Megan's in the Hamlet Restaurant (Dulwich) in Southwark

Un restaurante encantador para un brunch casual. Personal tan amable y la comida siempre fabulosa. Cater para gluten libre también que siempre es una ventaja!

¡Mia era una estrella absoluta! Ella era amable y burbujeante en todo, cuidadosamente nos ayudó con las elecciones de menú y fue rápido y atento con su servicio. ¡Le deseamos lo mejor en su curso universitario y le sugerimos encarecidamente que Megan la contrate lo antes posible!

La comida es consistente y sabrosa. Bonito interior luminoso, ambiente relajado y un maravilloso servicio amable de Ayanthi como siempre!

It wasn’t all bad. We order 2 kids meals which consisted of two chicken tenders and a portion of fries with broccoli and cucumber sticks. This also came with a free babychino. For £4.50 this was a felt extremely good value. This is where it goes down hill. As there was two adults as well we ordered two portions of fries at £.4.90 each, a portion of buttermilk chicken at £8.50 which stated on the menu to share. We also order two cokes at £3.50 each. The children’s order arrived quickly and the kids tucked in. Then our fries arrived and my face fell the portion of fries were smaller than the kids portion. They must have been about 15 fries in this tiny metal dish. The buttermilk chicken consisted of eight small brown looking square pieces Which didn’t look all that great. I’m not sure who I was supposed to share half a chicken breast with as it wasn’t enough there for me. The Coke which they charged £3.50 for was two cans that they put on the table with our glasses. I’m not sure how Megan‘s can justify these costs as one portion of fries alone cost more than the kids Meal and yet we somehow received less fries than the kids. I’m not sure how they can call this an adult portion. I have never left a restaurant after paying nearly £40 for meals only to have to go home and cook myself another meal as I was still hungry. Will not be returning or recommending.
