Menston Spice in Bradford

We ordered the lamb chops, Bombay potatoes, saag paneer, mixed kebab starter, naan and chips and all of it was beautiful.

Yet another delicious takeaway from the Menston Spice, which has well and truly raised its game in recent months. Many thanks to Shuhal and his team for a beautifully cooked meal, all served with a friendly chat and a genuine welcome. The Saag Chicken main course was fantastic, and replaced our default-favourite of Chicken Acharee. Although this latter dish is no longer on the brand-new menu, Shuhal said that it was possible to ask for it in the comments section during online ordering. Keep up the great work, Menston Spice :-)

Ordered king prawn masala with naan and rice for delivery. Was luke warm on delivery and whilst the luminous sauce was reasonably flavoursome the prawns were like chewing an inner tube. Rice was okay is the best compliment I can give. Wouldn't repeat.

Absolutely disgusting will not be ordering from hear aging curry was so plain and no flavour with a tiny bit of chicken and the donner meat was like rubber and tasted disgusting I used to be nice but seem like the have just got chap food and don't put the effort in anymore it's a shame

Yes the food is good but seriously, more than once order online…. Order has been placed, money leaves account and not immediately but 20 minutes later does a text get received telling us that ‘menston spice couldn’t accept your order and a refund is on the way’. Firstly, you’re open so should be accepting all orders. Secondly, living only 8 minutes by car away from the shop distance is no problem! And thirdly, if you can not accept orders why take money from a bank account just to give a refund that oh ‘will take 3-5 working days to return back to your account’. I can never complain about the food from menston spice but this kind of service from respectable company’s you use to order food (as unable to collect myself) is simply apauling and just unacceptable at this point! Will not be order again unfortunately.

Months of requesting that they stop texting me every week, contacting both Menston Spice and their provider, FeedMe, by text, by messenger, by code...........and still I get the texts. Great customer service guys.

Food took 2 hours to arrives and was poor in comparison to other restaurants

Gone down hill over the past few months. Not sure what’s happened but we don’t use them anymore. Would rather drive to Shipley to pick up a proper curry.

Fantastic food, only comment is that the pickle tray didn't come with mango chutney.

Used Menston Spice for a good year now for my much loved Sunday eve curry. great menu, decent prices and never had any issues with service. Nicely spiced, always arrives hot too.

Ordered at 6pm 745pm still no sign!! Called up twice still no sign absolutely ridiculous. If they had no drivers they should have said, I could have gone else where not happy.

Ordered a chicken tikka and Donna kebab. Recieved only chicken on the kebab. I don't really like chicken much and only wanted one or 2 pieces to try and therefore it was wasted. Asked for sauce seperate and it was covered in chilli and garlic. Ordered a rezala with no coriander and it was covered it it. Disgusting. Threw it away. Starters were only things right and chips Over all curry filled half the container and was very oily anyway.

The best kebab I've ever had. And I've had a lot 😃. My complicated order was without fault. I'll definitely be back for more... what a gem to find on the doorstep! Thanks!

Awful. Waited 1 hour 45 minutes for our order when the app said it would be 50 mins. Called 3 times and each time was told it was on its way (which was clearly a lie). When it eventually arrived it was stone cold and the naan was so stale that we actually couldn’t even tear it it was that rock hard. Disgusting. Will go back to our favourite Westbourne Spice next times. Avoid

A very tasty variety of curries.

AWFUL! My families order took 2 hours to arrive. Donna kebab on nann: Nann pitiful. Kebab meat dry. No salad. No sauce. Half pound American burger: Was a quater pounder instead. Chips awful. Chicken nuggets and chips: Chips were awful. Nuggets were over cooked and dry. This was the last chance for them as the last order we placed, for two curries was disgusting and both way over spiced. WE ARE NEVER ordering from Menston spice again. AWFUL! PITTIFUL! The food made my daughter throw up and adults indegestion and hiccups for ages 😐

Quality food and friendly service but sometimes over spicy when asked for something milder

Very ordinary for price paid. Samosas particularly disappointing.

Food tasted ok. Nothing to rave about. Just a shame by the time it was delivered (1hr 10m) it was all cold. Had to heat it up in the oven. Might as well have just cooked and saved the money. Won't be going back and don't recommend it unless you live next door and collect. Although even our collected curry the following week wasn't that hot and required warming up. And we're just 2 mins drive away.

Just tried Menston spice tonight , ordered 4 Currys, absolutely lovely , the meat was nice the Currys all looked different and tasted different . 100% how it's ment to be , we will use this takeaway again . We had recently used somewhere else and ordered 3 currys that all tasted the same , we just found our new place Thankyou and compliments to the chef.

Having moved to Otley in 2012 we could not find a curry house with the quality of the Rajpoot in Shipley anywhere until we came across this Gem. Absolutely beautiful curries cooked to perfection. And the owner is very polite. Highly recommended.
