Been coming to this restaurant for many years! Every time the food, service & atmosphere is great!! This evening our young son enjoyed indulging into indian food and enjoyed it!!!

Staff friendly but food was not of good taste and quality

The food was good but lacked salt in some dishes. We appreciated the complimentary popadoms and pickle. The service was very slow. The ambience was good but the background music was too low which meant others could hear everyone else 's conversations around them in the room

There food is delicious . I had a lamb chops for my starter the chops are juicy and tender that I never had any other restaurant. And for the main if I talk that’s goodwill be not enough the Chicken tikka masala is so tasty and creamy masala that I ever had. And their staff also So friendly with us they take care us like a family. Thanks Memories of India. That’s will be memorable dinner for me. Thank you

Not only was the atmosphere and decor beautiful but the wait for our food was extremely short and the staff were so helpful and had great recommendations on what to get. I had an amazing time and would definitely come again!

I went here with my family and the food was absolutely wonderful, honestly I wasn’t sure as this was my first time coming here, however it’s safe to say I’ll come here again and more often too!!

Amazing food and really wnjoyable

I came to this restaurant with my family few days ago. The service was good but the food didn’t have the authentic Indian flavours. The prawns were rubbery, the chicken was hard to chew. To top it all we were charged extra and even after requesting an itemised receipt we received hand written receipt. Not worth it.

The good thing was there was no other customer all the time we were having our lunch at Mem-O-India. The sad parts were (a) We were told our choice of seating arrangement was unavailable for when we booked the previous day, only to find out we were given incorrect information. (b) The food was probably left-overs from the previous night. (c) Presentation was poor and (d) The taste was only marginally good, to be kind to the chef. All in all a very disappointing experience!

Usually when the restaurant is non-veg specialty ... The veg food is never their focus ... But this places got good vegetarian as well ... Made my anniversary so much better.

This place is not a 4.1 it's more like a 4.5 I avoided the place many times thinking it won't be good but it's actually great food. They've been serving long time customers for years and haven't focused on reviews. Please help them get more recognized.

Lovely local, great quality ingredients and top notch cooking

I had my daughters birthday party and the quality of the food was excellent and the service was superb 👌 will definitely be coming here again.Really recommend for birthday parties and people who just want a nice and good time.

I had my daughter bday get together , the food was excellent. What made me very happy was due to religious reasons I wanted food without garlic or onion and they went out of their way to make it for us. Thank you , I will always appreciate this. The food is most often (but not always) good here! There was a Large Party; and the staff were solely seeing to their needs and ignoring the rest of the customers!! I asked for a Jug of Water (because I drink a Lot of Water); but they said that they didn’t have a “Jug”!! They wanted me to ask them every time I finished the water in my glass, but no waiter was to be seen. So I had to get up and go to the bar myself to get water to my glass! Absolutely Ridiculous!!

A truly stunning restaurant with an excellent selection and great service and ambience. A bit pricey but well worth a visit.

Tasty food, delivered quickly. Can't really ask for more. (we really liked the lamb saag and chicken jafrezi)

Nice food and good prices. Went here for lunch and had a dal fry and sweet curry. Food was perfectly spiced and fragrant. They use the term naan bread on the menu though which is a huge sin.

Firstly, it's important to address the ownership of this establishment. Memories of India is owned by Muslims of Bengali descent. While this fact alone does not inherently imply any negative connotations, it has come to my attention that there may be underlying sentiments of bias and discrimination harbored by the owners towards Sikh and Hindu patrons. It's disheartening to learn that there are allegations of animosity towards Sikhs and Hindus within the management of Memories of India. As a Sikh myself, I find it deeply troubling to consider supporting a business that may hold prejudiced views against members of my community. It's unacceptable for any establishment to foster an environment of discrimination or intolerance Furthermore, Memories of India is known to be a halal-certified restaurant, which may not be in line with the dietary preferences of some Sikh individuals, particularly those who adhere to a vegetarian lifestyle. In light of these revelations, I have made the personal decision to boycott Memories of India, and I urge my fellow Sikh neighbors in Osterley to join me in this stance. It's time for us to stand together in solidarity for the principles of Khalsa and to support businesses that align with our values and beliefs. Instead of patronizing Memories of India, I encourage Sikhs in Osterley to explore and support other Indian restaurants in the Hounslow area that uphold inclusive values and cater to diverse dietary preferences, including vegetarian options. In conclusion, it's imperative that we as consumers make informed choices about where we dine and support establishments that promote inclusivity and respect for all communities. Let us stand united for the principles of Khalsa and support businesses that reflect our values.

Great food and great atmosphere 👌

Amazing meal food delicious. Staff so accommodating especially when my friend is deaf and we needed to move tables. Great menu and also dishes that weren’t on menu.

I used to eat at the restaurant and it was very good , home delivery completely awful, 3 tiny piece of meats and 90% herbs

Had to call the cost of living support line following eating here. And when we queried the bill they laughed at us. And charged a service charge. We got the impression as we were the only white people in the Restaurant hey charged us more

This is one restaurant my family and I love to come to and go to regularly. From the moment you step foot to the moment you leave, it's a great experience. The staff are very friendly and courteous, and the food is amazing. Worth the experience and get to taste great food and have good company. Would highly recommend this place to all and definitely get the Peshwari Naan

Great Bangladeshi restaurant, 2nd to none.

Great place, delicious food, attentive waiters and quick service. The atmosphere and music were nice. We will definitely come back to enjoy the food again!

Great food, rapid service. Atmos lacking a little but a busy Xmas lunch season so tables nearer the entrance feel a bit out of the way.

Food was fine , but Luke warm . Had to reheat under microwave although feel this was more due to delivery service as time expected moved back ten minutes.

Lamb passanda was rather sweeter than I recall before but prawn puree and other dishes fantastic.

The onion bahjee and samosa were dry, old and not edible. The rest was avera%e at best. This used to be a good restaurant

The chicken tikka masala was so flavorful, and the naan bread was fresh and warm.The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly, and they make you feel welcome. The restaurant's location is convenient, and the prices are reasonable. I would definitely go back. Overall, I highly recommend it!

I was greeted with a warm welcome by the employees who kindly helped me find my seat. The waiting time was not long and when the food arrived, it was served beautifully and tasted delightful. I enjoyed the food and left the restaurant satisfied. I would recommend for any occasion, nice and clean restaurant.

Too costly place for normal food

Disappointing service - trying to get attention of waiters during meal. Even at end, had to ask 3 times/3 different people for bill. Eventually, put coats on and stood up to get a response!

Nice restaurant. Food was delicious. Service wasn’t too bad, could’ve been better as we waited a while to order drinks and food. Cleanliness can be better as there were dead bugs and flies on our table before we requested to move. Overall a good place to eat.

Nice place to dine-in and food was really good. Not very spicy food, that's good all can have the food. Very pleasant place and friendly service of there's. Place is good and it should be experienced by all.

This restaurant is amazing. The food is absolutely delicious and the staff are so professional. We have 3 small children to juggle but the staff couldn't be anymore helpful and our children absolutely love the food which is the bigest compliment i can give.

Always a good evening with excellent food and service

I don't like leaving negative reviews but I'm really disappointed this time. Not sure if there has been change in the ownership or the chef. It was more like Bangladeshi food than Indian. The food is not the same anymore. The chicken was vile, either overcooked or not good quality. Won't be ordering again.

The food was in the middle and the portion were quite small with limited range of veg items.However the service was decent

Been here twice now. Service is fabulous. It's a spacious restaurant, you're not crammed in. But most important the food is flavoursome, plentiful, and the menu focuses on flavour not heat. As such it's better than the many curry places that are highly rated in nearby Hounslow. And it's licenced, so you can have a Cobra with your Madras. Go.

Great ambience, great food - chicken jalfrezi and lamb Rogan Josh. Lamb chops looked and smelt amazing. Service a little slow but it was Valentine's so busy.

Bought four dishes and a few drinks. The bill was over 100 pounds. IMO very expensive but food was good but not worth this price.

The poppadoms were the best. One of the dishes was not so nice. It was dry and looked like it had just been heated up from frozen it was a vegetarian green kebab but had no taste and very small portion. Expected it all to be nice talking into account price But I still enjoyed it. The rest of the food was lovely.

I had probably the best lamb biryani here tonight. The flavours were superb, the Lamb was tender and melted in my mouth. Memories of India is clearly in a class of its own. The decor actually is from Rajastan, two notable pieces caught my eye, both could have been in a museum. The overall service was excellent. Only a short drive from Richmond. Wife and kids loved it too.

Excellent meal and attentive service

Food was satisfactory, they got our order wrong for starters. The red wine was open too long we had to request a new bottle. There are no changing facilities for babies here. Over priced for what you get. We booked a table for 2pm, they close at 2.30pm on Sundays so we were rushed through my parents anniversary lunch, don't book a table for 2pm if they not going to acoomadate you staying for a couple of hours.

Great service, and nice food relaxing atmosphere 👍🏼

I remember when the restaurant first opened about 30 years ago and have been enjoying the food ever since. It’s without doubt the best Indian restaurant in the area and although I’ve moved, I still go back there. Consistently, excellent 👌🏾

Order for delivery on website it said delivery time 30/50 minutes it took 2 hours for my food to arrive when it did nan were cold the salmon was dry without any sauce the pappi chatt was wet was given no option if I wanted to cancel my order or any form of compensation the order for a birthday treat which was ruined by being disappointed by the whole thing

Came with a party of 27. Amazing food, caters for everyone’s dietary requirements, hats off to the Chef. Very friendly staff, exceptional customer service . Would definitely recommend.

An absolutely fantastic restaurant, I am going again. I decided to go here for a quite work lunch to discuss business. And the food and service was amazing. Better then I expected. Parking on the roadside. Would recommend to all.

Really gutted. Came here for Mother’s Day. The restaurant had around 4 tables full including us, so they weren’t crazy busy. The service was extremely poor. The staff kept forgetting our order, drinks wouldn’t arrive until we got up to nudge and the food was bland. For an Indian household, I wouldn’t recommend the food here as it’s not very flavoursome. For someone who isn’t from an Indian background, the food may suffice. The only reason I am even giving a poor review is due to the shocking service from the staff members. Very disappointed.

The food let them down. Decor lovely. Waiters attentive. But terrible food. Starters portions very small. Had to order double portions for party of six. No flavour in anything. Calamari rubbery. What’s happened Memories of India? Wonder if they have changed the chef.

Good food, great taste as always

The restaurant ambience is nice and welcoming. The Indian hand crafted doors placed around the restaurant brings a very nice touch to the decor. The staffs were reasonably courteous to host us. I ordered chicken chaat, king prawn puri and Murgh Seek kebab for starters, except for the kebabs rest of the starters tasted very good. The kebabs lack flavour and they are not served with right punchy sauce to dip in as well. For main course I ordered the Seabass tandoori, and chicken balti.I was told sea bass would be seasoned with spice , however it wasn't thoroughly seasoned. Also de-boning the whole Seabass was a bit of an hassel, my kid got a fish bone stuck in her throat as well for a brief amount of time. I would have preferred a deboned fillet then the whole Seabass ,as the experience of taking one bone after another was very exhausting. I wouldn't order this again here .Tandoori are generally marinated to absorb flavour, however here the tandoori fish felt like it wasn't marinated for long as it lacked flavour in it.Overall experience was mediocre, not something I would rave to another friend.

An awful experience - food has hit rock bottom as they have lost many chefs. Avoid

Sometimes we do celebrate our special occasion here untill last time we went there and I tried their Palak Paneer for first time me and my Mrs and came home later was vomiting and Was sick for 2 days. The Owner still came back and told me they cook fresh food And doesn't want to take responsibility when i complain about the food. when I told him 2 people got sick in the Family.

Went for a quick lunch (recommended by Niraj from Exclusive Fireworks). Lovely food. Dishes I had not seen before, spinach patties, crispy aloo bhindi and freshly squeezed lemon juice with a little sugar and a sprinkling of jeera powder. Spacious, clean and polite staff. The toilet doors are a work of art, diagonally split with bottom part mirror, top section leopard print, can be a little unsettling!

Manager is too rude. He needs to learn how to speak. Not expected this from them. Food is not bad. Quantity of starters specially harabara kabab is way too less. Manager name was moses I guess. I would not recommend.

I thoroughly enjoyed my evening at Memories of India Osterly. The decor was great, I especially loved the old Indian door set in the wall. The staff were very helpful, and happy to oblige if you needed adjustments in your choices of food, and the food was delicious. Reasonably priced, generous portions and boxes to bring any left overs home in. I will definitely go back.

We order early in the evening which helps achieve a fast delivery. The ETA kept being reduced & it was possible to see the stages in the meal arriving. It was as good as usual when it did arrive.
