This italian restaurant is close to the king's cross station, it is a perfect location. I will recommend the dish called "penne con carne & funghi", It is very delicious. The service is very good and the environment is nice. The tiramisu here is perfect for me. Definitely will visit again!

We found this restaurant as it was close to where we were staying. The food was very tasty, portioned well and reasonably priced. The staff were friendly and very welcoming. Would recommend a meal at this restaurant.

There are many different dishes, you can put together the pizza with your favourite components, I had the calzone and it was very good. I also had fries (which were good but could have done without) and a salad. The only annoying thing is that the starter, like the salad or the fries, is delivered with the main course. Instead of a few minutes before.

Went here because of the good reviews, was very shocked. King prawns like rubber and can tell were frozen, chicken and cream with mushrooms had absolutely no taste at all. Honestly, wouldn’t recommend.

I'm a local resident and have never ever wanted to go to this place in 23 years I've lived locally, as I pretty much knew what to expect but unfortunately an elderly neighbour wanted to eat out and chose this place. I reluctantly went along. Needless to say I'll never go back. It was exactly as expected. Awful food, poor service. £70 bill was a total rip off. Hardly anyone in the venue at 7pm on a Friday night (which should tell you everything) and we waited an hour for a bit of chicken and horrifically overcooked salmon (we had no starter, no dessert). The salmon was so dry it was virtually inedible. The chips were the worst I've ever eaten. I didn't want to ruin my elderly neighbour's evening by complaining so I didn't say a word but what an embarrassment to call this place Italian! I'm Italian and this is simply disgusting. The server couldn't be bothered to tell me about the wine when I asked for additional details, the wine I originally chose they didn't have so had to settle for something else. The menu clearly hasn't been updated in decades. No updates given as to why we waited an hour for such simple food in a virtually empty restaurant. Just avoid.

A great find right near Kings Cross. Great service and the food was delicious and fairly priced. Lots of flavour in both the dishes. My only reason for four stars was because the Dua Lipa album playing in the background drove me mad. The world’s worst pop star taking up all the head space. Nice place though!

A beautiful and authentic Italian restaurant a stones throw from King's Cross station. Delicious food and friendly service in a clean, well designed interior. I had whitebait followed by a gnocchi main. Both very well prepared and presented. Highly recommended.

Het eten is van goede kwaliteit, maar vrij doorsnee. Het is er gezellig zitten met frisse tafels. En de wijn is erg goed. En ook de limoncello die je krijgt bij de rekening. Voor een avond met flinke regen een prima restaurant dichtbij het hotel. Pizza mag wel iets meer op.

Was really looking forward to a delicious Italian meal but unfortunately I was to be disappointed. The mushroom risotto was bland, the mushrooms were mushy and the portion small, which in this case was a blessing. My husband had a calzone and on arrival looked really good but he said it was watery and more tomato sauce than anything else. I hoped the desserts would be better but again I was disappointed, the tiramisu was nothing special and was “decorated” with a cheap chocolate sauce. The staff were off hand and not at all welcoming. Luckily the atmosphere was saved by the live music, they were really good.

Pasta is mediocre at best. We ordered pizza bread on the side, it was burned. The icecream was frozen solid and prepared in advance. Keep in mind the additional service fee and sales tax. It will add about 25% to your bill and it is not worth it.

Sono capitata casualmente ieri sera e devo dire che mi sono divertita tantissimo. C’era la musica live . Oltre all’atmosfera anche il cibo ed il servizio erano fantastici. Ci ritorno sicuramente al mio prossimo viaggio a Londra.

Well, the food isn’t tasty it was more like frozen,thanks god I been with 40% off because this is not worth money. The 4 guys who’s was there aren’t even Italian none of then, they are from eastern so how you will make a proper Italian dish if you even are not Italian 💁🏻‍♀️wtf I can give cero. Also horrible presentation giving a pan for the costumers, disappointing

The restaurant looks nice. Lovely ceramic decorated tables. Pizza was OK. Nothing special. I had a Margherita. As an Italian I had better, but maybe my standards are quite high when it comes to pizza! I will go back to try the rest of the menu.

Estivemos lá no sábado, 26/08/23. Não sabemos se a equipe do atendimento muda ou não. Eram aproximadamente 6:30pm. Já deveríamos ter observado que estava bastante vazio, uma grande indicação de que o restaurante deixa a desejar. O atendimento era ruim, a comida poderia ter uma quantidade maior (eu sou uma pessoa magra) mas o sabor era razoável apenas. Atravessamos a rua e compramos kebab deliciosos para completar nossa refeição após um dia intenso de turismo, numa pequena lanchonete e com atendimento nota 10.

Had a brilliant evening, food was fabulous, I had pasta and it was so much better than the normal British take on Italian. The sauce was so satisfying, different flavors making a cohesive whole. Like a really great cocktail where you can taste individual flavors without it detracting from the overall taste. Very reasonable prices.The staff were so lovely, friendly, efficient and a good laugh. Really felt like a valued customer. I look forward to going back.

Visited whilst staying nearby on a multi day trip to London. Relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Calzone was huge and Risotto much like any of the pasta dishes comes served in the pan which was a nice touch which kept the food hot. Tiramisu portion for the price however did not meet expectation compared to other Italian restaurants we visited but the only complaint of what was otherwise a nice late evening dinner.

Another great dining experience. Already our 5th time dining here and always a super experience. When we come back to London we will definitely visit again. Top team!

Came on a Monday night with husband and family. Food was lovely really hot, tasty all came out together and was presented lovely. Staff could not of been anymore attentive they were happy, polite and always willing to tend to your every need thank you. They had 2 guys playing a guitar and singing and the atmosphere was amazing wasn’t to loud and they interacted with the customers was a really good night we even ended up getting up and having a little dance 💃🏻 in fact we enjoyed it that much we came back the nxt night for another meal,again great service ,great food , couldn’t fault will definitely be returning for another meal in the future. I had the most amazing time here the atmosphere in this restaurant is amazing! The food was fabulous too. The live music was incredible and the staff were so friendly and upbeat! This was the first place we came to after travelling down from Scotland. We spent the whole time we were in london talking about how much we enjoyed our time here. I’ll definitely be coming again.

An attractive restaurant (because of the lovely ceramic tables) that caught my eye from the outside, so I went in. Had an orzo/avocado main and the limoncello dessert. Gorgeous! Italian music was playing to create the right ambience. Part of the restaurant is open, so lovely in the Summer.

We had a great experience last time we visited 3 years ago. This time not so much. The pasta was very good, however, it's very awkward for us to eat pasta out of a very hot large frying pan. Terrible idea. The live music was very loud and the singer was out of tune most of the songs. And this put us off staying longer for desert or coffee.

We came here as we were staying at a nearby hotel. We easily got a seat as the restaurant was not busy. It was £7.95 for a pint of peroni which I found expensive. We hot the two types of bruschetta to start with which was nice but the toast slightly burnt. The Bolognese pasta was nice and the portion size was good. It was served in a pan which was unique. A service charge was already added to the bill which I found a bit cheeky so no additional tip was left

Food was shocking, the ravioli may as well have been bought from Tesco value range... No way was this fresh made. ... Sauce was a tin o chopped tomatoes. Canneloni was very poor, probably frozen ... I know they will reply to this review saying that everything is cooked fresh but they are lying. .. Staff pleasant enough but food very very poor.

We popped in for a quick bite to eat on the way through to Kings Cross. Food was interestingly served in a pan which was a nice touch. We both had the bolognaise which looked amazing and fresh, however for me it lacked flavour and depth and the pasta could have been a bit softer. Beer was standard Moretti which is nice enough but £3.50 for a liptons peach iced tea is a little bit of a joke. They could easily supply decent iced tea. The vibe of the restaurant was nice with some authentic Italian music in the background. Toilets weren't that great though.

Great, buzzing atmosphere, and can instantly tell it’s family run. As soon as I stepped in I felt like I was on holiday in Italy! The food was all great, especially the seafood spaghetti. Make sure you try the tiramisu espresso martini!

Très bon accueil. J’ai pris un calzone : Bonne pâte mais à l’intérieur pas grand chose et insipide ( champignons bouillis, quasiment pas de sauce tomate…). Mon mari a choisi les pâtes maison : c’est servi dans une poêle ( pourquoi pas) mais hormis les pâtes et du fromage il n’y a pas grand chose, et c’est très gras… pour14,5 livres 😭

What a great little gem! We’re local to this restaurant and after being recommended we decided to give it a go. My boys are very fussy eaters, but we couldn’t fault them. My 7 years old finished an adult’s portion of cannelloni and said it was sooo yummy! My husband is an Italian chef and said that the pasta was cooked to perfection: just the way they do it in Italy! I find it really hard to cook pasta for a fussy Italian chef! Food presentation is great and service is also fab! I would travel miles to eat proper food, but luckily I’m just around the corner. Great establishment, extremely accommodating. Down for the first time in my living memory seeing Newcastle play in a cup final, they let a lot of Geordie fans in as safe as possible. The pints were cold and the food was lovely. Great little hidden gem made better by the lovely people who work here.

Het ontvangst was niet heel vriendelijk. De mannelijke ober sprak amper een woord. Geen aandacht voor de gast en geen gastvrijheid. De pasta was niet zelf gemaakt. De saus was vlak van smaak en ook de smaak van het vlees had geen karakter. Ik zou dit restaurant niet aanraden, komt over als een tourist trap.

Mi sono imbattuto per caso in questo locale e devo dire che mi è piaciuto sia la location sia il personale. Anche l'arredamento è molto carino. Il personale è molto gentile e disponibile. I piatti che abbiamo assaggiato ci sono piaciuti. Mi sento di dire che vale la pena farci visita.

Staff was very friendly but the food and menu needs major improvement. I ordered some cannelloni that were very obviously taken from the freezer 10 mins before and heated up, I’m not sure what they were filled with but it was something green. I felt indigestion for the next 4 hours. The only Italian thing about this restaurant is the name of the dishes

If I could give a zero would be better! I book with ‘the fork’ app and we were suppose to have 30%off but they gave us some random discount and after I complain I didn’t want to pay for the service change. The lady she said ‘you MUST pay the service charge I will not take it off’ and that’s illegal because it’s my choice to pay or not the tip to the service. The food was awful and was everything frozen, nothing fresh. Was not even taste good. At the end she start this long conversation and she literally ruin my entire experience there. I will never go back there!!!!

Another three minutes would have been perfect. left over half and they didn’t ask me why. So i told them did offer to discount me but i’d already paid so didn’t want a fuss. I’m partially to blame as i didn’t complain as i’m sure they would have rectified it. But reasonably full so couldn’t be bothered. But did expect them not to know how to cook a pizza!!!

Ein tolles Lokal - die Küche bietet perfekte italienische Gerichte! Es ist ein echter Steinofen vorhanden (offene Küche)! Der Service ist Top sehr freundlich und Ambiente ist stimmig. Die Getränke sind Top (der Prosecco ist Mega)!💯% Lage ist gut bei gutem Wetter kann man auch draußen sitzen. Das Lokal ist sehr empfehlenswert!

Staying in King's Cross, and although there's loads of local restaurants, absolutely nothing ticked our boxes. Most looked impersonal and tacky and the rest had someone trying to persuade us to eat there. We had resorted to buying takeaway and returning to our hotel room....

Went here with a family of 4 with a 6 and a 9 yo. Average experience. Had a nice discount via The Fork. Pizzas were tasteful. Calzone was burnt black at the bottom, could eat around it. Adult ravioli wasn't big enough for the 9yo, so it will leave an adult hungry. Luckily her sister didn't finish her pizza. Despite having a kids menu on their website it wasn't available when asked. Not overly friendly staff. Had higher expectations based on reviews here.

This is a lovely restaurant with a great family run vibe, being spacious and clean as well as traditional in feel. The open kitchen is great to sit by and all the staff are friendly and welcoming. There’s a decent sized food menu with the prices not being too unreasonable for the location. Drink options are again varied and when ordering a bottle or Prosecco it was a nice touch for a cool bag to be brought, as there’s no ice buckets here. Service time for the food was decent and it was unique for the risotto to be brought in the pan itself, highlighting the freshness and acting as something a little different to normal. The size of the portion was alright but unlikely to fill on its own, and while nice the flavours weren’t anything to blow away. Fortunately the setting was the redeeming feature. We didn’t order deserts because it was a shame for the menu to be a selection of the preprepared items which weren’t authentic or appealing at all - think the penguin ice cream toys you used to see in curry houses years ago. This was such a shame and took the edge of what could have been a nice experience. I’d happily return for a casual meal but it’s not somewhere for a special occasion unfortunately, despite having potential on first arrival.
