First time used absolutely lovely

Another excellent meal. Superb deluxe kebabs and will definitely be ordering vegatable pakoras in future, after being given a taster this time.

Always a good experience here, order the same thing every time and it is extremely consistent. I don't find many indian takeaways offer paneer dishes and when they do there's barely any in it whereas Miah is super generous with portion sizes and find myself having leftovers for the next day. 5*.

Excellent food, really friendly staff. I'm now very full and happy, different to what I expected in a good way. I had the king Donner which I highly recommend if you like spicy meat dishes. They even make the naan breads fresh, top marks from me!

Chicken tikka masala was like pink water! Keema nann with no keema in and so dry and hard in places. Don’t waste your money it’s fowl!

First time ordering from Miahs tonight and I must say the food is amazing, so freshly made and tasty. I have most definitely found my new favourite take away 😀

Will not be ordering food here again, sauce was watery, no taste, rice was a mixture between Chinese taste and Indian, peshawari naan was like a plain naan, very disappointed. Only good thing to say delivery was timely.

Takeaway was awful. Worst food ever, not what I ordered at all. Everything tasted the same..All dishes were made in the same korma sauce. Missing items and nothing like we expected.

Absolulty banging ordered a couple times and enjoyed it everytime and even got a free starter which was absolutely lovely would highly recommend

Amazing curries! We’ve had the chicken tikka rogan josh and the lamb bhuna - so flavoursome, not swimming in oil like other take aways I’ve had, and the rice and naan were great too! I won’t order anywhere else now.

Been eating/making curries for over 40 year's, I can honestly say this was the worst curry I have had the displeasure of trying £25 worth of food went in the bin, I would not recommend this place if it was the last takeaway in Britain

I don’t normally review food and just put bad experiences down as exactly that, but the food ordered tonight was so underwhelming I felt compelled. The curry was bland, watery and dull. the naan cold and chewy and the rice didn’t even turn up. I’m sorry anoki I will never stray again ! You certainly get what you pay for which is disappointing as we had only ordered on the back of other reviews.

We regularly order from Miah's. Absolutely love his healthy kebabs. Always fresh with high quality ingredients used. Service and delivery with a smile at very competitive prices. Always given a free side too to try. Recommend 💯.

Mr miah is an amazing cook . His food is outstanding and service is brilliant .I went to collect my food today and I was served with a complementary dish while I waited . There is an explosion of flavour in every bite you take . Definitely 5 stars .

Not the best burnt poppadoms chicken hard nan not as asked for

Just eat .. 1 special kebab..1 chips... 4 poppadoms..pickle tray ..im saying spicy hot ...filling ,nan smallish ..poppadoms ok dips ok ...ill give you 5 if you lower the £21 minimum order on just eat thats steep compared to majority..chips were ok but lower the £21 if you can to attract more customers

The kebab with special sauce was rancid, the naan cold, black and gritty from an unclean oven, second meal in a row terrible, used to be better. Perhaps if the caved in window and shop front wasn't covered in boarding for months food would improve again, mine was old and stale. Seriously do yourself a FAVOUR, and steer well clear.

Miah's is by far the best indian takeaway in the area. Always freshly made dishes using quality ingreadients and spices. Miah works very hard preparing and cooking all his own dishes. Miah's delivery driver has worked for him for years. He always takes care in delivering food piping hot and with great care, Many thanks guy's.

Had a fantastic take away and while we waited we were treated to an amazing Thai starter which was fabulous. The chef and the lady behind the counter were very friendly and couldn't do enough for us. I definitely highly recommend Miah's Takeaway, it's a real gem. The takeaway was wonderful and lots of it and best of all it was very well priced. We will definitely go back when we are next in the area.

Hi all truck driver passing through area wanting to pick up my tea before parking up for the night so I done my usual googled takeaways in area big curry & kebab lover so looked & trusted the people who would no best all the locals thank you everyone you were right you, s are very lucky to have such a good place Customer service should be 10 star very helpful with expertise on advice with your meal even given a little taster while waiting 1st ever time I have experienced that & that is from the top of this country to the bottom so thank you very much my king kebab was very tasty so glad I took your advice look forward to my next visit

Nicest takeaway myself and the wife have ever had. The food was spot on nothing I could critise at all. The staff was friendly and gave me and my daughter a plate of samples while we waited. We will be returning, thankyou for a very nice dinner.

Ordered via just eat with 35-45 min delivery only to have order cancelled after an hour. Not sure if takeaway or just eats fault but weren’t impressed having to find somewhere else to order at 8:30 on a Saturday night.

Wow! Miah's never fails to deliver but this evening's takeaway was amazing. We always over order but from a food order for four people there is enough for a lunch for two tomorrow. My Chicken Karahi was a flavour explosion, possibly the best takeaway dish I've ever had! Has to be the best of its type in the area. Give it a go.

Always great tasty food, the staff are lovely and always cook up a free sample to try, support small local businesses, I can recommend the low fat chicken kebabs.

Lust called to order food for the whole family plus friends for collection in 30 mins. Was told that i cant collect my food in 30 mins, but only in 10 mins. Weird. Never mind just ordered my £150 order from Bay Leaf.

Love this place! Staff are so friendly and always give free samples while you wait. Even when I ordered it to be delivered, the chef always gives a free sample with my meal no matter how small. Fresh salad, just tasty food. Mouth-watering. Miah's deserves everything, such a kind man. Will definitely keep ordering from here!! Recommend to everyone. Lovely fresh tasting curry. Not at all greasy, great portion sizes. Vegetables had a lovely texture with a bit of crunch to them. Thoroughly enjoyed all the food . Will order from here again

Generous servings, very hot and not completely greasy like some places. The staff were unbelievably kind, the main guy even came and gave me a free bhaji whilst I waited despite the fact I was early to collect! They definitely care about your food and experience:)

Tastes different but in a really good way man.

We had a wonderful takeaway last night. My lamb Rogan josh was beautiful and the keema rice was so light. All 4 of us enjoyed our meal, not seen my youngest finish a whole curry in one sitting but there were no survivors!! No full bloated feeling at the end either. Top meal. Top Takeaway xx Thanks guys. Absolutely disgusted with takeaway, madras was grainy powder, masala was a watery korma at best. Very disappointed. Went in bin💩

I thought this was an excellent takeaway and proper authentic and full flavoured food. I had the desi korma which didn’t taste like a British Indian restaurant curry. It was fresh and full of flavour. The nan bread was spicily stuffed and delicious much like a roti fried bread style. The fried rice was delicious with a mix of egg, potatoes and peas. A very authentic takeaway and different from the usual generic slop sent out in most of Derby. I am glad I made the trip further afield for this hidden gem! The gentleman owner gave me some bajhee snacks and lovely tender chicken tikka with his unique fruity sauce dip whilst I was waiting. 10/10

I’ve been going to Miah’s takeaway for years and never found any takeaway better. The owner is extremely welcoming and always offers a freshly cooked taster while you’re waiting for your food. My boyfriend and I are vegetarian and we both love the array options there are. Would never go to any other Indian takeaway! P.S. It’s best to call and order as when we tried to order on Just Eat he rang and said his order machine had broken. 01773 535011

Waited an hour and 20 minutes for a takeaway that was extremely disappointing. The only ok things were the chips and the rice! A couple of the starters were practically inedible. Burnt, dry onion bhajis, the pakoras looked like something I'd never had before and were not good, curry had heat but minimal flavour, I ordered spicy mushrooms and it was basically shredded mushrooms with a load of onion, if I order a mushroom side I expect mushrooms, not about 3 diced up small with lots of onion. A lot of food went to waste, I will not order from here again. What a waste of money.

Probably the worst takeaway we 've ever had with equally poor service. Ordered via Just eat. Food was 45 mins late and no answer to phone call. When it eventually arrived items were missing...again no one answered the phone. The tikka masala was like a korma....very sweet but otherwise tasteless. It also contained 5 shreds of paper ? Greaseproof paper. The cheese and onion nan was like a piece of toast, again tasteless. We simply couldn't eat this meal it was so bad and none of us are fussy eaters. In fact I dont think I've ever complained about a takeaway. But again noone answering the phone to hear our complaint! If they'd just answered the phone I wouldn't have written this on a public forum. Appalling food and appalling customer service!

We ordered directly from Miah's last night for the first time, after being declined on just eat because their system was broken. The food was really nice, and this is probably our new favourite place for Indian food. It arrived right on time and was lovely, warm and tasty. We will be ordering from you again, thanks. :)

He doesn't seem to have cleaned the place since it opened. Used to be great.

What a shocker our takeaway was a couple of weeks ago. Undercooked, cold and utterly miserable food. I got a full refund and chucked the lot in the dustbin. Never again.

Had a takeaway delivered via Just Eat last night.... Never will we again from this estaishment! The onion bhaji were cold, and dry and tough, like microwaved. Vegetable Pakor, they Chad chicken meat in them!? The mixed kebab in a nan, well my partner said its the worst she ever tried. Cold and the nan was not cooked, still wet dough. I had a chicken tikka masala.. I have had hundreds over the years... Thus one was quite definateky the most horrible tasting I have ever had. The sauce was just simply disgusting, both in texture and taste. There literally was an undertone of washing up liquid, and, it was barely luke warm. The pilou rice was OK, just about. This has to be the most horrible, nasty Indian takeaway ever! And it cost over £20.00 and over an hour to arrive. Never again!

Ordered from here on a few occasions and food is always spot on, hot, tasty and flavoursome. The chef banquet offer that is available 3 days a week is excellent value. When ordering in the takeaway they always bring you a little something (naan strips, pakoras etc) to eat while you wait and on our most recent visi5 they were observant enough to notice my daughter is vegetarian and brought us both different things. Good choice of veggie options too. Only Downside is limited parking. Would definitely recommend.

Pedidos especiales y deluxe kebab. biriani El biriani estaba frío y sin sabor la salsa era como sopa de verduras no spice en todo el arroz era soso con carne muy poco. El kebab era pequeña y casi nada de carne y tibia. Enviado el poppadom estaba roto en piezas. No comer la comida no regresar o recomendar
