjoy your whole day stress free.

Nice little restaurant that accommodated a group of 22. Staff were polite and patient as we had children playing around. Food price isn’t the greatest value for money but due to location it’s understandable. Very convenient location but parking is £10 a day at Euston road bed and breakfast car park or £3 per hour. Free parking on the street after 6. In London there is always complimentary salad, bread and sauces which wasn’t the case in this restaurant.

Large family of us from London attended Great Yarmouth for a weekend break . Excited & Hungry we needed Halal food , quick search popped up Migi. Menu prices was extortionate as no competitions in the area for Halal restaurants. Atmosphere felt Turkish, but sometimes they changed music to hip hop , decor was great ! Food took little longer as expected due to large order over 20 heads . We ordered 4x of £11.50 meal - Half pounder double was absolutely delicious meal , I have to admit. Chicken burger was dry & on very small side even though it wasn’t a kids meal , also cost £11.50. My children’s ordered milk shakes , didn’t taste great and was too soft . We ordered later £30 platter with shish kebabs & Turkish rice varieties, taste just wasn’t there unfortunately & portion size was not the greatest! The two female staff on above floor served us was great with amazing customer services & also gave out free lollipops to all our children’s . Place is spacious & has open terrace with amazing View . Total food bill paid was £104.50p

Thought this would be a great option for our family outing, unfortunately it falls short in a number of areas. The platter menu is weird, we ordered platter 1 which comes with 2 of everything apart from a lamb chop which is only one piece. Are a couple supposed to share one lamb chop between themselves? No complimentary bread and salad as found in other traditional Turkish places. Pricing is very high for the amount of food and does not come with bulgar (yellow) rice. Drinks heavily overpriced. Milkshake was nice and food tasted OK, not fantastic. Management seem very tight on the menu. Staff were excellent and tried their best but unless management improve things, it is not a recipe for success - I would not go back nor recommend them unless you have no other option.

Ate at this place over the weekend. Food was average. They do not provide complimentary bread, sauces, salad and Turkish tea like other Turkish places. The pricing in this restaurant was expensive, the platters don’t come with enough food. The waitress was very patient and attentive. Have to pay for parking if visiting before 6pm.

The restaurant was playing traditional Turkish music for a short while after we arrived. It was abruptly replaced by thumping gangster hip-hop music, which utterly mutilated the Turkish vibe in exchange for something in line with a nasty, seedy urban backstreet club. A very confused identity. The minced kofte was dry and heavily laden with salt. The tomato and pepper were merely burnt on one side, as opposed to being thoroughly and evenly grilled. The biggest shock was in the fact that there was no authentic home made chilli sauce or garlic sauce. Just cheap plastic bottled preservative ridden sauces which are found in junk food outlets.

Iv always wanted to eat hear a friend recommended and we come every year so we actually did try, we didnt have time to eat in but we asked and we could order and take away and it was amazing Iv never eaten such tasty rice the salad, bread and chick shish was so good! I will definitely make this place a stop on my holiday everytime really really delicious! Me and my partner shared that one meal very generous portions! And really worth the experience!

Everything lacked taste. For a Turkish restaurant that don't make their own chilli sauce is a sin. They provided shop bought chicken shop chilli sauce. The chicken was very bland. The marinade lacked everything. Only have it a 2 star instead one one because the service was good.

Tbh food is average. Prices of food are too much as compared to quantity. Just one advice for the customers that whenever you order food for takeaway please check before leaving. I ordered adana kabab for takeaway which is around 19£ something, when i got home there was 1 and half kabab. Really disappointed.

Me and my boyfriend love turkish food, but we didn’t enjoy here , lamb smelt and tasted like fish,long wait for the food ,didn’t feel like freshly cooked at all.

Absolutely lovely restaurant, waitresses are very attentive, absolutely love Kristina, she is so good with my little one, good food cooked fresh with an open kitchen... Have eaten here lots, and every meal has been super. Hummus and pitta bread starter lush. Lamb and chicken shish spot on. Big portions , reasonably priced.

I have been to Migi Migi many times and always enjoyed the experience. This week however my opinion of this restaurant has changed. We ordered starters which were fine. Whilst we were still eating the starters the main course arrived. The waitress who brought it did not appear to understand English and could not understand that we had not finished and it was inappropriate to bring the dish so early. Another waitress said they could take it back to the kitchen. If it had gone back who knows what might have happened to it so we thought it was safer to accept it. The portion sizes are much smaller and most of the plate was bread, rice and salad. The meat is not the same quality either. We complained to the waitress that we felt rushed (there were 4 other people there so they didn't need the table in a hurry) especially as we had intended to have pudding, coffee and a bottle of wine. The waitress was very mouthy that it was the fault of the chef not hers. We decided not to stay and asked for the bill. We made it clear that we will not be back. Don't waste your time and money. Great Yarmouth has many great restaurants selling better food than this and with better service.

I do not recommend this place at all !!! Too expensive and food was really taste horrible and old , bad services , first things we seen the owner came tried to welcome us but he was drunk and couldn’t talk normally

Absolutely delicious chicken, rice and salad. Huge portion and extremely tasty! Lovely apple tea to go with it. Very impressed with the nice waitress and beautiful decor inside. Definitely coming back soon!

One of The best Turkish restaurant in Norfolk, I always return here with pleasure. It's situated near by the beach, it's just a few minutes walk ,the food is amazing and tasty and the service is excellent.

We had a one night stay in Great Yarmouth recently and struggled to find somewhere to eat. However we decided on Migi Migi and we're glad we did. Although we ate early so there wasn't a lot of people eating,other food we had was good We had the platter which was very tasty and freshly cooked. It was served with a lovely side salad which was also delicious. There was enough spice without it burning our mouths out. Staff were friendly. We'll go back again when we visit Yarmouth again

Excellent food, atmosphere and service. We came here early on a Friday and were made to feel so welcome. We shared pirzola, kusbasi sis and chicken sis and could not fault the food at all. The flavours were spot on, salads were wonderful and the rice and flatbread were wonderful with the meat juices soaked into them. The staff couldn’t have been friendlier, they stopped and talked but were never invasive. We chose to sit upstairs but there were no complaints or attempts to make us sit elsewhere. Cannot fault this restaurant and its staff at all, really don’t understand the other reviews but it’s like they’re talking about a different place.

Having been to quite a few Turkish & Greek Resturants this fell well below expectations... Plenty of food on the plate, rice and bread where good, salad seemed fresh BUT.... Meat was tasteless (Chicken and lamb!), it literally had no real flavour at all... chips where under-cooked... Sauces all cheap tastless wholesale bottles you would expect at a burger van, the heinz bottle had cheap ketchup in!! Even the hand soap in toilet was watered down!! There was a party of a few families on one table and there kids where just running around the whole time... the resturant seemed fine with this. Resturant itself appeared clean on the surface but if you look closely around floor edges etc it really is quite dirty! Overall not great, wouldn't recommend...

Worst steak ever, we asked for our steaks to be medium rare but after waiting 45 min they both came well done, some cheap chips and some salad, the salad was the best part so that says it all. Complained to waitress and was informed they don’t have anymore steak so had to have it, waitress offered us to have something else but didn’t wanna wait anymore, the steak was tough and flavorless, no seasoning just tough bland meat. They took the steak off the bill so we saved £21 on an awful meal. Felt quite sick after aswell, not good. Don’t eat here

Honestly been to this restaurant a few times over the past 3 years honestly it has gone down hill I’ve literally just eaten there I feel sick and very unwell The food was not good it was extremely dry tasteless salad was dry no rice only chips and unfortunately the staff did not offer any sauces we had to constantly ask would not recommend

The food was delicious all the family enjoyed it. It was a great start to our holiday. Service was excellent.

I went to a restaurant with my family for the first time today.I am ordering family food they gave me very less food which is not enough but the price is too high.They zoom in on the food pictures so much food is visible and Their food quality is very very bad,Money is high but they don't provide enough food

A little hidden gem in plain sight. I've walked past here hundreds of times but today we decided to pop in lovely atmosphere lovely staff food was amazing just like been on holiday lovely open charcoal grill food all cooked fresh. I'm not a fan of hummus they the hummus here was lovely and frest with a twang of lemon. I had the chicken and lamb grill and it was lovely massive portion well worth the money rice lovely fresh tomato salad will definitely be coming back in a fue weeks when we are at wheels festival 19 out of 10 keep up the great work

Overall was a good place to visit. It's nearby to the beach and food here is halal. The meat was bland. Even a bit of salt would have made this a lot better. Lamb shish was an exception though as that did seem to be full of flavour. Service was very great so keep it up!

Had to go back for more! The food is delicious, fairly priced and you get a loooot! Staff is welcoming and atmosphere is very relaxed. Will be a happy returning customer. :)

Order one meal for two it's plenty of food

I got a takeaway and all I can say the food was absolutely bland as! Ribs were chewy and the lamb liver was overcooked. No taste what so ever. Turkish food ive had has flavour of the charcoal grill and salt. This had none of that, I even had to put my own salt on and thats saying somthing!! First time ive been here but sachet mayo and ketchup with turkish kebab?! Is it because i was doing takeaway (I don't know) but wheres the homemade chilli and garlic yoghurt sauces?! Would i come here again? No....

Hard to find Halal food along any beach front in the UK so 👍👍 nice food, decent prices, good service, what more could you ask for 🤷

Popped in for a bite to eat Easter Sunday with one other at around 8pm (everywhere on the seafront was either closed, fully booked or too expensive) SO glad we did WOW is all I can say! HUGE portion sizes and amazing taste, all cooked to perfection 👌 Will definitely be returning with my family in the summer!

Stated it was open on Google and on maps but infact the place was closed until next year.

The rice tasted raw and they didn’t bring half of the food so we shared it out and walked out

The food is very nice and tasty, but the service is a bit lacking which have to wait long.

Disgusting food. Smelt weird, ordered 4 chickens, every single one had blood coming out of it. When I went down to help the waitress take the chickens back, the chef shouted at me across the restaurant, claiming the blood was juice.

The experience was really bad, the chicken we ordered was very red, (bloody) which is disgusting. When we spoke to the chef, he was very rude, saying it’s juice. However I showed him the video of the bloody chicken which I took, and he as denying it, shouting at us.

We came in today for the first and last time for a family meal. The restaurant itself has great potential, but it was let down by the massive portions of tasteless food and 1 rude member of staff. My chicken breast was barely cooked you could not taste the marinade, the rice was not good and the salad was bland. My husband asked to send his half chicken back to be cooked for longer. As it looked boiled. His server said ‘I don’t have time for this’ and stormed off in a huff. She did not want to listen that he was not happy or take it back to the kitchen as he had asked for it too be well cooked when he ordered it. His food was returned by the server who had taken our original order who looked quite embarrassed, we all were and it returned cooked so it was slightly crispy as originally ordered. I have never experienced this in a restaurant, ever.

It sad to do this. But I am literally sat at the restaurant doing this review. That’s how frustrated I am with this restaurant. I came to Great Yarmouth with my wife after a great day out to the beach I was looking for a halal Turkish restaurant I chose this restaurant based on reviews. I am shocked with the standard of food here. No taste no flavour. Plain bland dry food. My teeth are hurting chewing into the meat. They don’t do any gravy or sauce to go with their dry food. Yeah they offered ketchup. Spending so much on two of us and eating 1/4 of the food I’m so furious. I guess people come here because of the lack of options for Turkish food here. This is an honest review!

The place is pleasant especially on the terrace, however the food is very disappointing, tasteless, the roast chicken not cooked, was bland without flavor, the staff does not seem experienced! .honestly I do not recommend at all, the positive point is the view on the terrace.

Came here as it’s one of only of a few Turkish places I know this is a seasonal location. But was a tad bit pricey. Food portions were big and salad was really tasty. Just the meat was abit bland 😟 didn’t really have much flavour. Had the lamb chops and chicken as well which is made on the grill Waitress was nice and friendly

visit Great Yarmouth sometimes. After a long day at the beach, we wanted to have a delicious meal. We chose Turkish food. I did not get traditional Turkish cuisine in this restaurant. I don't recommend it

I should've taken more pictures here to be honest. The food was lovely. We were pleasantly surprised. It's kinda pricey but the portion size made sense once we got our food. Staff were helpful and accomodating.

Lunchtime visit on a rainy Tuesday. Very welcoming and great food.

Really pleased we went here. We sat on the balcony upstairs. Had halloumi starter and chicken/lamb shish main. Fantastic!! The meat was tender, succulent, hot and good quality. It’s tough to beat quality, marinated meat cooked over charcoal! Oh, massive portions too, brilliant! I enjoyed the salads as these were clearly freshly prepared. We were happy with the price considering the quality of the food and service, worth every penny! The service was great and we loved the relaxed atmosphere, we’ll be back for sure!

The restaurant's atmosphere, food and staff were all great until i saw a few men come to the side street to empty their bladders because they were too lazy (and disgusting!) to go to the public toilets nearby!!

DINED IN ON 29th August 2021, WORST 👎👎👎Turkish Resturant I’ve ever been to in my life. Firstly waitress took our order and didn’t put my daughter’s meal on the till machine and when they dropped the rest of my family’s food they didn’t even ask if everything was all good and ok. They didn’t even apologise or anything for forgetting my daughter’s meal and second of all the food was plain and not well presented; In nearly every Turkish Resturant they offer you complimentary bread and Turkish sauces but in this restaurant it’s not the case. If a Turkish person was to actually come to this restaurant and try their food they would be ridiculed and disgusted. The food was not cheap and wasn’t worth all that money that we spent. Worst customer service ever. Don’t waste your money and go look for better authentic Turkish restaurants

Friendly staff Nice atmosphere sitting upstairs Service was fairly slow Small portion of tasty bread given with houmous starter, needed to pay for additional bread They had ran out of rice so chips were given with minced lamb and chicken skewers, both tasted nice.

First time here. I've attached a picture of the view from my seat, not exactly conducive to fine dining and atmosphere. The walls were tatty with peeling paint or paper, couldn't establish which. The service was OK, although our first course plates were not cleared away before the second course was brought and there was quite a long initial wait to order. The food was OK but I thought lacked flavour. Plenty of bread and rice and a nothing special chopped salad. Often rice is nicely plated in shaped mounds, not so here just a random spooning onto the plate. I felt the lamb in my aubergine kebab was very overcooked making it dry and trust me, I like my meat well cooked. Whilst there was nothing to complain about all the niceties expected from a restaurant were missing for me.

ABSOLUTELY DISCUSSED AND FURIOUS!!!Table booked on 18th August in order to celebrate my birthday on 21st. Booking was accepted for 8pm. arrived with friends to enjoy my birthday dinner and was told that due to a function party increasing in number we were no longer welcome to dine. We have eaten here previously on many occassons and are now left trying to find elsewhere when we have not booked to celebrate my birthday. THANK YOU FOR RUINING MY BIRTHDAY PLANS
