Went for a friends birthday bottomless brunching, staff were all lovely despite it being so busy. Food went down well with everybody, was really good

Best place I've been for a bottomless brunch by far, both staff and the bouncer are really sound, never a time where your drink is low if you want another just ask, the music is always great too, the DJ's in are always great, the price is extremely reasonable for what you are getting too, so I definitely recommend! 11/10! If you are thinking of trying Mex Bar, do it you won't be disappointed!

Nice bar originally, rude bouncers made the experience worse paired with dirty toilets with wee all over, dust on and around the bar, I also had a dirty glass which didn’t help, rude manager cursing out customers (including myself) I was asked to leave due to an incident not involving myself which was a misunderstanding and I was approached by a very aggressive bouncer, I asked to talk to the manager (which he told me I wasn’t allowed to) when I realised the manager was a young lady who had snatched my full drink off me right in the middle of the bar with no words spoken. Furthermore, I felt intimidated by the bouncer who was becoming increasingly aggressive as I tried to explain my situation. In the end I left with no further arguments but was rather shook up by the whole experience, especially the manager whom took me by surprise with her rudeness and aggressiveness. Not a great way to serve a paying customer who wasn’t even involved in a “situation”. Will not be returning anytime soon.

Been coming to the mex brunch for a while and I’ve always recommend this place as it used to be so good and the service used to be great. But I went with a friend last night on bank holiday Saturday and it was terrible. The service was shocking. We was there 2 hours and got about 3 drinks!! The food was ok but the garlic bread was rock hard and couldn’t hardly bite it. I don’t normally write reviews but I was so shocked and annoyed as I was so looking forward to the brunch and it was rubbish. Like I say it used to be good, but every time I go it gets worse and worse. And I don’t think I will be going again.

Always been my favourite spot for a brunch. Recommended alot of friends and family to come here. However Saturday 30th March was the worst brunch I’ve ever been on, waiting time for drinks felt like a lifetime. Had to repeatedly go to the bar for drinks when normally staff are walking around to serve you or take your drinks orders. The food was shocking in particular Garlic Bread what was burnt and tasted like cardboard. You can tell it’s gone down hill so much the bar was dead with hardly any people in. Real shame.

Absolutely disgusting, my partner and a friend came in here and a member of staff started on my partner. My partner did not do anything to retaliate and was told aggressively to leave . Will not be going in here again

If your face doesn't fit don't expect the staff to serve you, laughable really.

My granddaughter had her 18th birthday party there last night and all the guests were not happy with the food it was that bad that they went for a carvery this should not have happened I'm not sure how much was spent per person but it was a lot of money

Love it here Been twice and this time went for my birthday brunch and honestly i love it. The atmosphere is amazing, foods amazing and the drinks are great. The service is 10 out of 10 for me. We had Chloe look after us on 22nd July and she was amazing serving 10 of us. I think it should be extended to 3 hours as 2 hours just isnt enough sometime 😊🤣

15 of us went for bottomless brunch and the whole experience was an absolute joke to be honest. One of our party was disabled and we couldn't get them up the stairs to the brunch even though I had rang and made sure they were aware of this, I asked if we could have the brunch downstairs a women replied with well no my staff work up here for the brunch. Another member of staff downstairs said this was not a problem and he would look after us personally, the women I had originally spoke to then came and started shouting at this member of staff for allowing it she then commenced talking about our group loudly in a horrible manor, told us we couldn't eat outside but then staff served the food to the outdoor tables. There was no toilet seats, the hand dryer didn't work, the bar was sticky, the chairs were stained and tatty the place needs a little TLC. The saving grace was the staff working on the bar downstairs they were polite, helpful and made us feel welcome. Who ever the lady is in charge of the brunch needs getting rid of she was rude, unprofessional, discriminatory and just had no time for anyone. The whole experience was dreadful and very off putting.

12 of us came for brunch, told they could offer us a buffet. We thought amazing. They brought out 4 pizzas, one bowl of chips, 2 portions of chicken strips and 2 portions of onion rings. asked for more food and they kept saying they were checking and received nothing. Hungry!

My first brunch had a great night. Thank you Sarah for looking after us not easy you been so busy and not a lot of staff. My only negative is if you go wrap up this place is freezing and I mean freezing.

Dreadful experience.Booked bottomless brunch well in advance in February detailing 3 members of a large party of 11 were lactose intolerant. Was told this would be fine, messaged a week in advance warning of the booking and lactose free members again — asking for menus as was worried about lacto free- was told they offer gluten free bases and vegan cheese. On night after placing my order of vegan cheese was told we don't have vegan cheese- so I spoke to what believed was the manager and she was lovely apologetic and said we would be sorted out as was looking at sourcing some vegan cheese elsewhere. Due to all this one member on my table didn't get her ordered food -we presumed they thought she was vegan too. After a while I was told they was no vegan option and the vegan people could get there's half price — at this point the person on my table still hadn't had her food and other table hadn't ordered. In end one person didn't even get any food and the vegans got what looked to be like pizza base with tomato puree — which as you can imagine wasn't exactly nice.Due to all this I tried to speak to a member of staff to query the full price,as didn't feel it was fair for the lacto free members to pay anymore then deposit — this member of staff was extremely rude and kept saying well it's half price and you did have food!! So you have to pay for it. In end managed to get price reduced but I will not be going back there,or recommend anyone with allergens to — I do believe you need to train your staff on customer service skills and maybe get them to not be confrontational and say stuff behind people backs to other members of our group -its really not professional.

Bottomless brunch kind of a hilarious mess 🤣 No vegan option as we "forgot" some people still waiting on some food after a good hour. DJ looks like he's having fun though - guess he already ate ✌️

Dreadful experience 2 of us didn't get any food we only had 2 drink during the hole thing. You couldn't take any food that you didn't eat away with you Won't be going again and definitely won't recommend it.

Bottomless brunch is amazing here. All ladies are brilliant never waiting for food or drinks. Food fresh to order and drinks all amazing. I highly recommend thanks girls.

Had bottomless brunch booked at the weekend. Didn't start well as we wasn't booked on there brunch list. However we had paid deposits and had booking confirmation. We was sat down at a random table that hadn't been cleaned, Then moved downstairs then they realise we wasn't this other group then moved back upstairs. Badly organised! We then in the 2 hour BOTTOMLESS brunch had 3 drinks in 2 hours after asking numerous times for re fills as staff passed and was ignored. Empty glasses on the table should be refilled straight away on bottomless brunches which is what happens at all others i have been to in the area! Really poor defo NOT worth the £30 price tag!

Clumsy bar maid, didn't know what she was doing. Took 15 minutes to get 2 cocktails. Understand training but maybe do it while youre not open on a Saturday night.

Half an hour to get served and it was basically empty🤔
