Melissa Coffee Lounge in Stockton-on-Tees

Lovely place! Excellent customer service. The coffee and cake was sumptuous and my friend and I really enjoyed our time there.

This place is such a delight to call in for coffee, you get such a warm welcome. The scones are exceptionally good, the hot chocolate is excellent. Lovely staff!

Really very good cafe with excellent assortment of fresh sandwiches/cakes and drinks.The coffee is the best in Stockton and along with the staff and surroundings this really is a little treasure.It will get busy on market days,Wednesday/Saturday,but the wait for a table does not take too long.The owners and staff make an effort to ensure your visit is a pleasant experience and I am sure you will want to return.

I go into this lovely cafe regularly, at least once a week. The customer service is excellent and the food tasty. It does get busy on Wednesdays, market days in Stockton, but I have never had to wait too long for my order. Staff are very pleasant; cleanliness is exceptional and food presentation very good.

Lunchtime chicken and sweet chilli paninis with tea for two. Good, pleasant and efficient service. Paninis were excellent and a nice pot of tea.

In Stockton for the first time in years at lunchtime. Melissa's is a pleasant surprise, spotlessly clean, decent range of savoury and sweet things. Very good coffee. Toilets very clean and staff happy and attentive. Nice atmosphere and we had a very relaxing time here. We will certainly return and hope that the Melissa team continue to provide this excellent service.

Popped in for a coffee and cake yesterday and ended up having a full lunch. Sandwiches and cakes were very tasty and found the staff to be friendly and helpful. We don't get into Stockton too often but will be popping into Melissa's when we do.

This had to be one of the freshest, tastiest sandwiches I've tasted!! It was so nice, the staff were lovely and it really was one of those super sarnies you'll always remember! Will be back here for sure.

Had Breakfast toastie with latte really well cooked and excellent presentation. If had time (and room!)would have had another it was so tasty. Pleasant friendly service Not to be missed if in Stockton for a snack and coffee.

Went here for a change for lunch. Ordered a sweet chilli chicken sandwich what I got was a disaster. It came out and the lady said be careful it's hot which I found strange. When I opened it it was dripping in melted cheese and grease and the bread looked like Asda one basic bread. It cast me £4.00 and I took one bite and binned it. Worst sandwich I've ever had. Won't go there again rather get ripped of at cafe Nero over the road than go back.

Hadn't been for a while so popped, still lovely. Snack and a drink for three. Looked after superbly by Ellie, nothing too much trouble. Lovely sausage sandwich! Must go back sooner.

Popped in had a cappuccino and sweet chilli chicken panini. Very tasty, friendly staff and nice decor.

First time visitors and no regret. Have thought of visiting for a while so gave it a go. Had a nicely prepared and presented sandwich and coffee at reasonable price. Clean throughout in nice modern setting and staff very hospitable. Will return again soon.
