10/10 and more if I could. We ordered a variety of traditional dishes, like enchiladas, tamales, cheese and jalapeño croquettes, etc. Nothing disappointed and we left feeling so happy with everything we tried. Everything was vegetarian but plenty of options for everyone. Genuine Mexican flavours. All servers were great. Would love to go back!

Ate here and ordered the taco tray with my partner. Food looks exciting but is very bland and boring in flavour. Serving of taco tray only comes with 5 small tortillas per person and you will be charged for any extra!!! Service is poor, no water offered, extra tortillas took 15 mins to arrive, Waiting staff is grumpy and annoyed when we asked to remove service charge due to poor service listed above!

Fantastic dining experience with Adriana and Daniel. We changed our booking by half an hour and were seated no problem. The food was out of this world.

This place does not serve authentic Mexican food. While the dishes may look colorful and appealing, the flavors and spices were far from authentic. To make matters worse, the service was disappointing—the waiter was rude, rushed us while ordering, and even made snarky comments. Overall, it was a frustrating experience.

Louis served on our six month anniversary. He was fab, always checking on the table and making sure we were all set. Food was fantastic, a must visit. Absolutely the best place to eat in Camden.

Great atmosphere and the cocktails were amazing. Service was excellent and they were very attentive. It was my second time here and again it didnt disappoint. We had no booking but they still made space for us.

My sincere review as a person who enjoys delicious food - only the dessert was worth ordering. After trying out one of the mains, a couple different alcohol free drinks, and a dessert, I was mostly disappointed with my culinary experience at Mestizo. The food is acceptable however not at all mouth watering nor worth the price. The filling of the enchiladas was alright, the toppings were welcomed, yet the sides (beans, potatoes, rice, steamed vegetables) were bland and disappointing. I'm sad to say that some of the food seemed to be supermarket-like quality... In terms of drinks, both the mocktail and the horchata were forgettable, lacking depth and intensity of taste. The dish that saved the evening was the dessert, a lovely tres leches cake which was sweet enough and rich in flavour. I honestly regretted not ordering desserts only, as these seemed to be less likely to cause disappointment. The service was nonetheless pleasant and reactive. I would consider revisiting Mestizo for another dessert and maybe a Margarita.

We had been dying to visit this restaurant and finally made it on 9th December. It exceeded our expectations, with great food, lovely service, and smart and comfortable surroundings. I asked for recommendations for lunch and was so pleased that I did as it was really tasty and like nothing I have tasted before. I have been raving about the restaurant to all my friends and family, and I am already planning another visit. Thanks to everyone who made our meal so great. 👍

Great food and service! The tacos were authentic Mexican (best I’ve had outside Mexico!) and the service was just great and very pleasant. Daniel was our waiter and he was very welcoming and helpful both with the food and drink selection. Highly recommend!

This place is amazing! Came back on a whim after visiting a few years ago, and it was even better than I remembered. The taco tray is perfect for 2 people and great value for money w lots of variety, and the tres leches cake is dreamy. Great drink selection too! Our waiter was attentive and kind, and all the staff were friendly. Can’t rate Mestizo highly enough

Everything that was promised didn’t materialise, table was too small for 7 people having to get up and down to a Sunday buffet. Drinks menus removed before we’d ordered and took too long to get these back to get drinks. Explanation of how buffet worked wasn’t shared with all our group and was very hit and miss. Food was average at best. Really surprised this place has 4+ stars. We were giving the bill when the staff decided it was the end of of service. As it was for a celebratory birthday was all the more disappointing, wouldn’t dream of returning.

Maybe as close as you might get to authentic mexican food. I am well travelled and still can't deny some of the best food I've ever had was in Mexico City. It's a great atmosphere and the staff are very friendly. A great night for a date or with friends, I would recommend.

Best Mexican food in London by far! We got the Mestizo Molcajete to share. Great portion size, the food was piping hot, amazing tortillas. My only complaint was that it was a little bit salty. I can’t wait to come back and try more of the menu.

Great Mexican food with a really lovely vibe.

If you want Mexican food in London, this is the best place without a doubt. It has a very varied menu and a huge tequilas and mezcal bar. It is also good to celebrate birthday or some event. On Sundays they have brunch and there are mariachis. They celebrate all Mexican holidays there, and they decorate the restaurant beautifully depending on the day it is celebrated. They take care of all the details. You can order pitchers of margaritas, and they have a wide variety of flavors. They are delicious. It is preferable to book, especially at difficult times, so you ensure you have a place. Downstairs there is a bar that opens Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights. and some other holidays. They have good music and they sell tacos. You feel in Mexico.

We went to this restaurant for dinner during our stay in London and it was incredible, the food was authentic and very good and the service was spectacular, Daniel and Adriana were very kind, attentive and friendly, all 10! I would recommend it to everyone!

My girlfriend has been looking for an authentic Mexican restaurant and we finally found one that feels just like home. I will be back. Absolutely recommend the tamales and taco tray. The service was excellent, specifically Adriana and Danny. We will be back with family and friends.

Such an amazing spontaneous meal out!! Alberto and Dennis (I think that was their names I am so sorry if I’m wrong!) were fantastic, they made our meal very special and even gave us free tequila at the end! I have now decided to book here for my birthday on the 23rd Nov!! I cannot wait !

We had a super fun evening at Mestizo. We showed up without a reservation on a busy night and the staff did everything they could to accommodate us. They let us taste items before we ordered, which was fantastic, especially since we were dining with kids. They were also super kind when the kids requested a few changes to menu items. We left with happy and full bellies! Margaritas were also excellent. Adriana and Dany were so wonderful - thanks to the whole staff!

We came to dinner for the Day of the Dead. 💀👻💀The best Mexican restaurant in London. Absolutely delicious food, waiters (Luis served us 😊) super nice and professional and a great atmosphere. I also recommend the store next door because they have absolutely all the things you need to make your own Mexican snacks. It was our first time here and I can't wait to go back!!!

It’s very frustrating attending the restaurant after watching the reviews and seeing that the things are not the way it should,I have booked a table in advance to celebrate my birthday,and was one of the big mistakes of the night.between a 2 hours stay at the restaurant at least 30 min was to the order be taken,and even when we asked for the bill we had to ask 2 times and still took another 30 min.on top of that my partner had order me a shot as we saw other people taking,we didn’t asked for them to be free and the waiter was the one who offered saying that is free when is a birthday.he agreed but the shot itself was never brought,and before we left we told him that he had forget and he just ignored both of us. I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant at all. Price is bad Food is bad Service even worst(depending where they sit you,you will have to fish the waiter to your table because they don’t stop or neither check on you,and it’s not because was busy because we could count 5-6 and the issue was not how busy they were. One of worst experiences food wise we had in London.

Went to celebrate my partner’s birthday, food tasteless, arrived on the table after less then 5m , so don’t tell me that is fresh and there is a chef cooking something from fresh ingredients. I’m not complaining about that in particular as I’m Italian probably just different culture , but I had the worst service ever from waiting time to take order like 30m and same to have the bill after i asked twice. Plus the waiter forgot to give the celebrating shot for my partner. When we left no one said goodbye and actually I faced the waiter I asked before for the shot telling him that he forgot and he just ignored me. Buena suerte. Ps they offer me to remove the service but actually I would appreciate more apologies than a discount. The lady that came to take our payment was the only one apologying. But not the waiter or the manager came.
