Mercure Leeds Centre Hotel in Leeds

Sadly this hotel has been closed to the public for a long time because it chose to take the Home Office cash to accommodate economic migrants. Never forget the hotel chains that did these deals!

Worst costumer service ever, the security did not let me in the hotel unless I had a booking. And didn’t allow me to wait in the lobby to provide them with my reservation (very strange). well I didn’t look like I was looking for trouble, It was 7.45pm I’ve just arrived in Leeds for a work trip, I was left baffled and I walked out. #Mercurefixit

Due to stay tomorrow and wasn't told that the hotel is apparently not open to the public and our reservation had been moved to Novotel. I also received no apology for the lack of information and was just told that "guests should have received an email about this", which I had not. Very disappointed with the lack of communication from this hotel group.

Great central location and good quality amenities. Very near to the train station.
