Really good food and good service

the food was cold had to heat it up but didn't taste very nice

Authentic Indian food, good price and great service. Well worth a visit if you’re coming to Chester- le -street. 200m out of town so not too busy but a great hidden gem.

Had a few takeaways from this restaurant, they have always been great quality, arrives piping hot & within the timescales given. Would highly recommend.

we went for a beer in the restaurant side and was served out of date beer from June 2023. The guy behind the bar proceeded to apologise and give us two free beers as compensation- which was further out of date by 7 months! Not happy- won’t be returning

One of the worst meals had went in bin nan had no cheese starter was awful and the meal was disgusting couldn’t taste anything because it was just full of chilli powder

Received mixed up order, with food missing and other items sent. They sent missing items, but rest of food was cold by that point. Food itself was average...

Very fast service and food was delicious

Very good food, the service was lovely, and honestly we had the best waiter in the world, poppadoms were perfect and crunchy with several sauces and the bahji's were proper big, way more than I expected the portions are large and there is a biiiiiiggggg menu 😋 😜.

This is our go to place for our Indian always has been amazing. Tonight though it was not I ordered my usual 2course special chicken korma for the main meal. It’s normally a rich coconut creamy taste but unfortunately it didn’t taste of anything. The Bhuna prawn on puri that I had for a starter was also nothing like it normally is however had some taste unlike the korma GUTTED. My husband enjoyed what he had as he had a different main meal but didn’t like the bhuna prawn starter

Best lamb dansak I've had in ages, tender big chunks of meat, very tasty. Other half had chicken jalfrezi, also delicious.

Honestly absolutley terrible food was stone cold, chicken tikka was chewy, getting yesterdays food heated up vibes and the mixed grill wasnt enough to feed a child for over £13 will not order again

Food was cold on delivery and some items were of worse quality than usual.

Service was good, cooked in a timely manner however the food wasn't great. The curry was pure onions and dry chicken, very disappointed, the chicken pakoras were in a very greasy batter and for £7 I ate 1 of the 4... very expensive for really bad food. Ordered a take out so can't comment on atmosphere hence mid stat rating. My memories of India wasn't a memory I'd like to remember.

Moved away from Chester-Le-Street now, but still think of Memories. Hands-down the best Indian takeaway I've ever had.

First time we have ordered from here, heard lots of good things, it was absolutely beautiful we will definitely be ordering again and telling family and friends.

We were quite disappointed by the poor quality of the prawns which were very small and if poor quality. It would be better to have fewer large prawns rather than the very small poor quality ones in this meal. Will influence my ordering from her again.

A grubby little Indian restaurant I will never go in again with dirty seats and food left on the floor I went to use the toilet before we ordered am glad I did it was filthy we left straight away and went to the pub instead

Delicious starter of King Prawn bhuna on puri - huge prawns in their shell and lovely chicken bhuna with big chunks of chicken. Absolutely gorgeous and very quick delivery.

Average food. Mixed pickles come in a jar??? I was expecting a pickle tray as in dips and pickles but I got a jar of pickles like you would buy in a supermarket. Very strange

Really lovely quality. Only let down was we ordered two naans and received two rices instead. We didn’t call as it was late in the evening to make a re-trip and to be fair we were happy to have rice instead as it was lovely

Had a very poor takeaway from here recently and essentially binned it. Watery sauce, lukewarm rice and terrible poppadoms. Now I find they have just been given a ZERO Hygiene Rating by the local Council!! That's as bad as it can possibly get. Avoid if you value your health.

Stopped for a meal on Friday night had a chicken Sri Lanka with veg Pelaw rice and a onion Bhaji to start. Service was good and staff seemed happy to see us. Would recommend.

Excellent quality, delicious and fast delivery.

In the past food quality has been inconsistent, sometimes a lovely meal, the next time awful. This could be down to different chefs who knows. However the meal ordered on 24th June was superb. Chicken and the Danssk curry was excellent and the onion bhaji
