Food waa absolutley freezing when it came rang up staff snotty on the phone would not order from here again

Food was lovely will order again

Went here after arriving home from holiday and had a great meal with salt and pepper box c,and sweet and sour chicken, chips are hot and crispy

Ordered steak and kidney pie dinner.....pie was microwaved, chips were frozen shop bought ones deepfried in a wok and gravy was discusting, bisto type but so watery! Can't really call it a chippy, more like a cafe. Didn't get asked if wanted salt and vinegar either. A big let down, obvs didn't eat it

Chips tasted like bad oven chips. The pie tasted strange too. Will not return.

Used for the first time tonight had a beef chow mein and a chicken chow mein (not both for me) both were lovely. Had plenty off meat in and cooked to perfection

Ordered from here last night, it arrived quickly but it was cold and everything tasted soapy and was undercooked. Neither myself or my fiance could eat it. Our housemate managed half a chip and said they were horrendous. I've never left a review before but it was honestly the worst takeaway I've ever had and I woke up this morning feeling ill. We ordered through JustEat but can't leave a review on there because they haven't marked it as delivered.

Very nice food friendly service and high standards of hygiene would highly recommend

Polite staff and tasty food but unnecessarily small portion of Chow Mein for the price paid.

Wish I could minus a star just awful food and customer service

The boss is nice and the food is cheap and plentiful.

I am yet to have a bad meal from here, and can highly recommend the Kung Po Chicken!!

China House in Liverpool doesn’t even deserve 1 star for my order from 15/01/2019. I was given a sweet and sour chicken meal that made me sick. I reached out to Just Eat because they were the partner-contact available through chat and the restaurant doesn’t have email or text available. Just Eat could not contact the restaurant to deal with my complaint as it was closed, so they asked me to get back to them the next day. I did not want a replacement anyway because it would be more food and I was already feeling sick from it. I spent 5 days back and forth with Just Eat trying to sort a refund for the meal from China House. I felt I shouldn’t have to pay for food that was prepared improperly in such a way that it made me sick. The chicken tasted odd, had a chewy texture, and felt undercooked. I had only eaten about 5 or 6 small pieces before stopping, realising that it was undercooked and due to feeling like I was going to get sick. I had to reconnect with Just Eat multiple times each day so they would continue trying to contact the owner via phone but it took them 5 days because the owner kept dodging the calls. ( no one answered the phone, or would say call back too busy, or the owner said call back in 10 min., etc. etc. ). On day 5, one agent finally got through and he was told that the owner refused to give a refund “because they (Just Eat) had called them”. Seriously that’s what they said. Don’t order from China House or do so at your own risk. Undercooked chicken can make you seriously ill or even kill you and the owner doesn’t even care. Be safe there are many other places that prepare decent Chinese food and have responsible owners. I will never order from them again and plan to report them to govt standards for safety and hygiene. In the end, because the owner had refused to pay, Just Eat was only able to give me half credit of the amount I had paid to go towards a purchase at another restaurant. So I guess they aren’t really “partners” with any control.

Fab salt n pepper chicken n salt n pepper chips wer gorg n spring rolls lovely best we have had in a long time...deffo go back!!!

Order few times from this takeaway. Come with large portion and fresh meat vegetables. Good value, fantastic tasty. Will definitely come back again. Highly recommend
