Food came cold and chewy- 2nd round was delicious as it usually is. But no apology or compensation. Also service was not great - not attentive, slow. Surbiton branch is outstanding in comparison

Absolutely Awful Experience - Never Again at Megan’s Kingston Enough is enough. This was my third time giving Megan’s Kingston a chance, and every single time, the service has been absolutely dreadful.🤯 Today was the final straw — I waited over 40 minutes for my food, spoke with the manager several times, and still, nothing was served. No apology, no urgency, no care. I had to cancel my order and leave after just a coffee. It’s beyond frustrating to be treated like this time and time again. Megan’s clearly does not value its customers or their time. I will never return, and I strongly advise others to think twice before wasting their time and money here.

Been to Megan's Surbiton many times, this one was just as good. Lovely food, beautiful atmosphere.

From the moment we arrived, Sabin greeted us with a warm smile and made us feel right at home. His knowledge of the menu was impressive; he offered great recommendations based on our preferences and was attentive without being overbearing. Our drinks were always full, and he checked in on us just the right amount to ensure we were enjoying our meal. Sabin's friendliness and upbeat energy truly elevated our brunch experience. He encouraged us to try the special of the day, which turned out to be a fantastic choice. It's clear that he genuinely cares about his customers and takes pride in his work. If you visit Megan's, make sure to ask for Sabin. You won’t be disappointed!

Visited Megan's in Kingston. Very nice decor and the service was OK but the biggest disappointment was the food and its ridiculous portion sizes. When I first visited a branch of the restaurant when they first opened, the food was excellent and a salad was a very generous bowlful of fresh ingredients. Today I had the mezze bowl and I thought it was a mistake. A tiny salad with a small portion of flatbread and three falafels. My friend had the green goddess salad and added falafels at an extra £3.90. What she got was a similarly small bowl, with spinach, half an avocado, a tasteless dressing and three, yes three, falafels. That's £1.30 per falafel the size of a cherry tomato! Such a rip off. Bill's do this kind of thing a hundred times better so I'll be going there instead in future and giving Megan's a big miss

My family and I loved Megan’s until our last dine in which was on my birthday. Kid’s food (margherita pizza was inedible, it was a sloppy mess and the chicken goujons and chips was a very small portion but was sold as a portion for “bigger kids” and on top of that the two cucumber sticks included were rotten/ sour. My husband ordered the chicken pita and the chicken had an awful, funky taste. We did tell one staff about the chicken pita and they gladly changed it for another dish my husband chose. The whole experience was beyond disappointing, we could not wait to leave the restaurant. It is sad because like I mentioned earlier, we loved Megan’s but will not be coming back anymore. Not sure if this is across all branches of Megan’s or just the Kingston branch.

The food was amazing, I went for a brunch a few days ago with my girls. Zaki provided the best service, honestly such a kind soul, he approached us if we needed anything extras 10/10 service from Zaki.

Love the interiors and atmosphere! Great place to spend your dinner with friends, have many options for gluten free meals, delicious tea. Anika was kind and helpful.

I had an amazing visit for my sister birthday. The food was amazing! What topped it all off for us was our waiter zaki, he made sure we were well looked after even when the store was busy. Will definitely visit again

Very good ambiance. Great food and also madurya was a great host spoke in a sweet way and made us feel home.

The food is consistently good here but on this occasion service was poor. After we had finished our main course service was non-existant: we were not asked whether we wanted anything else - dessert or tea/coffee and it was difficult to find anyone to bring me the bill.

Really pathetic portion size for the Mezze bowl and poor value for money at £13.90 for what was a starter sized portion. Friendly staff and nice location but portion size and value for money let it down.

Had a good coffee and brunch for three , only for us to discover a giant rat running across the floor on the top floor when we’re ready to leave. What was surprising is that the staff didn’t seem phased at all which suggests this is a long term problem. Really regretted drinking and eating there and feel concerned for my baby who also ate, the idea makes my stomach turn and to pay a good price 60+ pound with service charge? They should have at least removed that from the bill and apologised . So disgusting. Food hygiene is top priority, what a huge disappointment. So many mothers with their young infants there.

I had a great evening at Megan’s kingston branch yesterday, imad and anika was very good in their service and the open chicken was so good. Loved the ambiance and everything will come again.

Anika and Imad were really good, polite and welcoming. The food was delicious. Had the ceaser salad and sticky toffee pudding. Loved the pudding and I wish to have it again with cappuccino! Love the ambience of the place.

It was a lovely dinner we had with Sabin wonderfully serving us. We were a group of 10 people and it was amazing how smoothly Sabin served us and made sure we had everything we needed without us having to ask for anything. Definitely a great place with great food and lovely people.

Had dinner there today and the meal was lovely. However we spotted a mouse crawling around on the floor. The servers never came back to give us a bill and when we went up to pay they didn’t give us an itemised bill. When it came to more than expected we were told it was due to service charge and a charge for tap water. Started to feel sick after seeing the mouse. Will not be returning to this branch of meghans. It was underwhelming for the price.

Amazing restaurant. I have been to several Megan’s but the Kingston restaurant was exceptional. This time around I ordered a mezze bowl , it was equally delicious and healthy which made my dining experience guilt free. I am a great fan of the dishes Megan offers and will definitely be back to explore more dishes in this fantastic ambience. Sabin , did a wonderful job with prompt response and played a vital role in elevating our experience. Good luck!

Went for dinner last week with 2 friends. The place was very quiet.We ordered our food, one friend and I sharing the calamari and halloumi fries. My other friend ordered a chicken thigh and halloumi open plate The calamari and halloumi arrived and no sign of the other meal. After waiting a while, we queried where the other meal was. Eventually we had to eat as our food had been sitting getting cold. My friends meal arrived once we had already eaten our cold food. Zero communication and disappointing to not be able to eat our food together. Good drinks though
