Went for a relaxed lunch. Lovely meal, served by very attentive waitress Abigail. Would recommend.

The ambience, service, and food — everything was amazing. We visited Megan’s in WGC to celebrate my husband’s birthday, and everything looked so perfect. Syam from the service team ensured we had a lovely time and went above and beyond to make the experience special. The food was part of a shared platter, but on our request, it was served separately because we wanted to enjoy the filo pastry individually. This thoughtful accommodation made our meal even better. Highly recommend!

We went to this place based on the reviews which were really good. We ended up very disappointed. We had the mixed skewers grill FOR TWO which at first sight looks like is plenty when you read, is basically 2 chicken thighs on a skewer, one kofte and a salad, which I think was some sort of Greek Salad and some fries, all this food was for two people. I was a chef for around 5 years and trust me I know how good food looks and taste and this was nothing like that. We also had a foreign item on the plate which I decided not to mention as I know it wasn't on purpose but still not an excuse. The waiter was trying to convince me that was part of packaging, what a laugh. We all knew what that was. Didn't meant to write such a long review, overall my opinion is that the place is well overated, looks nice inside though.

This was our second time at Megan's. We booked in for our anniversary dinner and were given complimentary glasses of prosecco on arrival. We had the calamari and hummus & flatbread for starters. Both were excellent. We had the mezze platter, so we had a taste of lots of things on the menu. Everything was fantastic, some favourites were the tabbouleh, peppers and chicken shakshouka. We ended with the half baked cookie dough and ice cream which was soooo yum. The service was really good and the vibes of the restaurant are really cool. We will definitely be coming again and I would recommend that others give it a try!

First restaurant that I've been in since landing in the UK and Megan's has set the bar really high. Love the atmosphere and enjoyed the service. Syam was awesome and I'll definitely be back.

Went today to grab a quick bite of lunch with my wife. The greeting wasn’t great—we were shown to a table and offered water (still or sparkling), which we declined. We waited around 5 minutes for someone to take our drinks order. The drinks didn’t arrive until about 10 minutes later, just after the manager came over to check if we had ordered. The drinks were then placed down without any further interaction—no one asked if we were ready to order food. We waited, but no team member came to check on us, so we gave up and went to the counter to pay. £9 for two hot drinks, and they even had the cheek to add a service charge. Won’t be coming back in a hurry

Stumbled across this magical gem of an eatery by accident, and so pleased we did. Service was exceptional, food (the loaded hashbrowns 👌🏻) was delicious, will definitely be back next time I am in the area.

Food and drinks came quick; they were to their usual high standards. We ordered 2 teas, shakshoumi and the smashed avo toast which were amazing, definitely recommend! We was served by the lovely Abigail but whole team was very friendly and welcoming as always 😊

Will certainly be coming back again. The atmosphere is super chilled, the staff are incredibly friendly (Stuart was great fun and offered top service) and the food was perfect - highly recommend the shakshoumi and the iced latte with a coffee ice twists was a nice touch. Right in the centre of the lovely Welwyn garden city my wife and I were super pleased we chose to come here

We popped in for a light early evening meal, prior to going to the local Barn theatre. Service and food were great as usual and Syam and Ellie were very good. Due to an uneven finish to our table, my beer literally just slid and fell off the table. It was cleared up and replaced immediately by Syam with no issue. We had the sharing platter starter and it was fab! We shall be returning soon

Stuart was a brilliant waiter. Dined here once before so didn't hesitate to return but will not be having the beef and lamb burger in pitta again. Didn't realise it was going to be deep fried so way too fatty for my taste. But rest of the meal was good.

Food was tasty and attractively presented but the pricing is at best ‘ambitious’, expensive and overpriced would be better words. I did not feel I received value for money. Did I enjoy it? Yes Would I go again? No. Not at those prices

Went to lunch at the WGC Restaurant on the 26th April for my Mums 88th birthday. Got promptly seated to our table. We were waited on by Stuart. Great guy, funny, attentive, made conversation. Great food. Great service. Will we be back? That’s a yes we will.

We were waiting for a juice, cappuccino and fried for 15min, when asked about it they brought a tray from the bar top, which I saw sitting there for at least 10 minutes. Nobody came after we had our drinks to take the payment so I stood up and waited at the till for another few minutes until someone finally asked me what I needed. Bear in mind this was afternoon and the restaurant was completely empty.

I do have to compliment Syam who went above and beyond to make me feel special on my birthday.He was so friendly and knows what he's doing and ensured making customers happy is his prime focus.I recommend the place to couples and families. Me and my boyfriend love popping in after the gym for a coffee, breakfast, or brunch. The coffee is absolutely amazing ✨ rich, smooth, and consistently perfect! The food is super fresh, tasty, and made with love. The staff are really friendly and make you feel right at home. We love how cozy the place is, whether we chill on the sofas, sit at the back to get some work done, or enjoy the outdoor seating when the sun’s out and the windows are open. It’s such a relaxed, romantic, and dog-friendly spot. We’re definitely loyal regulars here in Welwyn Garden City ❤️
