Very reasonably priced food. Ordered chicken kebabs in naan. Very tasty

Can’t beat these prices. And parking is easily found.

It’s right in the middle of Cheethamhill next to Waterloo Road, best Roti place, I remember seeing this place from last 10 years now, never disappoint me, always fresh food specially Roti and Naan, I went in only for naan but staff wasn’t very happy and friendly or even hello or good bye, dead face otherwise everything was perfect that’s why I’m giving 4 stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟

***PLEASE READ*** I visited this place today for the first time with my child. I was a little hesitant about coming here at first as in all honesty, I never really liked the look of this place. However, when I ordered and ate the Lamb Karahi and Chicken Biriyani I was completely gobsmacked! I did not expect the food to be so delicious (MashaAllah). I’ve ate in many places in the area including Yayas, Punjab Tandoori, etc but I can assure everyone that they make the BEST lamb karahi and chicken Biriyani ever!!!! My ethnicity is Bangladeshi and we know about flavours of curries but I have to say this place has outweighed all the places I’ve ever ate at even my master chef’s uncles Biriyani. The overall service was also great as we didn’t wait too long for the food and it came with a nice side salad. The food is very reasonably priced too. The only downside side is that you can’t really dine in with a large group as they are have limited tables. Please DO NOT underestimate this place from the outside as the food is unbelievable. You won’t regret it.

The lamb Karahi was incredibly tasty, above and beyond and one of the finest I've had. I also had lamb liver with accompanying dips and roti which all combined very nicely to leave me very full, and very happy too! Thank you 🙏

Normally get rotisserie or naan which is cheap 50p per roti and £1 a naan which is worth, there are couple of tables to sit and eat.

i was quite regular customer, but recently i been away, and today i bought some food, i couldn't recognise anyone working inside. but when i took food home 😡😡 what a disappointment? nothing like what it use to be, food wasn't even cooked properly, i believe recipe is changed for chappal kabab, pakoras was awful. naan were ok . i think management is changed under new ownership 🤷🏻 i feel like if im robbed. never again .. sorry if i hurt anyone. but im very upset.

It's great customer service...know the staff well...happy and polite and friendly,...the food is good and tasty..lits of choice..quality ingredients my only issue is 1) hygiene of the customer dining area..2) could profit from a makeover, fresh paint and general cleaning and maintenance to the customer area...cleaning tables and floor with relevant clothes and sweeping tools...iff your hungry..try Ashes in Cheethamhill...you won't be disappointed

Roti is a hidden gem. I love their chapli kebabs, rotis, chaana masala plus tarka daal. Going to try they karahi lamb next time as it looked and smelled so good when two nearby sitting customers were having it. Its a small cafe style place with maybe seating for 8 people but just like other eating outlets its these small places that satisfy customers stomachs plus soul every time. Mohammad and AJ are very friendly and cook to delight all. KEEP IT UP! Was there last night (24/08/23) treating a very good business colleague & friend and guess what?....am on my way to order more chaplis with roties, salad and yougurt/mint based chutnies. Treat your tastebuds at Roti. Sir and eat there is vacant places available as its amazing eating it straight out of the kitchen. All chaplis and curries seem FRESHLY prepared plus cooked.

Good place for quick food, service and taste is quite well.

Mohammad is an amazing proprietor for whom speed of best customer service seems foremost on his mind. I love his freshly made chapli kebabs. Has a small cafe style sitting area where l enjoy consuming the hot food but take away orders seems to be most popular with customers. Definitely a hidden gem.

Decent rotis. The food is average, but you get what you pay for. You need to wait a bit, despite quite a crowd of staff members in the kitchen.

Delicious food and great prices, just service can be a little slow at times otherwise great experience.

When asked for tandoori roti they just gave me by heating a Libyan bread.. chicken items were tasteless

the staff member at the counter was busy using his mobile phone, he saw I was waiting to be served and was encouraged by the supervisor/owner to serve me, after giving my order he started preparing the food without washing hands, not sanitary to handle food when using a mobile phone, so decided to go elsewhere

Really known well for their roti and naan in Cheetham Hill. They used to offer 4 roti for £1 but with demand and Covid, they are now offering 3 roti for £1. They also provide cooked kebabs and chicken.

Kabili pilau was yummy and staff was good too.

Not as good as it used to be...

Ordered lamb karahi yesterday and was disappointed as no flavours , bland and sauce watery with no masala. They gave little portion compared to what they usually give aswel. They have new staff. Old staff used to make delicious lamb karahi. Hopefully it's a one off. But their kebabs, grilled chicken , peri burgers are always very nice . Service and waiting times are very good aswell usually.
