Mexi Bean Express in Kirklees

We ordered for 5pm because we wernt going to be in them they delivered at 4pm and luckily we gad just got in 5 mins before,we ordered plain wings and got burnt spicy wings and the wrong sauce.

None of the meals came with their sauces and 1 x can of soda missing. Disappointing considering the price.

10/10 scran. Will definitely be back

The food was delicious, but I was a bit disappointed I didn't get my drink, these things happen sometimes, but at least the food was tasty and very filling!

This is the second time I've ordered from Mexi, and they keep missing items with no compensation for their mistakes. Never ordering here again

Menu looked pricey, but there was loads of it, actually good value for money. Ready right on time and friendly staff. Food was great quality, first order but will be back again.

Wow! Food was absolutely amazing!!

Took 1.5 hours, ordered the halloumi quesadilla which was cold, only 2 sticks of halloumi in the quesadilla which were rock hard.

food took 2.5 hours to come, when it did the request for no jalapenos wasn't followed so I was unable to eat it. the halloumi was also cold and rock solid

been waiting for 2 and a half hours for my food. called the restaurant 3 times and they havnt even picked up. horrendous customer service

Absolutely fantastic Mexican food! The nachos were packed with flavour, especially the chilli. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The restaurant has a great vibe with its Day of the Dead theme, and everything was clean and well-presented. Plenty of options for vegetarians and gluten-free diets too. Definitely a must-visit for Mexican food lovers in Huddersfield!

How this place is still open is beyond me. Burrito was slop no meat pure rice n goo.assive order stuffed into a tiny little bag with cold pop slapped on top of the warm food. Mexican rice? Zero flavour. Loaded fries tiny portion worth a quid not ten.

The food was tasty. Apart from the chips which were somehow piping hot but not cooked. It took just shy of two hours to reach me so I won't be in a rush to order again.

Ordered through uber eats. Over 3 hours ago and it still hasn’t arrived, after speaking to them on the phone 3 times and being promised certain times it would arrive. Useless. Particularly for such an expensive takeaway, over £70 in total.

it took almost an hour for my food to be delivered for it to be cold. i ordered the chicken burrito and cheesy tots. there was a total of 5 tots that were soggy and cold. the burrito ( for £13 ) was 99% rice, and was dry. the chicken inside the burrito tasted like fish so fish was clearly made on the same grill beforehand without cleaning in between. i asked for extra queso which cost £2 and i didn’t receive any. they also got my drink order wrong. wouldn’t order from here again.

Food was good but they used halloumi dippers in the quesadilla and it wasn’t nice at all I was expecting just halloumi as the breadcrumbs went soggy and I wasted my money by not eating it.

Food arrived over an hour late. "loaded" hotdogs are a plain hotdog with chips and a stick of cheese. Halloumi tacos are 2 cheese sticks in a tortilla and not a lot else. gutted because this place used to be so good

I always get food from here and its always so good it was just one time I ordered food and they didn't deliver it and I got no food.

Been here a few times, the food is mostly tasty but seems inconsistent. Recently there has been the most minimal amount of meat in everything (sometimes none when there is supposed to be), so the prices definitely don’t justify what you receive but it’s not terrible

Food was nice, I was surprised it wasn’t Cold though. I wasn’t able to contact the takeaway to see where my order was via phone call for some reason. It just never went through or they put the phone down on me. So don’t think it was courier’s fault that food was late maybe just the takeaway instead. Also couldn’t track courier so I couldn’t tell if my order was even remotely close to where I was. I was waiting about two hours for it to come due to delays.

Driver didn’t put in address on Google Maps - arrived over half an hour late and completely cold.

Disappointed. small portions for the price of the meal, ordered 2 coke zeros and recieved Diet Coke which neither of us like, the £8 guac with pomegranate and feta had 0 flavour and no pomegranate,no flavour to any of the food,won’t order again

Waiting an exceptionally long time for food. Food cold and soggy. Not good at all.

Really gutted, first few orders were exceptional, tasted fresh and perfect, we won't be ordering again now, the last 3 orders have taken a long time (close to 2 hours) to arrive and the quality has dropped dramatically, no longer fresh, tastes premade, Luke warm, missing items, a massive shame. Please stop re-frying the wings over and over (which are no longer jumbo). A victim of their own success maybe :( - A positive is they did try to rectify (the driver ended up making three trips)

The food tasted ok but was lukewarm by the time it arrived. The order did not arrive until nearly three hours after we had order it. When the first delivery time passed we messaged them and they added an extra hour to the estimated delivery. Unfortunately, they did not even make this time slot and when we asked for a partial refund they replied by saying no and that they were “busier than expected”. Three hours to deliver two meals is not ok. Save your money and go somewhere else!!

Rice in the burrito was so hard it was unable to be eaten, the food generally lacked in flavour and had no spice at all. Portion sizes were far too small for the cost.

I’ve ordered from here a few times and never had a problem however last nights food quality was dismal, I paid for a £25 cheese box it had missing items when I complained they said they had ran out and substituted it with extra chips (for the taquitos) however I wasn’t made aware otherwise I would have cancelled they also forgot the jalapeño poppers and had to come back, I wouldn’t normally complain however £25 is a lot for sub standard

The food itself was really nice but the order was late and there wasn’t much of it for the price paid

We ordered our food at 5:30 and it said it would be an hour we didn’t get our order until 7:45 however the food was still warm and the quality was amazing

The portions are very stingy. The burrito bowl with chilli had the tiniest bit of chilli and toppings. The rest was rice. The chicken fajita hardly had any chicken. The churros hardly had any sauce. The price is ridiculous for what you get.

Portions very small for the price mostly dry chewy rice. Very disappointed with the greasy soggy offering that is being sent out as a hearty healthier alternative to a standard takeaway. Not only charged almost £50 for 4 meals that’s are such a let down but then and missing drink too as if they need to scrimp on costs with the exorbitant amount charged for the slip sent.

Food was shocking. The people working there to talk to were polite and friendly but the food 🤢 dry chewy rice greasy soggy tortillas. Just a real disappointment all round for all the family. Not sure if the chap leaving 5 stars at is paid, family or what because if not his bar is set realllllly low. I honestly expected something good for £50 meal ticket for 4 of us.

Amazing food incredible service and so fast

Tacos were made amazing, ordered the bottomless tacos, got the lamb, chicken tinga, halloumi and bbq chicken. Managed to knock back 9 tacos but by far the best filling was the lamb then chicken tinga. The staff were super friendly and nice, giving us refills on tortilla chips and dips. Always checked in with us to make sure the food was alright and offered the lamb sauce as a dip to go with the lamb birria taco.

We came last week and the food was amazing! I could not recommend this place enough! Service was excellent! Taco’s was mouthwatering 🤤🤤

Ordered a surprise bag on 'Too Good to Go' app which claimed that you receive £15.00 for £5.00. This is a lie and misleading, the Naked Burrito bowl that was received (3 of us ordered a surprise bag), is valued at £11.11. The food was bland in flavour and was basically a bowl of sweet rice. Neither of us will be going back

Well over an hour late. Today's service was abysmal. I called about my order being late & was told it would only be a few minutes, it was an extra 15 minutes on top of that! & when I opened my food it was ice cold, the halloumi fries were crushed & full of oil, the portion of tots were tiny in comparison to previous orders & the chicken fajita was absolutely vile, there was hardly & chicken within the portion just peppers & the chicken I did have was full of gristle & even an artery. NEVER AGAIN

The burrito was small and not made well could t taste biscoff was basically chips in a wrap ! Churros nice but the plastic chocolate pot had melted onto them so chocolate everywhere and plastic , not worth half of what was paid

After taking two hours to be delivered, for a £70 order, the food was horrible and a complete rip off, got chicken fajitas with 2 tiny pieces of chicken (which was not good quality at all) and the rest was onion in a bowl (photo added of this). The burger had no sauce on it, the burrito had one small piece of chicken in it. They missed some of our order off the delivery. Don’t like leaving bad reviews but this is unacceptable standards. Will not be coming back

RIP OFF! The chicken fajitas had hardly any chicken, the chicken burrito was small with also hardly any chicken! For £70 for 4 people the food served was very underwhelming! Service wise also terrible 2 hours to deliver the food then forgot the tots and guacamole from the order. I would save your time and money and stay away!

food was lovely and can't fault the quality but the delivery was over an hour late. when the first delivery didn't turn up we had to contact just eat for an update the restaurant didn't let us know. we received no apology or explanation for the delay - We got our food two hours after the order was placed

Really disappointed with my order. I have eaten in multiple times and the staff are friendly but always seem understaffed. We ordered food this evening, had to call after an hour to check on our order as we had not heard anything since confirmation. Once our order arrived, every single part of a £50 order was wrong. We ordered quesedilla and did not receive it, just four plain wraps! We ordered nachos with chicken tinga, it was missing cheese and had no chicken. We ordered a large loaded tots and received a regular loaded fries. By the time the food arrived it was cold. I feel for the staff working as they have always been lovely, but this is not good enough... especially considering the price. I have applied for a refund through uber and tried to call the restaurant but there was no answer. After many visits I will not be eating here again.

First time I placed an order over the phone for collection the woman on the phone said I would get 20% off. On collection I went to pay and the bill didn’t include the 20% discount. I asked why the discount hadn’t been applied to the bill and she said that it was eat in only (yet she new it was a collection order when she told me I would get 20% off). So I was extremely annoyed about that. Gave them the benefit of doubt and order again another time. This time I order 2x lamb taco collected them and realised it was missing the birria sauce ( the most important ingredient used in any tacos if you ask me). They didn't inform me when I placed my order and still on collection there was no mention. So my tacos were dry and missing the main ingredient. Reached out to online support, who refused to do anything about it. Will definitely never order from there again. Don’t waste your time extremely over priced, staff don’t have a clue what they are doing ( run by very young people who are clueless)they lie and refuse to fix issues they have made.

What an amazing ambience. My family loves Mexican food and during our visit to Huddersfield where we tasted Tacos and burritos bowls. Quality food and good value for money. The staff was welcoming also. Highly recommended.

Awful food, burrito is a packet of microwave rice wrapped up with no chicken, everything was cold and uncooked. For the price they are charging it’s an absolute joke don’t bother

Uncooked chicken raw and bloody in the middle. Email sent to a spurious address as I was asked to do by unhelpful staff. Contacted FoodHub too and…..nothing. I will expect a refund at the least.Do not use this is as uncooked chicken is dangerous! Update….take away agreed a partial refund of £7.99 for the uncooked chicken. This was part of a £40.00 meal. If you go to a restaurant and something was wrong with a meal would you get a partial refund??? Never again, unhelpful staff, dreadful system do not use a take away that does not take complaints seriously or public health and safety.

Asked to make sure all was in there. Missing both the drinks and missing the cheese bites. Collected as delivery was going to be an hour and it’s still managed to be cold on collection. Tried calling resteraunt and nobody answering even though was dead when we collected. Should have known as reviews said would be missing and cold!
