Merletto Lounge in Wycombe

Very slow service. There are quite a few staff there, but it looks like they are not bothered about their customers. The food was not nice, and the pitta bread was burned. Ask for a replacement and had to wait a very long time for it. When it finally arrived, the bowl was half full. I would not recommend dining in there. The atmosphere for the beverages is fine, but the food definitely needs to be improved.

Very nice food friendly staff and polite

My new favourite place, I say new but we've been many times in the last year. Took a big group yesterday and were more than looked after. If you're gluten-free or have other food allergies or intolerance, this is the place to go.

Middle of the week, early evening, nice easy going atmosphere. Ordered at table with swift service. No complaints on the food. Great evening.

Ordering simple and easy online, but asking for a tip before the service has started is a pretty rude assumption, especially when service was so slow. Although busy, the drinks alone took nearly 20 minutes to arrive and after 35 minutes we had to chase the food. However the food itself was incredible and stopped the 1 star we wanted to leave. More cheerful staff, more informed service and less presumptuous tips might help.

The restaurant provides a variety of food. Taste good with reasonable prices.

From the very plush outset to some quirky yet cosy seating arrangements, i must say it is a lovely place, lovely staff & a joy in the summer to sit outside. Edit.. Recently frequented this establishment again as i have since giving them a 5 star review. A few days back I had a drink outside and was assaulted and abused by a horrible drunk couple that for the first time in 50yrs, I left my drink without having any & reported this couple to management, they told me nothing could be done as its my word against there's!? Although I've just arrived & am leaving within a minute of getting my order & thier CCTV does not pick up where I was being abused.. and had been a customer there for 2 years. Good luck.

Food was lovely friendly atmosphere

Paid £10 for an awful stack of pancakes that were drowning in a sour berry compote, they were soggy and vile. Payment taken in advance and no one came asking if the food was OK so just left as no one seemed to care.

New favourite place! Have been a few times and the Service is friendly, lovely big setting with air con and outdoor options. Easy to order at bar or on app. Great good and really love all the no-alcohol options for drinks! Highly recommend!

food was delicious, the young lad that took the order was polite and helpful but the manager was sat down the entire time had her mates coming in and and out leaving a baby with her fussing over that rather then doing her job. no check back was done at all and both the manager and girl working looked like they didn’t want to be there

Went there on Tapas Tuesday. 3 tapas and a glass of wine per person for just over £13. Great value, and the tapas were well presented and tasty. The prwans and the squid were epscially good. We were lucky enough to sit outside, which is great as it's in the pedestrianised zone. But inside is fine too. There are rustic wooden tables and chairs, and also sofas for more comfort. Order online or at the bar. The staff were very helpful. There's also free help-yourself water on the bar. Will definitely go again.

They had a Jazz player when I visited. Great atmosphere. Lovely menu, covering all types of pallet. Staff where busy but still attentive. Great place to go for a coffee, drinks or food. It the place to go.❤

Great service and delicious food

Great place, food was very yummy and had a great choice for gluten free and vegan. They even had desserts which were gluten free. It is a nice and chilled environment.

We visited one afternoon just for a quick coffee while we were waiting for something. What a very interesting place. Quite individual with a variety of what I think was upcyclled furniture - nothing plastic and matched - loved it. Beautiful art on the walls. The coffee was lovely and the staff friendly on a slow Monday afternoon. We will definitely go again to try out the food.

I took my son out for a shopping day and we came here for lunch. Food was lovely as usual, I've been to 3 different lounge restaurants and all have have been lovely meals!

Lovely sun trap to sit outside in the morning sun, just ordered a coffee, the app is slightly slow, and the coffee did take longer than expected but service was nice and coffee was okay.

Recommend the doughnut, ice-cream with raspberry compot

A great place for a pre-night drink. We're not big fans of the food, we think it lets the place down a bit... But the people who work there are always great in our experience... We think the company would do well to look after them better. Atmosphere has 4 stars because there is a distinct whiff of drains, and we've been there many times. Outside in summer tho, is very nice, but bring a sun hat and sun screen as it gets the sun full on in the afternoon!

Ok but ..... If you advertise a quiz night every Sunday make sure you host the quiz night (even if someone is ill) This was what we came for . The main course dishes are interesting and very good. Puddings are standard normal same as everywhere else . Mains are in the range £10-£14 , puddings £6, I am unlikely to return as I feel that first evening for me missed its chance to be very good. Nicely laid out

Always a firm favourite. We usually visit other lounges - Thame or Amersham. Great everywhere you go - comfy ambiance, great food and selection at great prices. Service is always great. Very impressive to see none is compromised no matter which restaurant you visit

This is our fourth visit here the third was borderline and today was shocking 4 meals all went back only to be returned in not much better condition so definitely will not give it fith try

Very nice place for either a nice meal throughout the day or a drink in the evening. Spacious inside, with nice external seatings for when the weather is nice. Food is quite good and kitchen opened until 10pm. Cocktails are quite tasty. Everything decently priced. Staff are nice and helpful. We have already visited a few times and what we always get in the evening are regular and halloumi fries.

Atmosphere is cosy and warm. I had a glass of Cloudy Apple juice and English breakfast and it was absolutely satisfying and delicious.

Highly recommend, really lovley place. I have to eat Gluten free and it quite often tastes like cardboard, the burger I had was amazing didn't even notice it was GF. Will deffinatly be back.

Good food and lovely staff. But there is absolutely no reason to prevent customers from ordering food on the app, until they've entered their Email address and telephone number. This is increasing your risk of a GDPR security breach and is a practice that should be banned.

Stopped off for a coffee. Although i wanted a regular size with soya as a capaccino they wouldnt serve me that size ,only a large. Which i thought was odd. I hate waiste and paying for something i know i cant drink or eat all of it. There was a lot of dirty tables and the place was empty. The lady who served me at the till (as theres no waitresses service here, )was very polite.

Excellent staff goes the extra mile. Food is amazingly nicely presented, fresh and good sized portions for the money. Mid morning so expect little atmosphere.

Nice place, part of the lounge group. It's a standard menu, good value food and fair value.

Update on my previous 5* rating - I have dropped my first review down two stars based on the last two visits. Service could have been faster; some dishes came out with very few components - falafel flatbread should have more than one piece of falafel on top...The previous time we visited, the staff who greeted us was so rude three members of our group said they would never return.

I have been today with my friends to Merletto where I always go, but unfortunately today I didn’t have a good experience. I ordered chicken and bacon salad with avocado, and with she couit came with no avocado, we ordered some tapas with barbecue chicken wings, the chicken came extremely cold it looked it was insious and already there from other day. Was really hard to eat, the patatas came really cold as well, also we ordered 2 diet cokes that came without gas, so I asked if it could be changed, the table attendant put the coke in another glass for her to try it, suggesting that it was okay, in front of me doubting me which is an unacceptable customer service.Then she suggested that it was only the glass so she could only change the glass. It was a really bad customer service as I just asked to swap the diet coke and I haven’t raised a complaint. I hope this service gets better.

Lovely breakfast and great variety of vegetarian options. The website was easy to use to order and food and hot drinks came quickly. It was the perfect choice for our quiet Wednesday brunch!

I come here often. The food is always great and comes quickly, servers always really friendly, good baby change facilities and plenty of space between tables. Tap water freely available and easy to use order from table system.

I had a fantastic time at this brunch spot! They offer a wide variety of options for both hearty appetites and those looking for a lighter meal. I couldn't finish my plate because I didn't anticipate the portion size to be so generous. Next time, I'll order a smaller portion, but I'll definitely be back for more! Almost terrible food, make sure it smells good and fresh before eating (guacamole!), service is weird - they forgot 2 items from 5 ordered…Atmosphere around tables outside: homeless people begging for cash every 5 mins, garbage bags scattered along empty high street..ultimately that’s High Wycombe, so no surprise. Just go to Marlow or anywhere else if you’re hungry or thirsty

It was quiet due to it being quite late but we were served quickly and the food was good.

A stylish local restaurant, High Wycombe is the theme therefore plenty of pieces.of art work based upon the area. Very well thought of. Plenty of seating inside as qell as outside. Very attentive staff. You tasty dishes. Very welcoming. Love their poached eggs and highly recommend the Mezze Salad. Chilled, cool and relaxing. Nearly forgot to add, excellent Internet signals and able to work from the restaurant, phew!!

The variety and quality of food is excellent and the staff are friendly and efficient. Honestly I was pleasantly surprised and everyone enjoyed their food.Being able to eat out with a family of four for £50 these days means we will be going back.

I have had breakfast here several times. The staff are all friendly and knowledgeable about Coeliacs with Gluten free options in abundance. The quality of food is good. Perhaps a.little overpriced but everything tasted great.

Randomly popped in with the wifey on a day off work. Pleasantly surprised by this hidden gem. Relaxed decor, ample and varied menu. I had the Korean burger and my wife had a Malaysian dish - both very tasty. Service was fast. You can order and pay by scanning a barcode on your table. Atmosphere was nice and warm.

Called in for Breakfast at 9am before travelling to London, service was very speedy, we were asked politely about any food allergies when ordering. We had the Lounge Breakfast which was lovely quality and very tasty. Coffees were super smooth and nice quality. Would definitely recommend and will definitely come back. The main food menu looked great too and they also have a licenced bar and lots of seating.

Worse “Nasi Goreng” I had… nice and friendly service but food was disappointing. Good presentation on arrival but when you eat it, with every fork you can taste stale oil, no wonder, bottom of the bowl was full of it.

The foods made with zero love, and definitely don't order a pudding. I'm 99% sure it came out of the freezer. Also, the manager with the cap on? I think you need to find a new job, clearly it's not something you're enjoying. He barely said a word to us, just launched our plates at us and hurried away. It wasn't busy either, poor poor excuse for service.

A really good atmosphere, with good music and food, just a nice place to eat and share times with friend or family (sorry for my english im french).

Staff are always great and the food is good quality. The vegan options are brilliant as well, so much better than just one or two options like most venues that cater for everyone's needs. Highly recommended!

update: Came back to this place after 8 months for a bit of breakfast, and it's improved quite significantly, staff are a lot more friendlier and the food is way better (i recommend the Miami Brunch, added a photo) Tables are still too small and chairs are still uncomfortable, i'd have to recommend getting some taller and wider tables as they don't accommodate to people like me who are taller, especially if you are dining with another person.

It's great that they have a whole vegan menu, but why then charge extra for non dairy milk? The Lounges chain is a big enough to absorb any "cost". The bumbling server chucked dairy milk all over the table which slopped through to my jeans and new shoes. Made me want to gag.

Great food, My wife had the butter milk chicken and I had the lounge breakfast. Everything was cooked perfectly. The staff were very helpful and we will be back!

Nice relaxed atmosphere loved the interior, They have a separate vegan menu and few vegan desserts aswell which was a nice surprise Will return . Ps. the oat latte was lovely and hot very nice
