Happy to have found a fish n chip bar open in the middle of the afternoon. with really tastey options. Large cod was super sized, had regular cod and other items. Friendly service too.

Unsmiling service, horrible portion of chips at £2.50. The place smelt of stale fat. Don't go, even if you are hungry. Pop into a bread shop instead.

The cod was perfect. Fresh and flaky with good batter. Chips and onion rings good, too. Massive portions, even the small chips. Quick and friendly service. Infinitely better than it was under the previous management.

Cod, not fresh, dubious provenance, soggy batter, chips soggy and flaccid. Never will go here again and we are local, no wonder there was no-one else in there. Threw the lot in a bin.

Lovely food pizza lovely as normal and cookie dough amazing as always and lovely staff phoned up and asked for sauce of salad bar and that’s what I got always amazing service from Pizza Hut restaurant or delivery 🥰

Whites LaneAmazing carvery, with good portion of meat and variety of vegetables. Friendly and helpful staff. Dogs welcome in bar area and outside. Can’t book bar area but plenty of tables when we went in. Pool table was a great extra and bouncy castle in garden.

16 NewgateIt’s over 4 years I order from India Gate and it’s always great! I always get my food delivered or I collect I’ve actually never sat down but I always see the place very busy. The vegetarian food is amazing, the food always arrive piping hot and I can pay by card at the delivery I love it. My favorite take away in beccles!

5 London RoadAs a stranger to the area, checked the website that shows the shop was open. It wasn't so went to the other shop at the other side of town, where the food was excellent ,the staff friendly and very busy, good luck to them. They deserve it.
