Mercure Liverpool Atlantic Tower Hotel in Liverpool

We stayed here on Sunday and had an overall pleasant experience. The room was spacious with a beautiful view, which was a nice touch. However, we were surprised to find that there was no mini-fridge in the room, which would have been a convenient addition. The walls seemed a bit thin, as we could easily hear our neighbor’s phone conversation at 7 in the morning, which was a bit disruptive. On a positive note, the room service was excellent. Even though we arrived late and were tired, we were able to enjoy a drink in the comfort of our room, which was a great way to unwind after a long day.

Andrews service was outstanding and Robs food was unmatched! Thank you ....P.S please sort out your flat Guinness x

Very nice location and a nice room. Ate pizza with something to drink in the restaurant. Very friendly help from Andrew. Definitely recommended to go back again.

We utilised the Mercure Atlantic Tower Liverpool for interview and event room space. Everything was great. The staff were helpful and friendly, special mention to Anthony, who went above and beyond to help and assist us wherever possible. Thank you again Anthony, greatly appreciated!

Excellent hotel Staff great, brilliant location, very expensive drinks, go elsewhere for them Parking 14 pounds per 24 hours, limited space but OK. Rooms ok Small, adequate, comfy Location Excellent. Recommend.

Stayed in this hotel at the weekend was in good spot for attractions.. rooms warm and clean.The staff were amazing very friendly and helpful with enquiries.Nothing was too much trouble.The F&b team were very helpful .⭐

Booked a room but due to a bereavement was unable to arrive on New Year’s Eve, did not want a refund but asked to change the date, totally dismissed and lost £145. Great to see that our local hotels are here to help in challenging times. Never again

Awesome place to stay in the city

This hotel is not clean hearing everything the neighbors talk it is not well insulated it is cold in the rooms there is no exhaust, For me this hotel does not deserve a star

Hotel looks very tired and outdated. Carpets all old and stained . overpriced rooms. Staff very friendly so but definitely not coming back

Very good value for money, only issue was the rooms are not very well sound proofed so you hear everything in the corridors and next door.

The room is a bit smelly, small and dark. The working elevator is only one. Taking about 15 minutes to go to ground floor from tenth floor.

Very bad experience, elevators mostly broken. We have to wait for almost 1 hour only for going down to bring our luggages, rooms so poor, hospitality very bad. There's nothing can more describe our unsatisfied. Lucky Just only 1 night here

A great night with the actors mixing amongst us and bringing the story to life. Would recommend to anyone wanting a different nice out with good food & company.

Great location Easy check in with coach parties Room was fine , modern shower Would recommend a grab rail within the shower and a slip mat for those who need one , as hair conditioners and shampoo can make surfaces slippery No phone in room , breakfast was very nice but notices to communicate where the breakfast items are all located within the dining area .

Do not stay at this hotel! We got placed in a disabled room when we didn't state we needed a disabled access room, the room was also out dated. There was also a vent in the room which you could hear multiple noises from other rooms all through the nights affecting our sleep. Also, beware when parking at their hotel as we got directed by the receptionist to the wrong car park across the road from their hotel and came home to receive multiple parking fines from NCP adding up to a few hundred pound. Spoke to the hotel and they've accepted no responsibility and are saying its on me and I have to pay the fines, they can't do anything! Terrible service and won't be staying there again!

Decent place and given room with a nice view of the river. It had been a warm couple of days but not sure if it's linked as there were a few moths in the room. Think some of the other reviews have mentioned this so would be nice of it could be dealt with. Some people are bothered by this but perhaps not a concern to others. Sorry no pics

I was lucky enough to be able to be upgraded and to have the Elizabeth suite on the 12th floor of the Atlantic Tower where this magnificent hotel is located for my 2 nights in Liverpool. The view is absolutely breathtaking of the Royal Liver Building. The services are exceptional, also including a personalized welcome and a welcome bottle of proseco in the room! A big thank you also to Zoé and Ashwin for their good advice and their great professionalism. I highly recommend this establishment, which is absolutely perfect for a beautiful city trip in the city of 4 Fab, a few minutes walk from the city center.

Room was a right dive. £200 a night shower was cold and blocked - flooded the bathroom. Carpet was wet through for some reason near the bed and had shit stains all over it. The only plug socket in front of a mirror was broken. No fridge and very small. Coffee cups were dirty and no plug socket long enough to reach the kettle so had to make brews off the floor? Location was perfect and reception staff were lovely.

We spent one night at this hotel, the room had magnificent views of the Royal Liver Building. The room is quite narrow for 2 people and it shows that it is quite old (the closet and the bathroom mirror also need a change since it is clearly losing color). The bathroom is also narrow and the bathtub is very high, making it difficult to access. The bed was comfortable although noisy when moving and we had to put up with the music coming from the hotel's own bar until midnight, which instead of being able to rest made it seem like we were at a continuous party. This part is very unpleasant.

Fantastic place and at a great price for the night. We had a room upgrade and had the corner room. But the standout was Jack on the desk when we got there. He really was the definition of scouse hospitality! He helped us with checking in and went the extra mile by giving us a local map and talked us through some of the things we need to see! We will definitely be back and we’ll definitely be staying here. That one you can thank Jack for!!

Had a great stay here last week whilst travelling for business. The staff were great especially James F, Zoe and Brie both made extra effort in ensuring I was comfortable and my stay was memorable. If I am needed back in the area for business or pleasure I will definitely returning.

It's a very best place to go when you want to explore Liverpool, i would give it 5 stars but rooms needs renovation but not that bad for the night, it's so peaceful and staff are so nice. If i have to come visit Liverpool again this would be a place to sleep.

Stayed in the mercure hotel for the bank holiday.. staff were lovely to deal with, we were given a room which wasn't ready but the staff were very understanding and very helpful. We were then given a privileged room, the room was lovely and very comfy, the rooftop gave a great view and everything was so close. Will definately be staying here again . Also everything was within walking distance from us so it's the perfect spot for exploring.

bit of a hic up at reception being given a key card to an occupied room! all sorted out with another trip to reception. shout out to andrew-john on the bar for sorting me receipt copies which I had forgotten to ask for when paying! had it not been for the initial issue it would have been 5stars for service

Had to prove I left a 5* review to be able to leave my bag in the storage room.... Room was very hot and the ventilation made a horrible loud sound even at lowest setting, found 4 bugs around the bed before going to sleep. Breakfast was bad. Location is good, but worst 4* hotel experience iv had.

Really enjoyed breakfast great selection of fresh fruit, juices, cereals, croissants & hot breakfast & lovely cappuccino to. Looking forward to coming back .

Hi, I would like to start with Ashwin , the young man was so accommodating to myself and friend nothing was any trouble he was willing to help as room 613 had a problematic TV he tried to fix changing batteries changed remote anyhow I asked if I could change room and without hesitation yes was the reply, would like to point out , if only a lot more people in the world was like Ashwin I'm sure it would be a better place for everyone. First time I’ve stayed in the mecure in 18 years and honestly the quality of service is still impeccable. Staff were lovely, rooms very clean, the view of the liver building made us feel like we’d booked the suite!! Also Leah on check out was super friendly and quick!

Very good option to stay in Liverpool. Close to city center and The Beatles Story. Rooms with beautiful views of the Mersey River. The facilities are generally good, the only thing they could improve is the variety of their breakfast.

Had an issue where our room had no aircon but staff were super helpful and moved our room with no issues. All staff were super friendly and the views from our room were really pretty of the river and local buildings.

I have received wonderful service from Emanuel, Kinty, and Leandra in my weeklong stay at the Mercure. No complaints here!

Breakfast n dinners were fine. Room was clean n location was good. Only negative is that the room has no overhead light so it was difficult to read a book at night with a bedside light. Best part was the service at breakfast and dinner. Leandra who deserves a mention for her friendly n efficient service of clearing breakfast tables and taking orders for fried eggs. The team of guys and gal who served dinner efficiently n cheerfully each night..... Kes with the curly hair, kristy the rose amongst the thorns😂, and the guys Tyler, Andrew, Hammed and Ryan. (and not forgetting the chef!)

The room was quite small and the bathroom shower and mirror were dirty along with the the curtains being stained. The evening staff were very kind Ash, Tyler Hammed, Andrew and Ryan were all very helpful. However some of the morning staff were quite rude with being ignored and I noticed a member of staff giving a customer a dirty look I did not pick up her name though. The location however was very nice.

Just back after my 60th room on top floor was massive cracking views massive 2 TV's fridge spotless rooms be back down as very nice very friendly staff.

Excellent location...room on the 7th floor had a fabulous view of the cruise terminal and The Strand. Very quiet considering its on a major road. The room was extremely comfortable however the a/c wasn't very effective. Disappointed with breakfast, which we paid £13 each for. Watered down juice, poor selection of hot food and stale toast. Will go again but go elsewhere for breakfast.

Had a great stay at this hotel which is in a great location. Food was excellent too and also had a brief chat with the head chef Graham who is a great guy and couldn’t of done more for me, will be back soon again

Had a very pleasant stay here. The most notable aspect was the service from all the very pleasant workers! Specifically Kike, who works the front desk. It was an absolute pleasure being assisted by her throughout our time here. She was always able to help and deserves a ton of recognition. Emanuel, at the 2nd floor restaurant, was also a great steward of the establishment.
