Used to come here before when it was Clifton Cafe but this is an upgrade. Nice local spot. I’ll be a regular… if you’re local you should too. 🤝

Absolutely fantastic service, I only ordered one dish as it was just for myself but I have to say the amount of work I saw put into this freshly prepared meal was impressive. Great food, great price.

Just had a wonderful breakfast at this friendly Café and Take Away on Fernside Avenue. Delicious food at a very reasonable price. The owner is delightful and can’t do enough to help.

Wow. Such a wonderful little place. My partner and I went there yesterday evening for some dinner and the couple that own the place are the loveliest people. The food is absolutely fantastic. Completely fresh and homemade. They serve Italian and Sri Lankan food. The couple came to England after living in Italy for 30+ years (so you know the Italian food is authentic!!) and I would completely recommend popping in. Food is also a great price for the quality. Absolutely worth visiting :))

Foolishly I didn't open the fish and chips until I got back to work, and wasn't able to return and demand a refund. The portion of chips was tiny (£3) - I counted them. There were 22 chips. Not very big, lots of hard tiny, spiky ones. Thoroughly disappointing. The fish was completely inedible - God knows how long it was sitting there, but it was hard, and I was able to snap it like it was made of cheap wood. It had a horrible yellow discolouring under the incredibly hardened batter, and there was about half a forkful of white meat that could be considered fit for human consumption. Worst fish and chips I've ever had, and if i didn't have to remain at work I'd be going right back for a refund. Disgusting. I feel like I've been robbed for £11.50
