Ordered on Justeat as wanting to try somewhere new for Chinese. Turned out to be the blandest Chinese food I’ve ever had. Had to re-fry the fried rice as it has no colour and no wok smell. Black bean sauce had the tiniest amount of black bean. Beef and chicken smelled weird.. The only good thing was that the price is not high as other places but you have to trade the quality and taste for it…

10/10 best Chinese in Kingston, food is great, delivery always on time and met with a smiling face. What more could you ask for?

Had no taste at all so I had to add a lot of soy sauce, more onions than meat and sweet and sour sauce smelled like alcohol. The delivery guy was super sweet but wouldn't order there another time.

Great deals that include very reasonable lunch time offers which you can even pick up between 5-6pm for a very late lunch ;-) The food has always been really tasty as well so we'll be coming back many more times in future.

Amazing prices, kind staff, very very kind driver and such a good experience. It’s one of the, if not the only place, I order from as a student. I don’t usually do reviews but this restaurant is so lovely and treat customers with such respect! The portions are fantastic and the service is swift and easy to use, not to mention the prices of the food. I always find myself ordering enough food for 3 days for £20!! Thank you for your service, as long as I remain in Kingston I will be your customer.

The best Chinese take-out I've had in a long time. Not only is the food super tasty but it seems so fresh. Also the prices are generally less than nearby take-aways. The girl at the counter is super helpful when catering for my vegetarian requirements and was happy to supply me with vegetarian versions of existing meat dishes over a period of several days(I was visiting someone at the nearby hospital). Thoroughly recommended.

During a challenging time while my wife was in the hospital, I relied on this Chinese takeaway for six evenings of vegetarian meals. Despite its ordinary appearance, this establishment proved to be exceptional. Each meal was of high quality, and I could tell they used very fresh ingredients, plus the prices were very reasonable. As an example a meat free version of Singapore Fried Rice Noodles cost me £4.90 and it was totally delicious. A standout aspect of my experience was the young lady who served me each night. She was always polite and helpful, greeting me with a warm smile. She was more than happy to accommodate my dietary needs, customizing dishes by omitting meat ingredients to create delicious vegetarian options. Interestingly, she reminded me of the actress from the series “Kim’s Convenience,” adding a touch of familiarity and warmth to my visits. Overall, my experience was incredibly positive. The combination of high-quality meals, affordable prices, and excellent customer service made a difficult time a bit easier. I highly recommend this Chinese takeaway to anyone looking for tasty vegetarian food(or meat dishes if you are that way inclined).

ordered a beef with oyster sauce and the whole box only has 3 slice of meat. The potion is too small for the price. The taste is not good as well, not recommended. (The photo I attached is the photo I took when I just opened the box).

The portion size was small and the amount of meat was shockingly minimal.

How do you use chicken that’s not real chicken in this day and age, I called in but because the food was delivered at 11, they wouldn’t pick up.. chicken colour looked odd so I tried it and I can promise you they don’t use real chicken anymore. I’ve been a regular for years but I won’t be ordering again

Absolutely delicious - a must try!

I got their shezein style tofu and egg fried rice but I can tell that the tofu the rice are not expensive ingredients and the sauce was very over-sweet as well it was more like sweet and sour, I don't know if they gave me the wrong order but one can get a lot better elsewhere.

Firstly. Well done for not turning into one of the ultra greedy places that charge £16+ for a main without sides. That said. The portion size was just about ok. As were the flavours. The meat portion, however, was tiny. Loads of veg and lot of slightly watery sauce. It is clear what is going on, and it is not pro client based. Our search for our new fave chinese takeaway goes on.

The lady at the front house is Very loud. Charging an extra 50p for card payment. Not the best chinese food around. But worth the price.

Food was great everything was perfect and I ordered late came in good time

Ordered lunch time special: £6.80 Black bean beef, white rice and a drink. Was reasonably priced for what I recieved. Could have done with a bit more gravy sauce but apart from that had no fault. It was hot, fresh and taste delicious.

Not a nice experience both time I had it, no flavours and rice is not cooked well! Not going back here again. So blend! Not worth it.

I've been coming here for years now and have always enjoyed the food. From order to pick up it's 10 minutes, which kinda blows my mind. The staff are always frinedly, never had any problems.

Do not order from this business, they randomly cancel orders all of the time especially on JustEat.

Soggy crackers, chicken that had the strangest texture, all the dishes tasted the same, avoid. Not nice.

This is by far the worst Chinese cuisine I've ever tasted. Got a take out delivery. The three dishes we had all tasted the same and the chicken dish had really odd looking chicken. It looked and treated like it had been filled full of water. Save your money and go elsewhere.

As regular customers and on the whole food is good. But after today, don’t think I’ll be ordering from here again. After an hour and a half wait! Food was tepid and not up to scratch. My order was mixed up and I didn’t get what I ordered. Very poor service.

Really disappointed with the quality. Ordered the lunch special and it's pretty much flavourless - just salty, and very little protein, mostly onions and rice. Real shame, this place used to be really good :/ Also there's a hidden 50p charge for paying with card under £10. So the £6.50 deal is actually realistically £7.

Rude customer service at this place. Will never order from there again. Sent the wrong food and then when you ring up to complain its all your fault not theirs. I'm not gonna order something I dont like or eat. Attitude.

Was tasty but complete rip off and very small portions. I ordered mongolian lamb should be called mongolian onion as its covered with a thin layer of lamb then literally half the container was filled with raw onion. Duck spring rolls bland mostly filled with just celery. Then the Special chop suey only had 4 small pieces of meat in it.

My order came over 2 hours late and the food was cold, congealed, oily and salty. Rude delivery driver as well. Avoid this place.

Excellent food and value for money. I always order here and recommend to my friends. This time there was something wrong with one of my dishes so I rang them up and they were so nice! Everything was sorted super quick and a replacement was delivered in no time. Excellent customer service, thank you so much! ❤

I LOVE this place. The staff are lovely and the food is amazing. The kung po chicken and Singapore fried rice is 10 out of 10. It’s the only Chinese takeaway I order from. ❤️❤️❤️

Rubbish ribs where cold chicken tasteless

Lady told me my card declined twice (which was weird as I had money in my account) so I paid in cash on delivery, to then find the next morning on my online banking that they had taken the two orders out of my bank too, equalling to £50 plus the additional £25 I paid in cash. Called and the lady claims they never took the money. Since when was a Chinese £75? Shame as the food was nice, but I won’t be ordering again.

Melbourne City has let us down again. We are 1.9miles away and they refuse delivery as we are too far. They used to be good in the past!

Best Chinese takeaway ever tasted

Sadly not my evening with Melbourne City. Ordered and food arrived 15 mins over the suggested hour mark, and was lukewarm. The Sweet and sour chicken balls did not have the sauce - and calling back, I was left none the wiser as to whether anything would be sent back out. I decided to finish the starters and have the dessert - Banana fritters - tasteless and cold. Waste of money on this occasion... and sadly I don't think there will be another try.

The most vile food i have ever eaten.If i can stop one person eating from there i will be happy,save your money and eat from silver river when it re-opens next week.Dont waste your hard earned money people.

We've had this a couple of times now and it is seriously good fresh Chinese food. Ordered in the middle of the Friday Night rush hour yesterday ( not the best time to order takeaway from anyone ) but everything was perfect. Crispy shedded chili beef had a nice crunch with a little sweet and sour sauce and a chili kick. Chicken in the chow mein was tender - rice and noodles well cooked. Prawns excellent. Even the prawn crackers had more flavour and less fat than the usual offerings. If you live in Kingston this should be your go-to. We odered direct from them as Just Eat was saying they were closed

When I rang to question delivery time (after 1 hour) I was told never to order from there again by the Manager in what seemed like a fit of anger for no apparent reason....he was angry and rude and after 10 years in the local community, I will never order from here again!!!

The duck was so bad, it tasted like stagnant pond water. I would not be surprised if the food was caught in Richmond park.

Ordered food on Just Eat and Melbourne City Chinese canceled on us. No call or anything. When I called to find out where it was, I got no help whatsoever and they weren't even able to or reluctant to look up the order no. Would not recommend!

Lovely food, and lovely people. Very friendly staff providing good food made with fresh veg. The hot and sour soup is great, but quite peppery. The wontons in the wonton soup look hand made and taste great. We often pick lunch up to have in the park down the road when visiting relatives in the hospital opposite.

I don't know if this has recently changed hands or not but I am appalled at the food and service received. 1) Their allergens list is not up to date. 2) they seem to believe pad Thai is a spicy dish. Pad Thai is a sweet dish served with crushed peanuts. This is not what I received. What I received was cut up crab sticks and frozen prawns doused in chilli sauce. 3) when I called up to complain, all I received was a hostile man on the phone telling me I was wrong. NEVER AGAIN WILL I BE EATING FROM HERE.

Chicken chow main had no chiken. Food is nasty king prawn dish had 2 small king prawns. We binned the order. Do not recomend.
