Nice food, very good service also, we were attended by Daniel and he was very polite and helped us a lot to make the right choose for our food!

Drinks were amazing but food left something to be desired - very dry. Service was fine, one of our servers was lovely and v friendly, the other was super rude. If it’s your birthday they ring a bell and make you wear a sombrero so worth a trip!

It is a place that brings Mexican gastronomy to London, without a doubt it is a place you have to come to if you are in this city, and a tip, ask for Daniel to serve you, he gives a very good service.

I arrived a little early for lunch. They wouldn’t let me in, even to sit without eating or drinking . I waited outside for 20 minutes. They said it was “against the law”, which I doubt. They really shouldn’t take table bookings for 12:00 if they aren’t going to unlock the doors a second earlier.

We had a wonderful time with our family! We shared a Mexican Mixed Molcajete with salsa verde, and it was amazing. The owner was so kind and welcoming the entire time. At the end, we tried the best tequila shot I’ve ever had, "Don Julio - Añejo." Thank you for everything! My mother-in-law was visiting London and left the restaurant with a big smile. The food here is good, though not mind blowing. I quite enjoyed the tostadas, I thought that every bite really packed a punch. The tamales were interesting: I’d classify it as comfort food, though it lacked some salt imo. The corn tacos were nice, the fillings were okay. A bit pricey for the portions

A beautiful discovery! Spectacular flautas and fried queso :) there is a large amount of Margaritas to choose from, I had the "Colada": very good. Perfect service, Daniel made us feel at home :) Thank you, we will definitely be back soon!

Possibly the best Mexican food I've had on this side of the Atlantic.

We arrived cold and hungry, we went in to see what was going on and we got the best surprise in London. If you want to feel understood and very well cared for, ask for Daniel, he will know how to receive you. The warmth of the food and the atmosphere is unmatched, it is the Latin warmth that we needed to warm our hearts. Greetings from Argentina!! The best place in London by far! Long live Mexico!

Unexpected find for husbands birthday thanks to @timeout recommendation. Fun atmosphere surprisingly good food, not the cheapest Mexican, great choice of margaritas, also an interesting shop next door

Everything was going well, until we asked for the check. We had about 7 waiters asking us to pay in 5 minutes and kept rudely interrupting us from calculating each person's bill. If they would have given us a moment of quiet, it would have been done much faster. No doubt we will NOT return.

Gracias por la deliciosa comida! This restaurant was one of the highlights of our trip to the UK and was the most delicious Mexican food we've ever had. The staff are wonderful and the food is amazing! The freshly made guacamole was the best I've eaten and I highly recommend the flautas and empanadas. We wanted to try something new so the staff suggested the molcajete - incredible! We had pastel de queso y coco and pastel 3 leche for dessert which were also fantastic. The aguas frescas were the perfect non alcoholic drinks to pair with the spicy (and non spicy) cuisine. Another wonderful bonus was their store next door. I was able to get my favourite Mexican hot chocolate. My partner and I live in Japan but the next time we visit the UK, we will return.

Amazing service by Daniel and Luis

The service was fantastic once we sat down and we enjoyed a delicious mango margarita at 50% off! Restaurant has a cafe style layout, wooden chairs and tables. I ordered chicken mole poblano with potatoes and beans. The mole sauce had a slightly bitter aftertaste - not sure if it was cooking too long, or if it was the ingredients but it wasn't as enjoyable as I hoped. The Tres Leches dessert was fantastic. Overall I'd try the restaurant again but order something else. It's gluten free which is why I visited with a friend who has an allergy. She ordered tamales and they tasted really nice.

Very disappointing food quality and quantity, especially the taco tray for two people. This is £18 pp and the portion for 2 had barely food for 1. Everything else was really basic in terms of flavours.

We ordered a variety of traditional dishes, like enchiladas, tamales, cheese and jalapeño croquettes, etc. Nothing disappointed and we left feeling so happy with everything we tried. Everything was vegetarian but plenty of options for everyone. Genuine Mexican flavours. All servers were great. Would love to go back!

I ordered delivery of Beef Arrachera Quesadilla and Chicken Tinga Quesadilla. It taste absolutely awful. No spices or what so ever as mentioned in the menu. Picture attached please tell me if you will eat it if you receive something like that. I ordered 4 of them and not edible. It is cold supermarket tortilla filled with plain cheese and meat/chicken. So shocked and disappointed. I wished I made something home, it won't cost that much. £26 for kids food, even kids will not eat. Not RECOMMENDED.

Louis served on our six month anniversary. He was fab, always checking on the table and making sure we were all set. Food was fantastic, a must visit. Absolutely the best place to eat in Camden.

This place does not serve authentic Mexican food. While the dishes may look colorful and appealing, the flavors and spices were far from authentic. To make matters worse, the service was disappointing—the waiter was rude, rushed us while ordering, and even made snarky comments. Overall, it was a frustrating experience.

My sincere review as a person who enjoys delicious food - only the dessert was worth ordering. After trying out one of the mains, a couple different alcohol free drinks, and a dessert, I was mostly disappointed with my culinary experience at Mestizo. The food is acceptable however not at all mouth watering nor worth the price. The filling of the enchiladas was alright, the toppings were welcomed, yet the sides (beans, potatoes, rice, steamed vegetables) were bland and disappointing. I'm sad to say that some of the food seemed to be supermarket-like quality... In terms of drinks, both the mocktail and the horchata were forgettable, lacking depth and intensity of taste. The dish that saved the evening was the dessert, a lovely tres leches cake which was sweet enough and rich in flavour. I honestly regretted not ordering desserts only, as these seemed to be less likely to cause disappointment. The service was nonetheless pleasant and reactive. I would consider revisiting Mestizo for another dessert and maybe a Margarita.

We had been dying to visit this restaurant and finally made it on 9th December. It exceeded our expectations, with great food, lovely service, and smart and comfortable surroundings. I asked for recommendations for lunch and was so pleased that I did as it was really tasty and like nothing I have tasted before. This place is amazing! Came back on a whim after visiting a few years ago, and it was even better than I remembered. The taco tray is perfect for 2 people and great value for money w lots of variety, and the tres leches cake is dreamy. Great drink selection too! Our waiter was attentive and kind, and all the staff were friendly. Can’t rate Mestizo highly enough
