What can I say “fabulous food” “fabulous service”. We popped in an advanced large order for a family gathering and Michael’s were amazing - collection ready for the time we asked - and quality of food top notch ! definitely a 5 star review from us

Best Chinese in the area , we have never had a bad meal

Ordered a takeaway delivery for 3 people to celebrate a birthday. The food was luke warm and for my son's order the wrong item was sent, cannot recall what is was as it was my son's and he had ordered 3 or 4 items, but it was a chicken dish, I suggested we contact them but he did not want the faff and just ate it anyway.

The only Chinese takeout you ever need to use. The best for miles around. It's cash only, and you can get delivery. A must try

Had delivery from Michael's a couple times when visiting the area. It's one of those places you have to know is there. Food is delivered fast "30 minutes or as soon as ready" Prices are very reasonable and food arrives hot. Everytime it's been delicious and zero complaints. 4 meals under £40

Couldn’t even place an order, called multiple times. No answer. Phone line was busy for one call, called after. Still no answer. Went somewhere else.

I went to Michael’s because it was top rated . My order came out completely wrong and I was forced to pay for a remake that was even more inedible Frozen hash browns and spoiled mushy green Chile. The manger was rude and condescending. Don’t go to this place highly overrated and abusing tourists

Asked for special Thai green curry and got red curry must lisson to customers would have taken it back but never take food back that can't see been cooked I will say it was still very nice and would go again

First time ordering tonight can't believe I didn't know about it excellent customer service and the food wow , slightly annoyed I'll probably bring spending alot more money here due to how good it is 😂

Top quality food , always delivered piping hot. Staff are so friendly. But going back to the food. I suffer with IBS. This is one of a few take aways incan actually eat without a flare up. Goes to show how clean and well the food must be stored and prepared. The taste is amazing, my favourite is the roast pork fired rice. The sweet and sour sauce is lovely also. Just the right consistency. And super tasty. Top takeaway. Of which I have been using for around 25 years now. When it first opened. 5/5

What a waste of £34!! Bland anaemic rice! Hardly any special in it! The sweet & sour chicken balls were dried out and mostly hard, gristle! Lemon chicken hard and over cooked. The duck was mostly fat!! We feel completely ripped off!! Never use them again!

The staff are poilte and helpful even though it was a busy Saturday night. The food is always nice.

The staff, were lovely and so friendly, apologetic and polite, despite being massively rushed off their feet! We couldn't believe how busy they were...but as they were highly recommended, it made sense! We did have to wait - but their predicted time was spot on! - and our food was delicious! Generous helpings and cooked perfectly! We especially loved the honey and lemon chicken! Thank you so much Michael's Kitchen - we will be back!

The best Chinese take away by far in Martlesham and surrounding areas. If you’re further worth the travel. We use them every 1/2 weeks. Excellent food, always ready to collect on time, hot and tasty. ( I struggle with my tummy with most Chinese take always, never any nasty greasy residue on the top from here) Cash only so don’t get caught out.

Ordered at 7pm was told delivery would be 45 mins. An hour and 50 mins later if arrived cold tasteless and absolutely vile!!!! Don't know why they take on so many delivery's at once when they cannot fulfil these. Used to be a real tasty Chinese takeaway! Will never order from them again, food is absolutely rank and over priced for the crap you get delivered!!! Very poor service

Completely useless!!! Tried to call 8 times over the the space of 45minutes with no answer, to place an order. Gone down hill rapidly this place.

Great food but unreliable to get through on phone

I will not be going to this Chinese again! The food was cold and the chicken was hard when it eventually came after an hour and a half wait ! didn’t eat a single bit and when I called up to tell them their words were “well your not getting your money back” very very rude and just overall a waste of money and time

After waiting 2 hours for our meal, there was also a dish missing. The driver was rude. A child was sent to the door with our food. And it was cold.

We weren’t that impressed with Michael’s Kitchen when we tried it a few years ago, but thought we’d give it another go after some positive reviews from family. Perhaps we just caught it on a bad night previously, or ordered the wrong dishes, as both the quality and quantity of food has been excellent on each of the occasions we’ve used it in the past four months. The food isn’t packed with MSG as it can be with other Chinese takeaways, and the portions are incredibly generous. I’ve ordered a different main each time, and while one (the Szechuan pork) was a little too spicy for me, it was still full of flavour. It’s great to finally have a reliable and well-priced Chinese on our doorstep.

We regularly enjoy a take away from Michaels Kitchen. Most times our order is delivered, carefully packed, within about 20 minutes. The choice of dishes is extensive and always excellent. This Chinese kitchen is …… Simply the Best.

Food always beautifully cooked, staff lovely too

After finishing work after a long day I really didn’t fancy cooking so thought I would give this place a go. Great staff and lovely food, I’ve just read a few bad reviews (not many) and they are laughable surely if a place is busy that’s a really good sign and if you have to wait a little longer then fair enough. Far too many snowflakes around. I’ll definitely order again soon

Use a lot alway good food fast service

I used to love this place,but I feel of late the food has gone a little downhill 😕. I'm a sucker for curry sauce,but this was a weak recipe in my book. Pancake rolls were quite small,whereas in the past they were whoppers! Couldn't get two hands round them back in the day. On the flip side,service is brilliant and delivery man was very polite.

Couldn't ask for anything more. Ordered on a Tuesday night. Really easy ordering. Food arrived within half an hour. Lovely delivery driver. All of the food was delicious. We've had the mixed starter a few times now and that's going to be on the order every time from now on. Really enjoyed chilli beef, duck in hoi sin and Szechuan pork tonight. Looking forward to next time. Thank you.

I was hesitant because of the mixed bag of reviews however we had a great experience. The place was very clean, staff were polite and the food was tasty! I like that there are some Thai dishes on the menu. We will eat here again.

very bad service they missed a dish out and i got told we would need to wait one hour for the dish as they are to busy to cook it and said i could have a credit credit note very rude on the phone

Amazing food!!! Brilliant service, very friendly staff. They helped us pick from the menu as we had never had thai before. Wish they would open there woodbridge restaurant again. Although the 1 hour round trip is worth the delicious flavours!!!

Awful service, waited almost 2 hours for a collection... gave up and went elsewhere...!!

Our food arrived an hour late but we didn’t say anything as we understood they were busy and a delivery driver short. We had ordered a mixed veg curry and received a Thai green curry which was to spicy to eat. The chicken balls were nice but the chow main was very greasy. When ordering it was very hard to understand the person on the phone due to a lot of background noise their end I don’t think we will be ordering from their again. It has gone downhill 😕

Michaels kitchen is my favourite takeaway. During lockdown I tried many different chineses and none of them compared even close to Michaels. They are tasty dishes and always happy to help me when I want to try something new with recommendations. I will never get chinese from anywhere else!

I ordered a delivery of bbq spare ribs and egg fried rice, king prawn hoison sauce, always thought the foid was okay orederd many time, I had very bad diarea afterwards, and an upset stomach. My daughter orded seaweed tonight and other foid amounting to £24.00 the seaweed was mouldy what the he'll is going on, well I won't be ordering again and nor will my daughter this place has gone down hill

Don't bother. Waited far to long for order. No customer in front walked out. If could rate zero I would.

Won't be going again. Waited over half an hour for order. They were more interested in phone orders. No other customer before us. So told them to forget it and walked out.

Lovely food always hot. Moved to the country recently & thought I wouldn't get it delivered but they go out of their way to meet me to pick up food service is excellent.

Great quality food at a good price. They deliver too but if it's Saturday night they are very popular so it can take a while. I recommend ordering by phone and then going to collect -- they'll tell you how long it will take over the phone.

We have been getting Chinese take away from here for over 10 years and the quality is always perfect. Don't be put off by the location in an industrial estate - it's a hidden gem.

One of the best in town, we always use them. Sadly the price has shot up along with the wait times but gotta wait for great food sometimes

These people know how to cook. Tucked away on the industrial estate but dont let this put you off. food is cooked with love. Not your normal greasey slap up.

The food every time has been excellent. I've tried my hardest to stick with them - their food is fresh, non-greasy, tasty and delivery has always been fast. BUT..... they are so unpredictable in other ways. Suddenly when you call for an order they can't deliver. Despite advertising that that they can. Other times they just don't even answer the phone. Other companies are available on apps like Just Eat. They would escalate their business huge amounts if they just moved with the times. Just called after a long day at work (irregular hours) and despite them advertising that they can deliver to me now, they won't. The driver has knocked off apparently. Shoddy. So I can't support them anymore. Such a shame.

Poor food, small portions,quick service.

We’ve used MK for a number of years and its always been good - however today was a truly disgusting experience. Having waited over an hour our food arrived so you can imagine the disappointment when we discovered the coconut chicken was refrigerator cold and set solid like a blob of cold lard, the duck and prawn rice were equally cold (but at least they did appear to have been cooked at some point today unlike the coconut chicken !), the pancakes had been microwaved beyond saving and crumbled like popadoms. Ok so delays happen so we phoned up and politely explained only to be greeted with “we refund you one dish next time” - my reply “no thanks I dont want a refund I would like the food I ordered delivered cooked and hot ready to eat so please arrange to replace’ - reply from MK “you already had food delivered and we very busy and cant replace’ !!!! - really, is that your ideas of customer service.

2 hours and 20 mins for delivery that was placed at 18:21...arrived just warm enough to eat but a cold sauce pot. To food would have been so much nicer if hot...very disappointed as we never eat so late at night.

What a nice takeaway this is, they have a really good menu which covers nearly all aspects of Cantonese eating, good quality, good portion sizes, good prices and last but not least they are good time keepers too on delivery! Great work folks keep it up. Jimmy and Ray are really nice guys but Nathan is a grouch

The quality of the food has gone down drastically the king prawns seemed to have shrunk and the noodles tasteless without flavours the wanton soup is made out of some kind of pork bits looks like we are going back to panda in Woodbridge..please fix up guys this place used to be good

Ordered our takeaway and it was delivered within the stated 30 mins. The food was hot and very tasty. Had duck pancakes and the duck was cooked spot on. The delivery guy was friendly. Would recommend and use again.

Had a lovely chinese from Michael's Kitchen with my family. Had a big order to be delivered. Staff member on the phone told us it would be with us within 45 minutes which it was! Food looked and tasted fantastic. Definitely be using this company again!

Been going there for years, 15 years + and never had a problem with the food or staff.

Spent 2 hrs ringing this place trying to place server all times for a £ 50 + order for a party. No one could be bothered to answer the phone. Just rang and rang. Went elsewhere in the end. Will not bother to try again in the future.

Been going here from for over 10 years, the best Chinese/Thai takeaway for miles, don't let the location put you off, the food is amazing.

This place has gone downhill over the last few years from forgetting items ordered to an insult to crispy duck. I could not even tell if it was even duck. It looked like bitty rice. I complete disappointment never never never never never again !!!!!!!

Would never go anywhere else fantastic food

Such a shame. The food from here is reasonable but it took two hours to deliver, only to receive a container of special fried rice that was three quarters vegetables and a quarter rice for two people. Jimmy, (who needs to learn a level of customer service, especially given he claimed to be the owner - I'm sure Michael would like to know that), offered a boiled rice in half an hour at a cost of £2.90. Firstly, rip off, secondly, when you've taken two hours to deliver a substandard meal already, adding another half an hour and a charge on top is pretty appalling. Do not recommend and definitely will not be using again.

Tried here instead of our usual Chinese. Really loved the beef in black bean sauce, fried rice but prefer our usual places prawn crackers.

First of all delicious food, nice rich flavours. Fast service, friendly stuff. They lack a website or at least updated menu on the Google maps, that's old, but that won't take the 5 stars away.
