Antepli in Birmingham

I definitely not recommend. The taste and product quality is very low!! The store name is “Antepli” and I would expect high level of taste of Baklava of course. But its not. Sorry.

Probably the best milk cake in the area. Tried them a few times now and not disappointed yet. Reasonably priced and good quality. Give them a go if in the area. Tried Künefe as well but it was ready made and needed a 30s blast in the microwave.

This used to be my favourite spot for a nice tea and baklava, one of the best dessert places I could find in Birmingham. However, since the change in management, things have gone downhill. The new owners are not hospitable, and neither is the staff they hired. They seem clueless about pricing and serving. One staff member took offence when I asked for Turkish tea. He explained they now only serve Kurdish tea, but it came from the same machine as before. The utensils were not clean. Previously, the cheese kunafa was heated up and served nicely, but now it’s just put on a plate and handed over. This place has really gone downhill. I hope the new owners don't ruin the reputation built by the previous owners through their excellent service, high-quality taste, and professional approach.

One of the best dessert places in Birmingham. For Authentic Arabic desserts, I personally recommend this spot

It has nothing to do with Antep. Only sweetness enters the body

In Türkiye this would be a 1 Star, in London this would be a 2 Star Desert in Birmingham it’s a 3, you can’t get the real Turkish Gaziantep taste in West Midlands but this will do. Very average and tastes stale & bitter unfortunately.

Used to come here often, but now with everything happening in Britain staff is give me attitude, making me wait and ignoring me and dont feel welcomed here any more. So you lads know, Im not British, Im from Northern Europe and dot get involved with politics here. Give your staff advice: Instead of assuming, open polite conversation, aggression and hate just creates more aggression and hate. That was not 1st time, I gave you lot chance and you worked overtime to give me attitude and show your real face. This was at least 4th time I felt like I should not be coming here.. Most of you are racist and hateful. Prove me and rest of world wrong, you cant.

This Shop is fantastic! The desserts are delicious, and it's a perfect spot to chat with friends. Friendly staff and a cozy atmosphere make it a must-visit. Highly recommend!

Best baklava ever in Birmingham and basbosa As well 5 star for everything but service Id say 4 star because 2 times I asked for 1kg of baklava and the price is different from person to person and on top of that they add a bot more of what you asked for and charge you for it so if someone asks for 1kg please give them 1kg not more not less

***HIGHLY RECOMMENDED*** The best Baklava I have had from here. They make it with a lot of care. I ordered a large quantity for about 200 people, and every piece was amazing. Everyone who ate it, praised it. The owner and workers are lovely to speak with always give you small pieces to taste which is such a lovely touch. Cute little coffee place on Coventry road. Has a wide range of desserts and coffee. The seating area is lovely and cosy.

Usually here to have tea and baklava, nice stuff also fresh sweets..

The lad, who barely spoke English, was quite rude and stared us down until we actually left the place. When we asked if our kunafe could be warmed up, as he was doing with other food/desserts in the microwave behind him, he made his feelings "clear" on that request by waving his hand and saying something to the like of "no not this one". Needless to say we won't be returning nor do we recommend this place.

Was a big fan of the filled breads but after the changes made when I recently purchased, I was heavily disappointed. The meat used is nows sprinkled on the top and little is used. The fact that the breads are no longer filled leads to them being dried out and chewy. Overall,very disappointed

Not only do they sell Delicious sweets. Anteplisweets manager is very charitable he, didn’t hesitate when asked if he would like to donate food towards charity event and the staff are very nice and friendly. I love this place the decor is beautiful just like being in Turkey.

Absolutely 💯! We ordered a coffee with 3 pieces of mixed baklava. Tasted amazing. The servers were extra accommodating by allowing my children to try before we bought Turkish Delight to take back home. Will visit again. Decor is good and has a super relaxed atmosphere. Parking a problem near by but Morrisons car park a short walk away.

Great food...great staff.. ma shaa Allah. Me and my friends went today just to try it out. Lady recommended some food...everything was tasty and well cooked particularly the meat manakiesh (not sure how you spell it). Definitely (in shaa Allah) will be going back for more 👍 😋
