Hotel Bosco in Kingston upon Thames

I have made a complaint and not heard anything back from the hotel hence me leaving this review in order to warn others from this hotel. This is my personal experience. I had formally escalate a serious complaint regarding my recent stay at Hotel Bosco (Room 202, 21st–23rd March 2025). During this stay, my wallet containing £500 cash and two work-related tower crane keys (worth £250) went missing from my room under suspicious circumstances. Despite raising this with Hotel Bosco immediately and providing clear timelines when the loss could have occurred (during room cleaning or while the room was left unattended due to lack of reception coverage), I have been met with completely inappropriate and unprofessional treatment by your team — particularly by a manager named Lloyds. Instead of providing transparency or reviewing CCTV footage, which should be a standard part of any internal investigation, I was asked to provide proof of where my money came from. This request is not only insulting but also completely irrelevant to the situation at hand. I am the victim of a serious loss at your property and expected support, not interrogation. To date, no staff member has provided evidence that a proper investigation is being conducted, nor have I received confirmation of any CCTV review or statements from staff who had access to my room. This lack of accountability and the dismissive attitude I’ve experienced are completely unacceptable.

Went here with the girls last night, can safely say that I would never return. Multiple girls were grabbed up by men and when telling the bouncer he removed one of the men but then let him back in one hour later. The owner of the establishment was drinking in there and when we told him what happened he said ‘I just don’t really care to be honest’. Loads of creepy men and over priced drinks.

I absolutely love the team here, I've been drinking here for over 10 years since it first opened, and the standard, service and cocktails have never slipped. Many times I've tried local cocktails in the area and nothing compares! The bar team namely Kamil and Nico are so talented, and the manager Igor is always so friendly and welcoming. So much so that I've always brought my business meetings here as well as my birthday parties pretty much every year. Nothing quite like a meeting over a cocktail or 2 😉 I would highly recommend it 👌🏾 thanks for your awesome service guys! And don't forget their amazing happy hour every night from 5pm-8pm. And the mojito and martini night all night on a Thursday, totally worth it!! 🥰
