Excellent Micro bar in the Arndale shopping centre, next to the food hall. Cracking selection of real ales, craft beer, German and Belgium beers and Ciders. Love sitting here watching the world go by too, you can grab food from the stalls nearby to eat in the bar area, had a burrito on this visit.

This is a great little place with dozens of fabulous German, American and Belgian beers. We had a pint of American Anchor and a German brown wheat beer. Very knowledgeable staff too.

A welcome break from shopping is this place. Inside the Arndale market is a real ale oasis. Not only does it have an excellent bottled beer list but also 4-5 handpumps. A top spot for a swift half.

I can't remember on how many occasions iv'e thought " Where can I go for a drink on my own, in the middle of Manchester ? " And I have gone for the Micro bar at the Arndale ! You can sit on your own, have a portion of food, from a worldwide selection at the food hall. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable of the guest ales, you can sit at the small bar or up to the shelf, watching the world go by ! Well worth a visit.

Ubicado en el centro comercial Arndale, es una micro cervecería ideal para tomar una buena pinta de cerveza. Variedad en tiradores y gran cantidad de latas y botellas. Muy buen precio de su producto.

Fab little bar set inside the Armadale markets in Manchester city centre. Lots of bottled beers available, a few real ales and crafty stuff. They don't do food but you can nip around the food stalls close by to soak up the ale. Note, only open until about 7pm I think.

Perched myself here while waiting for my better half who was having her nails done in the Market. What a fantastic range of beer. Rare real ales and some unusual premium lagers on draught. And a fantastic range of bottled beers from all over the world. Lots of the best Belgian varieties which you don't often see in UK pubs. It's located just within the market, right next to the exit onto High Street. Not a lot of seating. It's at ground level at this point. It really is a micro bar. Surrounded by food stalls so you can wander off for a nibble, too!. Definitely worth a visit if you need somewhere to relax while visiting the Arndale Market. Prices aren't too OTT either.

Conveniently situated in the Arndale Food Hall, this gem is a good place to rest and recuperate during the slog from Manchester Piccadilly Station to the Marble Arch. It is one of the very few opportunities anywhere to enjoy Boggart Brewery's Rum Porter on draught. You definitely get the rum, retro nasally. And if you're peckish, you can grab something from one of the stalls around about while you're supping your ale.

Whenever I work in this area, I always go to Waterside Cafe on Redhill St Manchester 4. Appropriately named, this delightful, clean, welcoming cafe sits by the canal. Inside it is very clean with an extensive light meal/snack menu. There are deep settees to relax in or chairs and tables. People sit with their newspapers or laptops. The owners are so helpful, friendly and accommodating. My favourite thing is the goat's cheese panini which is really good quality. Go there, it's a lovely place.

Had the Christmas special, camembert burger, chose the chicken one. Came with bacon and cranberry sauce. Chip, 1 side and a drink for £20. It was beautiful! They forgot my side so asked our sever about it, think she was stressing with a large table she had because when I did ask she didn't look happy. Still, it didn't affect my experience too much, I know how hard server roles are! Highly recommended any time of day, a new special every week.
