Costa Coffee in Kingston upon Thames

The butter crossant was good. Raspberry Bubble Frappe was great. Staff is less so service is slow during peak hours and evenings.

I highly recommend Costa at 2nd floor Bentall in Kingston. I visit bi-weekly, and Veta, the manager and their team Olena Anju Andri Ela , always greets me with a big smile, making me feel very warm and welcome. My visits here always brighten my day, thanks to the wonderful team.

Extremely slow service, they forgot I ordered a tea infusion and gave it to me extremely boiling with no cup sleeve

Amazing customer service from Ahmed. Very polite and welcoming. Also very patient and quick at service. He brought the drinks to our table which we appreciate as we were a big family.

Food was fantastic and drinks were hot and tasty but the staff were bit unwelcoming and not very patient

(This is the lower ground floor costa) Really need more staff… tables are all full of trays and dirty cups, only one person behind the counter taking orders and making drinks so the queue moves at a snail’s pace

There are 2 in the Bentalls Center in Kingston, one in the basement, 1 on the second floor. Both are good, classical Costa vibe. I usually prefer the 2nd floor one with ample outdoor seating especially during the summers with all the crowded vibe. Costa’s bakery variety is never dying & my die for choice & the mouth watering tastes!! All my family is signed up for Costa but on the other note I find it a bit expensive comparatively. But I’d always come over for some quality time & quality food. Costa has my heart!!

Definitely open. Cafe Latte is good. Bacon bap was ok for prepackaged food. It is important to variety your selection when ordering. Language, accents and understandings can result in a coffee frappe as opposed to a caramel coffee. Not detrimental in this case. The lady did offer to redo it.

Its no possible I pay my sandwich after 5 minutes I ask for sandwiches it’s ready They completely forgot They are no busy They ignore the customer

The guy behind the counter in the upstairs shop was so lovely and helpful, really understanding with a mistake I made when ordering !!

Popped in here so my wife could eat as she is diabetic.On way to afternoon funeral at Kingston Crematorium. See post regarding the Bentell .centre. Fridge not working so bottles of water warm!Yuk! Also toilets out of order so had to use centre toilets. Clean and tidy.Not a good visit!

A costa with plenty of space and service with a smile. Does get busy at weekends so avoid peak times if you want a seat

It is a great branch of Costa. There are other branches of Costa in Kingston too but, for the taste of coffee, I think this is probably the best one and they might want to consider sending their baristas to other branches for training purposes so that other branches can catch up :) It is usually a cosy place too but occasionally they seem to turn on the air-conditioning a little too much given that the temperature outside is already low enough. The staff members are all kind and friendly. There are plenty of seats both inside and outside. It is also quite fun to spend time in the seat outside as you can enjoy the view of the whole Bentall. A flat white and a large latte are my personal favourite. If you want a generous amount of coffee/caffein, nothing beats a Costa large (latte/cappuccino) and a picture has been attached for this 😎 That said, I am currently not a great fan of decaf coffee at Costa as the taste does not seem to match that of the normal/caf coffee. I hope they improve on their decaf soon which will make it even better!

Standard Costa affair, if a little busier and thus longer to serve. It's totally serviceable, but I'd rather go to some local independent coffeeshops.

Excellent service, Fabia and her colleague, Amazing in their profession. Can’t believe in such a rush hour they keep themselves with such high standards of professionalism and smile! Fabia went extra mile and draw smiles on my kids hot chocolate lid, which was amazing. ThankYou!!

My child was crying I just wanted a bottle of water for my child, I asked Sofia ( one of the staff she said shop is close because it was only 1 minute past 7 o'clock! But they were serving customers!!!

Today I went to costa coffee and this lovely boy served by Theep he made me coffee which was so tasty. He did this in a big rush. Thank you very much

Took very long to serve, only 2 workers though obviously not their fault. Also they had no cups so only served in takeaway cups even if wanted to sit in.

Lovely worker called Fabio that put a smile on my face today, such a lovely man with a pure personality. He gave me 2 little chocolates as well with my yummy hot chocolate. I hope he gets the acknowledgment:)

Stopped for a coffee and cake after a morning of Xmas shopping. What a nice surprise Fabio was super attentive even with the crazy lunch time rush, and served every customer with a smile. Thank you!

There was this really nice man that was working here last Thursday and he was amazing at his job. He had a smile on his face for every customer he served. He definitely made mine and my friend’s day. :))

Lovely site, was there with a friend who was quite unwell, but completely taken care of by employee Hannah, very warm and accommodating. Will be returning for her lovely service!

Heating on full blast. No toilets. Queue back to the door. Stood at the till 5 minutes before anyone spoke to us. 2pm and they hadn’t put their cash float in their till (for another person).

Nicely tucked away so it's not busy early on. Great way to kick start your shopping trip with an expresso hit in relative calm!

Always seems very busy but staff always remain patient and polite. The Barista taking payment was particularly cheerful and efficient despite being very busy. The food and drinks were faultless.

I am a big Costa fan but this visit was very disappointing. For eat in, only paper cups available. The toasted sandwiches were bland and insipid, couldn't tell what you were eating. Come on Costa, raise those standards to where they once were.

Good place for a coffee and some dessert

Went this morning but it was not open. The website (and times in the window) state that it opens at 8:00, but I waited until 9:00 and it did not open. I went to Waterstones cafe instead. They need to update their opening times on the Website and shop window to correspond to when they are actually open as other customers turned up expecting them to be open.

Clean place friendly service nice products.

It is nice enough cafe, clean, quiet and pleasant to sit in. unfortunately the problem is it does not open on time. If you are excepting early morning coffee, the likelihood is, it will be closed. You may have to wait until 8:30 or 9:00 A.M. People are regularly standing outside wondering why it has not opened.

Queues out the door, and slow service ... Not overly, but there was no sense of urgency. Table wasn't cleaned before use, either.

It’s a nice small Costa coffee shop, with amazing fresh cakes, the staff are nice and welcoming. The place is abit tight, and always busy, so you have to wait several minutes in queue before you get served, but definitely worth it 👌

Very very bad experience. The barista made me the wrong drink and refused to make it right. After I repeated my order 3 times he made the wrong drink and then he claimed that he misunderstood because I was wearing a mask. How is it possible not to offer me the drink I asked??? I asked to make it right and he completely ignored me. We all make mistakes but not.offering me to change the drink with the one I wanted is completely unacceptable!!!

Awful. Four of us had coffee before starting a Sunday morning walk along the Thames Path. The tables and chairs were shoved so close together that you couldn’t sit down properly, the tables were all filthy and hadn’t been cleared of the last customers detritus. The chairs were all filthy, there was no toilet and the coffees were mediocre at best.

really lovely service from the ladies at costa! I love chilling here before my own work starts and its the perfect atmosphere to relax before a busy day! Also tried the irish velvet Cappuccino today and let me tell you, thats a new favourite drink ;)

Two staff members were unbelievably rude. As our 11yr old forgot to ask them not to add cream to her hot chocolate we apologetically asked them to just remove it. This was a BIG issue for them as they were really busy. Despite my apologies they were irritated and rude and told us atleast three times that we should have asked when ordering. Clearly they dont have kids and they never made a mistake in their lives. Never going there again. They need lessons on customer service. Never had this experience at Costa before. Disappointing!!!!

I've been here with my children and had 4 drinks and 2 toasties with meal deal foods. I asked for a serviette 2 times. But they gave only 2 each time. Are the napkins expensive? Is that why they give only two for the customer?

Used to be great - now has long queues, dirty tables and tepid coffee. I don't know what's gone wrong but I won't be back.

Very rude staff. Won the game to get a free drink, then they said can't have it. A letter of complaint will be made.

Really nice staff in there actually. Very polite and helpful considering I am on a crutch right now. It's nice to see someone actually go out of their way to help someone, one guy in particular went above and beyond to help me.

W tym centrum są 2 costy ta akurat jest na piętrze i jest o wiele lepsze od swojej siostry i to nie tylko pod względem atmosfery jaka tam panuje ale także mają tam o wiele lepszych pracowników - nastawienie do klienta jest tam znacznie lepsze ! O dobrych manierach nie wspomnę :) Co sprawia że to miejsce zyskuje tym samym na atrakcyjności ;)
