Great food, special curry was really good.

Not sure what I got but it wasn’t what I’ve had before. I ordered the shredded Mongolian beef.. it was fatty, definitely not shredded and the sauce was bright orange and thick and didn’t taste anything like my past orders of it. Ended up just eating the rice and throwing the rest. Delivery on point.. even tipped the guy. Shame the food was so bad.

great meal overall, I would suggest a bit more seasoning for the chicken rice 🍚

NEVER RECEIVED MY FOOD!!!!! Just eat kept telling me to ring the restaurant and when I did so it kept saying “user busy”?! no other way to contact them and no food at my door? I understand it may be a saturday night and busy but when you can’t even contact them to know if they’ve even made your order yet? what am i supposed to do?

Food tasted as though it was old

My go to Chinese restaurant that nothing disappoints.

The meat on the peeking ribs was as tough as old boots and the half of duck at over 20 quid made only 4 pancake rolls, it was just a tub full of bones. Will never order from there again

Ordered chicken chow mein with our order last night, my other half bit into the chicken and spat it out. The chicken was near enough raw in the middle. My other half rang the shop to be met with a disgusting attitude from whoever answered the phone stating that they don’t send raw chicken out to their customers, refused to send another out and argued with my other half over the phone. So she was left with chips for her tea and was told to contact just eat if she thinks it’s raw. Funny that just eat have refunded it in full after asking for images if it ‘wasn’t raw’. Will not be ordering from here again. I understand mistakes happen but it’s how you deal with it that’s important, if they’d sent another and apologised I wouldn’t be writing this! I’d avoid.

AVOID THIS PLACE! Ordered on their website for delivery, had to phone up twice to find out where our food was. It turned up 2hours 10minutes after placing the order. The chips were stale and clearly been under a heat lamp or in a microwave. The foo yung was way too salty. The sweet and sour chicken was rubbery and the sauce didn't taste right. The prawn crackers were stale too. This use to be a great place to order from and we used it regularly but after tonight we won't be using it again.

This is the second time my order has been late. It took 1hr 30mins from ordering the food to receiving it. Last time it was late it took over 2 hours! I’ll think twice about ordering from here again. Such a shame because the food is decent,

We had this food delivered yesterday (19/09/24) ir was delivered exactly on time and the food was lovely very good size portions id go as far to ssy it was the best chinese takeaway we have eaten in a very long time would highly recommend

Ordered for delivery. Stayed would be 30 mins. Arrived 90mins later. First time ordering from here and won’t be again. Special Satay was watery and resembled thin gravy. Full of onion and green pepper. Chips inedible as had clearly been warmed up or kept warm making them dry and tasteless. Overall very disappointing.

this time our food some was a little over cooked, wonton didn't look anything like a wonton. but was ok

£38 for two people and the best thing was the prawn crackers nearly 1 hour 45 mins to arrive, this is one bad Chinese!

I hate to write this review but The food really wasn't nice today the chips was awful and had a strange taste to them,, the beef in the curry was like chewing bricks surprised i didn't break my teeth.. normally really good from here but not sure what happened today

waited 2 hours for food over cooked when it finally arrived. shame as we place orders from here regularly.and no prawn crackers to go with soups.

Food really has gone down in taste and quality. No prawn crackers as promised. Delivery driver left gate wide open allowing my dog to escape. This really is the last time.

Food not brilliant ... batter on sweet and sour balls not fully cooked so doughy inside. Steak Cantonese inedible as ingredients included that are not normally in any steak cantonese ordered from other establishments, which totally changed the taste for the worse.

Food was absolutely delicious tonight just like always the beef was so soft and just melted in your mouth definitely found the perfect Chinese

I wasn't bothered that the order was 5-10 mins late but the food was shocking! worst spring roll I've had, was large but lacked flavour. Egg fried rice was abysmal and for £2.40 extra I'd expect much better. finally the Mongolian beef which used to be may favourite was over cooked and no where near as tender as it used to be and didn't have as much sauce. breaking my diet for this has broken my heart, never again will I be ordering from Middleton Chinese 😞

What’s happened? I always leave 5 star reviews but for the past two orders we received heated up food , not freshly made like always . I thought with the last order was a one off but today it happened again . New cook or something?

We ordered ribs, beef and chicken curry and all the meat was tough we couldn't eat it. The ribs were very dry and very tough. The chicken was horribly dry and over cooked. The Mongolian beef was very tough, and tasteless. The beef was supposed to be shredded. It was just lumps of tasteless, tough meat (supposedly) . We won't be buying from there again. A waste of money.

i ordered “salt and pepper shredded chicken” fried rice and curry sauce and this is what came after an 1 hour and 45 minutes of ordering no flavour at all and a couple of onions in, no peppers or spice to it at all. I usually order from here all the time and never disappoints. Customer service was as good as the chicken they sent me.

So disappointed!! Always enjoyed the food, recommended to family and friends, but tonight the food was shocking! Chicken in the soup was undercooked and still pink, binned.... mixed starter was undercooked and soggy, Special in Oyster Sauce was just in gravy! We were told that it was extremely busy, which is fine, but standards shouldn't be dropped! Was supposed to be a lovely meal at the end of a super day for my birthday.......but it really spoiled it!! Won't be ordering from here again!

Fried rice was dark and overcooked Salt and pepper chicken wings had no taste very bland Sweet n sour battered prawns glooopy batter not cooked Sweet n sour sauce had no pineapple peppers or onion in it Always buy from here but not anymore!

Been ordering from here for around 4 years now so long overdue review. I’ve lived all over Leeds, and can fully endorse this as the best chinese Leeds has to offer! Almost overlooked it because the name doesn’t scream ‘oriental delight’, but all that aside, huge portions, amazing quality, and quick service 💯. Ticks all the boxes.

This had to be the worst takeaway iv had yet pork dumplings tasted like raw fat chicken chow main no taste what so ever slimey consistency my 6 year old woyldnt entertain it all binned wouldnr recommend

Order correct. Food still hot when delivered. Large pieces of meat which were very tender.

Unfortunately I did not enjoy the food. It was not for me. The noodles had a flavour to them and were slimy, the Mongolian chicken was not particularly nice, salt and pepper chips bland, ok sauce was nice, fried rice was nice. But over all, not for me. But came hot and on time. Sorry for the poor review.

Excellent service 👏, would like the doorbell to be used though as we didn't hear the knock on the door, we saw the delivery lady stood outside the house.

Food always delivered either on time or early and packaged well to avoid spills. Well cooked, flavoursome meals with good portion sizes and large menu selection means Middleton Chinese is a reliable go to for us.

Ordered beef in black pepper along with other things but this came all crushed with most of the sauce in the bag it was delivered in. Rang up to get replacement as shouldn't pay 7.10 for something to be delivered like that and got told there is nothing they can do, asked to speak to manager but all busy. When the beef was tasted it was all fatty and tough will never use again!!

Not sure why so many 1 star reviews. Always ordered online through their website and never had any issues. Well priced and good accurate pick up times. Food amazing as always

Veg chow mein was tasteless and mushy! Spring rolls were rubbery, no crunch. Chips were ok.

Food was hot & really tasty. We asked for the chow mein to be made spicy and it was lovely. Love the pancake rolls!!

It was ok but the duck was overdone & some too hard to eat & the chow mien had too much sauce but it was tasty

Food was amazing always cooked to perfection but the pancake roll I'm not sure on as it was just full and I mean full of bean sprouts I thought they had bits of meat in them..

to say it will be delivered in 55 minutes then change to 1 hour 40 after ordering is not acceptable and I would never of ordered had this have been the case

the rice was hard the chicken over cooked prawn toast was just fried bread would not recommend 😑

Everything was absolutely delicious, fast delivery and will be ordering from here again.

Food is good but service is very poor they accept your order and then keep in taking additional orders from people calling in just to be greedy and then they just keep pushing your order back further and further just so they can get more orders and you end up waiting ages for your food!!! How about just investing in more staff and bigger premises or just say no as you clearly can’t service the additional orders it’s just bad service and bad buisness

I wouldn’t have ordered if I knew it would take 2 hours! It’s a shame as the food was nice but I couldn’t eat it as I’d gone passed being hungry
