Nice meal of fish and chips, served reasonably quickly and efficiently. One end of the fish was a little chewy but otherwise fine.

Good fish and curry sauce but the chips were greasy and soggy, with not one crisp chip out of the lot of them. I did not eat any of my chips and I don't know how they have the cheek to charge for them. Good packaging with no plastic but still - we won't be back!!

I was passing here on Friday evening. I had space to park outside and was greated with very friendly staff. The fish was of the most freshest me and my wife have ever eaten from a takeaway, the taste and texture was amazing! The kids also enjoyed some seriously tasty kebabs. We would recommend this place 100%! Thanks Meole Brace Fish Bar for our new weekly chippy!

We pass this place regularly on our way to and from shopping at Sainsburys and today, Saturday, I asked my husband to stop as I fancied fish and chips and there was a queue indicating the place served good food. We had a large cod and regular chips each and ate them on our laps in the car. I have rarely enjoyed something quite so much. The fish was cooked just right in crispy, light batter and was a generous chunk of flaky fresh cod. The chips were divine - tasty, crisp on the outside and floury/steamy on the inside. Result? Two happy people for just over £12. There are lots of other things on offer (pies, burgers, kebabs, sausages) and I can't wait to try them. I'm astonished by some of the really negative reviews of this place. They do not reflect my own experience.

Very impressed with the fish and chips here. Fish size is very generous and lovely thin crispy batter. Staff very friendly and helpful.

The worst possible customer service experience possible. Inefficient and disorganised and very rude.

If you want disgusting food and to be treated like dirt then go ahead. Worst food and customer service I’ve ever experienced. Place should be shut down.

Been here a few times now but was disappointed as the girl serving customers mixed the gluten free food with the the rest of the food which wasn't gluten free. As mad as it sounds the gluten free fish and chips were put into the same bag as everything else which lead to the grease on the non gluten free food going through onto the gluten free chips. The GF is only wrapped in paper and not even inside a box which I can not understand as this would of stopped any cross contamination being possible. At the time, I didn't think this would have any effect on me until I've then started to feel like I've eaten gluten..I certainly wont be coming here again which is a shame as I've heard great reviews. I can not possibly risk becoming ill again especially as I have coeliac quite bad.

Excellent GF fish and chips, carefully labelled and kept separate: the batter is to die for...be sure to call in on a Tuesday or Thursday for a GF treat served with care by courteous staff. I

We eat here once a month. In my opinion the cleanest and nicest chippy in town. Friendly staff and always cheerful. Highly recommend. 1st class.

Weve had fish and chips here several times, especially as they do a very nice GF option and today we were looking forward to F&C; before we go on holiday. But despite advertising being open till 9, we turned up at 7 and they were shut. Disappointed

If I could give it a zero I would - staff are rude! BUT the food wow we actually threw it away!! The chips were burnt and we tried to put our “large” chips in the tray and they filled just over half NOT a large at all! The were dark brown! Also the kebab meat was plastic and I couldn’t cut it with my knife and the pitta it came in was doughy and soggy! We also had a curry sauce which tasted of cheap powder it was vile! I will never go here again as I said we threw it away and went to monkmoor fish bar which was lovely - waste of money waste of time it’s disgusting!!! Do not go there vile!

Called here on the off chance after shopping, great take out fish and chips with excellent service and friendly staff
