Excellent! Proper Mexican food!! Lovely staff and great music! Best part, they have a nice shop next shop to buy Mexican products, it works to arrived 10 mins earlier and do some shopping!

The food at Mestizo is a delightful mix of traditional and modern Mexican cuisine. The tacos al pastor were perfectly seasoned, with tender pork and a hint of pineapple sweetness. The guacamole, made fresh at the table, was creamy and flavorful. For mains, the mole poblano was rich and complex, though slightly on the sweeter side. The portions were generous, and the presentation was Instagram-worthy.

Great great food, and awesome Spicy Margs. You'll definitely need to book as its very popular because it's an excellent place to eat!

Mestizo Restaurant is very good, we had an excellent service, the waiters was very attentive, especially the waitress Gaby, very good service. As a Mexican, I recommend this place, it is a very good option to give yourself a Mexican treat. I loved the margaritas, they were very good, the mixed molcajete was very delicious, and to finish off, some complimentary shots, I had excellent service to been with family and friends

Amazing, good vibes, happy people and smiley faces. Daniel was amazing and contributed to the vibe even more. The chicken and beef is halal and the food was delicious. The staff made us feel welcome and me and my friend will definitely be returning for the authentic Mexican food and the hospitality. Probably a good place to host a birthday dinner too!!

I was impressed with the food at this restaurant. As Mexican you have to come to terms that Mexican food over here is burritos and nachos. Mestizo has done the best job ! Truly authentic delicious great superb food! Service is great too! Adriana was particularly super caring and fantastic ! Up to Mexican standards. My only comments are about the man that sits people, his attitude could be a little more down to earth, and please don’t rush people to pay the bill. It’s doesn’t match the atmosphere of the restaurant and puts you in a rush. But really apart from that is all perfect! Well done people !!!

What a great place. Everything seemed foreign and unknown, but we asked Adriana for recommendations and she nailed it! She is very knowledgeable and friendly. Food was delicious and unique, we have tried new flavours for the first. Additionally, if you are a margarita cocktail fan, this is a place to be! Very wide and brilliant selection of margaritas and other in-house cocktails.

We had an amazing experience with Adriana and Roger giving us friendly and attentive service. Would recommend 100%. They have the best margaritas in London. Very authentic mexican food. X

Lovely dinner here. The portions were huge - very glad I could share a delicious dessert with my friend. Lots of tasty cocktails- only wish I could have stayed longer to try more. Staff are super super friendly and made my visit very enjoyable.

I am mexican living in London and I can attest this is truthly authentic mexican food! This is NOT a place to eat Nachos, Burritos, nor guacamole, you can have all of that elsewhere. Instead, try... mole, tortilla soup, enchiladas verdes, panuchos, all of the most sustantious mains which ingredients are fully imported from Mexico. Read a bit of the regions where the food come from... this restaurant has a bit of many many regions, and obviously the food will be completly different one to the other... ask for suggestions if you are unsure or do not know about try mexican food. Regarding the service, agree sometimes can be a bit messy, but they will do everything to give you a table even if they are fully booked, they will try to make you happy as they can, if they made a mistake, they will try to make you a compensation in the bill (have done that for me several times) and that level of service and attention should be rewarded and priced! Value for money: is probably one of the better relations I find in london regardless of been a mexican place. This is NOT street food nor a "burritos/taqueria" place, this is a restaurant and portions and good, buffet option on weekends are eccelent relation for money to value, this is even a cheaper option than Chelsea which has the same food and is from the same owners. Drinks: Frozen Margarita is awesome, but have you though about Horchata, Jamaica, a good native Tequila o a good native Mezcal in a cocktail? Probably you have not! I invite you to taste new flavours, take the risk to be open to a different experience of food and drinks and come clean with an open perception. Brunch: Weekends from 12hrs -2pm- ilimited food! Every month: different thematics, February: month of tamales Week-days: Menú Love this place and its people! Tip: Even if its not you bday, ask for the sombrero and the song for your friends, is great fun and they will love to be embarassed.

Delicious and authentic Mexican fare and hospitality from Valencia y Adriana. Loved the addition of the market next door so that we could take the experience home with us. The tamales, taco tray and jamaica margarita were highlights.

As a Mexican, this is my 'go to' place in London if I want to enjoy some authentic Mexican food. I especially enjoy the Sunday brunch, great value for really tasty and traditional cuisine. Really good atmosphere also, attentive service. I have some great memories here!

Nice decor but poor customer service. One waiter in particular was uninterested and on his phone while asking for our order. Another staff member couldn't translate the special menu into English for us and just kept on repeating the Spanish. In the end, frustrated, we tried our luck and ordered. Food was ok, some if it was dry. The margaritas were good though. It was lunchtime, fairly quiet and fully staffed so no excuse for the lack of attention and care. RESPONSE TO REPLY: Your reply is inaccurate and unprofessional. At no point did we make fun of anyones accent and neither were we rude. To say so is deeply offensive. We stayed for the lunch, ate our meal and paid the service charge without complaint. Furthermore, we complimented and gave thanks where due. Please accept the feedback with the sincerity with which it was written. Also, please note, the patrons sitting near us commented on the lack of customer care. We joked about it being part of the experience.

I'm mexican and I came to Mestizo looking for good authentic Mexican food. I wasn't disappointed. Food is delicious, prices are decent, and the service was the best. Daniel our waiter, was pretty attentive, and warm. I highly recommend Mestizo is you are looking for good Mexican food and want to try something different apart from tacos.

The price of the food can be very expensive, it's sad, because the food is amazing, the staff incredible friendly and the atmosphere relaxing. They serve the food very quickly, and the quality it's really great. But really my only complaint is the price, but I guess is London and you have to live the overpriced everything in London

Halal mexican food!! Had a wonderful lunch with my colleagues today!Super tasty food, lovely environment. The dish I had is called Pollo (Chicken) Arriera. 3 chicken steaks on top of thinly sliced sauteed potatoes, courgettes and carrot! I would say the best part was the flavoursome sauce it had with garlic, mexican chilli, green chillis and onion. What a oerfect blend of spices!Absolutely delicious!

I recently visited Mestizo after seeing an Instagram post claiming it was the best place outside of Mexico (and home) to enjoy authentic Mexican food. I must say, it did not disappoint! For starter I had the queso fundido with chorizo, my partner had the empanadas. The main meal we shared the taco tray, which you have a choice for 4 topics, with trimmings such as beans, salsa Verde and salsa. The restaurant staff explains every dish that comes to the table. We somehow had space for desert (even if we didn't the options looked too good to pass!) the churros and the typical tres leches cake. When the bill arrived the staff gave us mini shots of tequila. The food was absolutely delicious, bursting with authentic flavors. The staff were super friendly, making us feel very welcomed. The lively and pleasant atmosphere added to the overall wonderful experience. This is definitely a place I'll be visiting more in the future. Already dreaming about my next meal here!

Would come here again for drinks only, but the food was a let down! After counting 17 different margs on the menu, we knew we had to try this place. The drinks were great- lots of variety and well balanced. Food on the other hand… we ordered the taco tray for 3, which we were drawn to as you can select 4 different filling/ meat options. When it arrived, although the garnishes looked great, the meat (we had chicken, beef and pork in various sauces) all tasted and looked the same! There was no flavour whatsoever. It was all a bit sad and dry, like it had been sat under a heat lamp slightly too long. Service and atmosphere were good and lively.

I arrived a little early for lunch. They wouldn’t let me in, even to sit without eating or drinking . I waited outside for 20 minutes. They said it was “against the law”, which I doubt. They really shouldn’t take table bookings for 12:00 if they aren’t going to unlock the doors a second earlier.

The food here is good, though not mind blowing. I quite enjoyed the tostadas, I thought that every bite really packed a punch. The tamales were interesting: I’d classify it as comfort food, though it lacked some salt imo. The corn tacos were nice, the fillings were okay. A bit pricey for the portions
