This place came highly recommended by my girlfriend, who visited with her friends a few days ago and couldn’t stop raving about it. Naturally, I had to check it out! I went in the evening after a long day at work and treated myself to a smoothie and cookie dough. Both were absolutely mouthwatering and delicious sweet enough to remind me of my girlfriend! A lovely lady named 'Madu' served me, and her kindness, warmth, and politeness made my visit even more enjoyable. I would definitely come back to Megan’s, not just for the amazing food and cozy ambiance but also for the exceptional hospitality. Highly recommended!

After being accidentally given the wrong sharing platter main meal which may have been problematic for my partner who has food allergies the staff were amazing sorting out our worry and offering any help and assistance needed. Atmosphere great even for a very busy Saturday , food hot well presented and very tasty , recommended.

We have been before and everything was really good but this time it was the weekend after Christmas and they were really busy and we decided to just get coffee and cake. The waitress said we would have to wait 40+ mins for a takeaway so left.

Beautiful food and place! Plenty options for vegans but bear in mind fried items might be prepared on the same grill/pan as non vegan items. I was about to order VG marked hashbrowns when our waiter kindly warned me that these were fried on the same pan as hallumi cheese was also fried. Although I appreciate the heads up, I was very disappointed to learn that. If you label something VG (vegan), you should comply with the entire cooking process and make it entirely vegan. No vegans that I know would have consumed these hashbrowns so you may as well label it vegetarian. I wasn’t going to ask anything as I trusted the label.

Joseph was absolutely amazing!! He picked up that we are Germans and started talking to us. We had a lovely time, great food and were treated wonderfully. Will come back!

The menu looks great but is let down by inconsistent service and food that seems style over substance. Attended for a family brunch on my wife’s birthday and service started well but tailed off rapidly after food arrived (which in itself was a very long wait). “Hot Honey Halloumi”’was flavourless and had zero hot honey. I was going to tell the waiting staff when they returned to ask us how things were or whether we wanted to buy more drinks but they never appeared Had to ask three times for the bill. It’s a nice venue but really needs to be better for the money. Ironically would have spent more if they’d have attended to us more.

Shub was absolutely amazing, very helpful and efficient service

Genuinely SUCH AMAZING STAFF! 2 minutes into this place and I was greeted with smiles and lovely servers which is the one thing that makes me want to come back. Very rare nowadays. Food was delicious too! Thank you Shub and everyone else for being so lovely and making our day!

I have been to this restaurant several times and today we came for dinner and this is our last visit! We were not happy with any of the menus we got. The chicken avocado bowl menu I got, the chicken smelled raw except for the spices, the salad ingredients were wilted leaves trying to cover it with sauce, the homemade lemonade was sparkling water with lemon squeezed in. There was no need to lower the quality so much, unfortunately we wasted the £60 we paid!

First time at Megan's and we'll definitely be regulars. We had a fantastic meal, brilliant service and lovely ambience. Thank you!

Appalling bad service! Initially we were seated & our order taken fairly promptly. The server was trying to upsell sides we didn’t want & wasn’t listening. We waited nearly 15minutes for my americano but my friends tea didn’t arrive at the same time. I’d finished my coffee by the time her tea arrived. It wasn’t served with sugar so I went to ask our server for some. He said he’d bring it but didn’t just went to a table 2 away from ours to take their order. So my friend got up & asked a different server for the sugar to be brought. By this time we’ve been in the restaurant over 30 mins with no food however it was quite busy so we were ok to wait. That was until I saw the table that ordered when we wanted sugar had had their food delivered so I asked our server if perhaps we’d been forgotten. No apology he just went off to check. When he came back he said to be careful of the plates because they were hot. Well!! My goodness I expected my skillet to be hot but not the wooden handle & wooden serving board which was so red hot as to be unbearable. It was impossible to hold the wooden handle to get the food off the skewer as it was so hot. Clearly our food had been languishing on the pass for some time waiting for our lacklustre server to remember to go & get it. The food however was good. We weren’t able to get the servers attention to bring us more water. I wanted to treat my friend so when she went to the ladies I immediately rose & asked the server for the check. He did at least bring that fairly quickly but I then discovered that I wasn’t allowed to pay cash. A fact that really irritates me so I paid on my card. It was only on inspecting the bill later that I realised the server had charged us £4.90 for hash browns that we specifically said we didn’t want. I wish I had asked them to remove the service charge because frankly it was terrible & let the whole restaurant down. He seemed disengaged, bored & under trained for the role. The two stars go to the chef for the food because the server didn’t deserve anything!

Beautiful setting, feels fancy, but one look at the menu and you realize is a posh kebab place. As most in England, alochol is of no lack in here. Happy hours exist. Couple of vegan and vegetarian options. Service was attentive but food was too slow for a platter consisting of hummus couple of deep fried thingies pickles and few more. Prices are affordable. I like it.

Great atmosphere food and most importantly service. Mana in Kingston was very kind and attentive which made the whole experience great!

Dropped in on shopping trip. Waited to be seated but was pretty much ignored by the staff. Plenty of room to sit down but ended up waiting for ten minutes + at an empty restaurant. Ignored for so long we started laughing. Kids were doing a little dance to attract attention. We gave up, left and went to spend £150 on a group lunch somewhere else.

It is a shame I did not take any single picture. We have a company lunch here. Our host is Harshita. I want to give a shout out for amazing service and attention to detail. Everything is seamless. thank you.

Luke warm reception, but our waiter was very friendly. Too much up selling after we'd each ordered - no wonder! One of our group added a couple of sausages - £3.90 for EACH sausage when the bill came; the waiter didn't say how much they would cost. The food service was quite slow, the toast was slightly burnt and poached eggs mainly too hard. Eggs Benedict Royale was very good, as was the tea. Very attractive surroundings but wouldn't return due to price and quality.

Loved the atmosphere and the service was great bar one staff who made it seem like I was the one being unreasonable for asking why what I was served did not resemble what I had ordered.

An impromptu lunch. We popped in 7 days before Christmas Day, and it was very busy. Originally placed in the centre of the restaurant, but it was so noisy and cramped. The staff were able to relocate us to a window table. Not so noisy. My friend chose Megan's brunch. A lot of food too much for me. I chose a Doner kebab, described as posh. Both meals took a bit of time but the place was very busy. His brunch was excellent. My kebab was extremely good. Very soft lamb and a lovely dressing. A long way away from a takeaway kebab. Very, very pleasant. We have already decided to return but hopefully be a quieter next time!

Had the Christmas turkey flatbread but not great. The turkey was dry and very thinly grated on top. Would have preferred shredded pieces of turkey and it just looked a mess on the plate. The sauce pots should’ve been placed on the side of the plate rather than stuck on top of the food itself… Staff were friendly and attentive.

Having previously found Megan's on a wet day before Christmas, I knew we could get excellent coffee in a relaxed atmosphere!!

I came here for a Christmas dinner and it was not worth the money, firstly as a table of six we got one small plate of chicken, one pig in blanket, one scoop of cheese etc. Not a lot for the price. The main meal was mostly veggie mushrooms, grains or some rocket salad in the middle of the large sharing board not a lot of meat and some people complained that the veg options just had way too much seasoning on! For the price I WOULD not recommend nor would I be returning. Frankly was really disappointed. Not value for money.

They’ve made the portion sizes much smaller than they were last year. It almost felt like I ordered off the kids menu. Food was cold also - cold tomatoes and eggs. I ordered the veggie breakfast and got a tablespoon of avocado, a teaspoon of beans, 3 cherry tomatoes, 2 small bits of halloumi, and two small eggs with a tiny piece of toast. Definitely shrinkflation, so expensive for what I received. And juice for £5. Service was good and attentive but had to go up to pay. Also salt mill on the table had run out of salt.

Dropped in for a coffee and porridge breakfast.. LJ was serving...timely courteous, and efficient.. great cappuccino and porridge with tahini, compote, seeds and syrup.. 😋

DISAPPOINTMENT, NOT RECOMMENDED! SPEND YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE! This review comes after a second sitting. The first time I dined there it was a minor disappointment due to long food wait times, portion sizes that weren't filling, and a general lack of value for money just barely scraping by due to a very good cheerful and attentive server and a very good cookie dessert. That first time was during Saturday lunch time and was for two adults and two children. A bad online review wasn't warranted at that time but I would have never privately recommended Megan's to friends. This time around it was for two adults, three children, and we were there to celebrate my son's birthday over dinner. As mentioned, we would never have gone back but our son specifically wanted to have the cookie dessert for his birthday. Well, the restaurant was notified of the birthday when the reservation was done, weeks in advance, and did nothing to acknowledge it on the day. The restaurant was practically empty, yet our mains took forever. Critically we were not told when we were seated what was no longer available on the menu, which caused an issue when my son asked for the cookie dessert. There are some basics in food service like acknowledging patrons when they enter and seating them quickly, offering water and drinks, checking for allergies, telling people what's the special (if you have one), checking in on a table from time to time and telling people what is no longer on the menu when passing the menu to seated patrons. If we had known that Megan's was out of the cookie dessert, we wouldn't have bothered sitting through their mediocre, and ultimately expensive food. What a disappointing failure it was to see my son choke back his upset while a tear silently rolled down his cheek on his birthday, only to then pay for it when the cheque arrived! Megan's is a pathetic poor showing of a restaurant when compared to the other dining establishments around Kingston. Do not dine here. Save your wallet and taste buds for more deserving restaurants!

We booked a Saturday lunch for 20 guests and the manager Shenazzer and his team did an excellent job to accommodate us. With Shenazzer all communication ahead of and on the day was polite, courteous and hospitable. The ability to handle a large party seemed effortless. Food orders were given in advance, allergies were noted, lunch was served in a timely manner and the service was friendly and attentive. Thank you very much!

Our server (sorry I don’t recall correct spelling, Kara? ) was very friendly and efficient, sharing her tips on dishes. Despite being busy on a Saturday, the staff worked very hard and kept things moving. Menu is varied enough to have options for everyone, even those with dietary restrictions. Only knock on the experience was that it seems the portions are getting smaller vs dishes I’ve had in years past.

Buzzing authentic Mediterranean restaurant in the heart of Kingston. We had a short wait on a busy Saturday but seated in no time. Restaurant is deceptively large with an upstairs too. Friendly staff and great tasting food. We had lamb doner, meze and the breakfast. Everyone was very happy with their choices. Great option for the family.

Definitely my favourite place in Kingston! I had the amazing hot chocolate with the GIANT marshmallow. Love the atmosphere and the vibe, Huda is also a very good reason to visit this place, her recommendations never disappoint!
