First Banh Mi and was not disappointed at all, the baguettes are fresh, crispy, and the filling is just the right amount.

Normally I don’t give review but today I would give this place 0 stars if I could. The staff member who served me (a Chinese lady) was extremely rude, shouting in her own language, which was completely unprofessional. On top of that, there were flies all over the food, which is absolutely unacceptable and far below hygiene standards.

Waited 30 minutes in line for someone else to push in and order with no issues

I lovED this place, I really did and leaving a negative review is not something I do lightly but to be given unsatisfactory products again and again is just not ok. First thing I ask is not to include cucumber but twice now I come home and its included in all 4 banh mi. I also request to put more paté but not only is there not extra, there’s actually a ridiculously little amount - it almost feels like requesting anything will be ignored on purpose. I travel from Wolverhampton and make sure to stop by but it’s so disappointing coming home to food that is not as good as you expect - its not like we can come back to rectify. My order today in particular was the worst its ever been because all request was ignored and the filling was poor. In all honesty.. it was sloppy. I urge to put more care and attention in your food because they really are good when done right, unfortunately recently it has not been.

The Banh Mi here are SO GOOD! They are 100% authentic and so so so tasty. Just popped in and got a selection of three, the lady behind the counter was so cute and lovely and helped me choose a selection, she took great amount of care and instructed me how to take the food home so it was still crispy and lovely! I would 100% go again SO TASTY

Amazing Vietnamese food and coffee! My wife (who is Vietnamese)said it tasted like home. The most authentic Vietnamese food we have found in the UK. The staff are really friendly and helpful too.

Was happy with the taste and freshness of the banh mi. It was really expensive though for essentially just a sandwich (£9), but I would prefer to support a small local business than a big corporation chain company. Everything is handmade to order. I wish they could be more generous with the pate as that’s my favourite. Overall, I wouldn’t be able to visit often as it’s a expensive place but if you don’t mind the occasional treat then give it a try.

The bread and fillings are all made in-house and are very delicious, especially after baking them in the oven. Highly recommended, worth trying, the menu is in Chinese.

Extreamly good food, polite staff. Just cant believe its took this long for me to find it! Look forward to trying other items on the menu like phò. What a hidden gem!

I have been customer of the shop since the 1st day. The quality of the food is great and consistent. They have the best banhmi I have ever tried in UK with authentic Southern flavour. And of course not to mention the incredible friendliness of the staff.

I ordered 2 BBQ sandwiches and had to wait 40 minutes and when I asked about my order he didn't even know and had an attitude towards me.

Was a bit skeptical about this place after walking in, but it was 100% worth it. Bahn mi was very tasty. The bread was toasty and good veg/meat/cilantro balance of the sandwich. Generous portion size; meat was literally falling out of the sandwich. Would return and recommend.

Best Banh Mi outside of Vietnam. I popped to Birmingham and had 2 in 2 days it was that good. The pickled vegetables were the perfect level without being too vinegary, the flavours were authentic and the bread crunchy on the outside and soft inside. I will dream about this sandwich for a long time.

- One of the best tasting banh mi in the UK, also portion size is great. However they’ve raised the price now :( - Service used to be better when the owner and the Chinese lady was behind the till. I think now they’ve hired some new younger staffs? During my last visit the staffs were chatting and blasting music rather loudly behind the till. I’d understand if there are no customers in the shop but there obviously are so it was rather off-putting. As a service worker myself I feel the need to leave a constructive feedback.

I ordered one 'Banh mi Sai Gon Thap cam'. I don't think it was authentic but it was not too bad either. I thought there were a lot of dish options in the menu; however, only banh mi and sticky rice were available when I was there.

Banh mi was very nice, bread was extra crispy and the tofu was crispy and flavoursome. You can add chilli sauce to it to taste. The iced coffee was strong but the condensed milk balanced out the bitter notes, very satisfying.

As background I grew up next to a large Vietnamese community called little Saigon in Southern California. The places I tended to get my Banh Mi were typically filled with Vietnamese customers. The first thing I enjoyed with their sandwiches was the bread. The bread here was not bad but a typical baguette. What set the Vietnamese baguettes apart was the addition of rice flour which made them very light and crispy. I could eat a baguette on its own. Unavailable chilies was a surprise as it was a standard ingredient. Never were they oily or sweet as this was. Being in the heart of china town I thought it would be more authentic.

Lovely little place I discovered recently. My BBQ Piggy banh mi was delicious, filled to the brim with plenty of flavour, a bit of spice, in a lovely crusty bread. Great for a quick lunch while down in the Birmingham China Town. Who needs Subway when you have banh mi?

I got the peppa bull and the durian soup. Both were really delicious. The food tastes fresh and flavourful. I recommend visiting! The people serving me were really accommodating and sweet too <3

Nice little banh mi shop, close to the bullring and china town. Love Vietnamese food, and have scoffed countless banh mi's over the years and this is hands down one of the best I've had outside of Vietnam. Great fillings, really good bread and a perfect lunch on the go. They sell other food too, however this is all I was after. Hard to rate the atmosphere as quite a small place, but super friendly staff and pleasant seating. Definitely coming back!

I lived in Vietnam for a while and the Banh Mi here is the closest I’ve had to an authentic banh mi in the UK, better than the ones I’ve had in London! Lady serving was friendly. The bread is light and Crispy, meat is flavourful overall a good balance of meat, veg and pate. Would highly recommend.

Simply delicious lunch time bite. And a big bite at that 😋 Delicious hot baguette, feeled to the brim with salad and bbq pork. Freshly baked and ready to go. Just right for a spot of lunch (or light dinner).

My first ever Banh Mi experience and it was amazing. The bread was soft, warm and crusty, I had the bbq pork filling and it was delicious, filled to the brim with pork and fresh salad, it was very more-ish and did not disappoint. The staff were friendly, welcoming & helpful with their recommendations. The manager came out to greet and showed her homemade desserts, it was nice to have such a welcoming experience within the small business. Highly recommend and will definitely be back again.

I had a really nice baguette for lunch, I chose one of the pork options, Nr.3, with 3 types of pork and it was very yummy 👏🥖

This was my first time having Bành Mi in the UK and it almost reminded me of my Vietnam trip. Definitely not like the best ones I had in Vietnam but it was very good. I am not aware of other places serving Bành Mi in the city, but do visit this one for an authentic experience.

Banh mi was good and lots of meat and filling but their dessert mixed che, I wouldn't even call it proper vietnamese dessert che, no fruit in there, no red bean, they put kidney beans in there instead and all the jelly tasted the same, just looked different

We visited here on a Friday night around 7:30pm. I must say that the service was very welcoming and friendly. The food was fresh and tasty Vietnamese food. Do try a chicken baguette roll these are absolutely fantastic. Nice quiet atmosphere in Chinatown.

Delicious Banh-Mi and summer rolls for a reasonable price!

Me and my husband come at 4pm. My husband ordered "ga u muoi" then the waitress (old lady) said it was out of stock, after that I ordered "bun rieu", waitress still said that it was out of stock. I asked her which one I can order? She checked and answered: just banh mi is available for now. So waste my time, why they did not tell us from beginning???

I've never understood why people go crazy for bahn mi until sampling theirs. Atmosphere isn't exactly great as you're above a Vietnamese supermarket but I'd eat food this tasty on a toilet seat. We'll be back.

Hidden gem inside a Vietnamese supermarket. Delicious banh mi, everyone who ever tried a banh mi will crave it once in a while. The owner produces all ingredients herself, and you can taste that. Especially the bread is usually hard to get, feels like back in vietnam. Highly recommended!

The best authentic Vietnamese food and drink experience outside of Hanoi, can't expess how highly I recommend Mi Banh Mi. The food is amazing, the staff are wonderful and Mi is lovely accommodating to everyone to make your experience special. Authentic and super yummy banh mi. The bread was soft and crusty at the same time - just like the ones we had when we’re in Vietnam. Generous fillings and loved the taste of the slightly sweet butter against the savoury pork, pickle veggies and chilli sauce. Would definitely come back - can’t wait to try the other items on the menu!

It doesn’t get more authentic. Situated upstairs from an Asian grocer, a lovely lady sources her ingredients in real time from the store when making your meal. I had the Sai Gon special (#3) - delicious

I miss my Banh Mi and this place hits the spot. I haven’t tried any in London but so far this is the best one I have had in the UK. Been here for 3 years. Price is great. Bread has a good crisp and still soft in the middle. Also had the Bun Cha and the sauce was the bomb. Smokey flavor.

The banh mi here are so good. Bread very crispy and thin just like the real deal. Was not busy, probably because not many know about this place. Definitely visit if you are fan of banh mi.

Got to know the brand from the Vietnamese Cultural Show yesterday in Aston SU. Hope the bread is more crunchy and a bit less dense. other than that, the taste is perfect. Love their tào phớ soft tofu and chè ba màu so much. Defo will come back.

Bread and toppings very tasty, the menu offers a good variety of toppings including rice and noodle dishes. However, for me the Banh Mi is a must try.

I bought the chargrilled bbq pork baguette and have found a few of what look clearly like either dog or cat hair due to the length and the colour. This is horrible in term of food hygiene. Would not buy from this place again.

Great place for banh mi, probably the best I've had in the UK. Well worth a visit! Prices are reasonable too (except maybe for the iced coffee...). Place is tucked away inside a Vietnamese supermarket, but plenty of tables and seating. Friendly Veitnamese owner too! Hope to return.

Very good banh mi, authentic mayo, pâté and bread with a good choice of meats. Mi heated it up before serving which made the bread nice and crispy. Mi was also very friendly and chatted a lot whilst making the food. Will return for more lunches when visiting Birmingham!

Authentic Bahn Mi baguette, the right crisp skin, chewiness and texture. Tell Subway to close down. This is the only sandwich you'll ever need.

Their bahn mi was absolutely delicious, the women at the counter was very nice and smiley, made us feel very welcome. I will be coming back :))
