Organica Pizza in Islington

I was walking around blackstock road with some friend on a sunny Sunday and just about Gillespie road we heard some music coming from the corner. We walked to check what was it and we found this little pizza place that reminder me soo much of Italy and holiday back home. So we sit and order a pizza. They guys working there were funny and well mannered, and let's not talk about the pizza! Amazing napolitan style pizza with thick fluffy and crunchy crust all around, real for di latte mozzarella.. Just One of the best pizza I had in London full stop. In a nice area as well.. few min away from clissold park and arsenal stadium.. Wil definitely come back with other friend to this little pizza gem. Thanks guys!

I appreciate that the GF base was made by hand and I also that I didn't have to pay much for it. They have vegan cheese which make the pizza even better. The vegetables toppings were ok, maybe a bit big and difficult to eat. It took us one hour and a half to receive the pizza at home, we knew we would have to wait long. Anyway, I think I will order here again.

I ordered pizza via their website on 3 Aug, payment taken 4 Aug, pizza arrived 5 Aug. When i asked for a refund the manager told me it wasn't her fault and that i should contact yoyo. When i asked for restaurant's yoyo ref and contact number she said she was too busy and i should look it up. Not great service.

We went there yesterday evening, they have very good pizza, the manager its a very nice Italian girl, very good chefs as well... I order a calzone with ham and mushrooms, was very hot and nice, I suggest you to order estate' as well its a very good Italian iced tea, they have peach and lemon flavour ... I also order a tipical sardinian dessert calls seadas, it was very good. Seadas its a small "pie" filled with cheese, they also put honey on top of it, was very very good I suggest you to order it and you will love it(I don't usually like warm desserts but this one was worth it) ... They mostly do take away and delivery orders... I will surely come back... Thank you guys.

Non e' una pizza italiana ma e' una buona pizza, soprattutto se non c'e' altro in giro di aperto e siete troppo stanchi per tornare al centro. Mozzarella o formaggio: bene. Sugo: bene (forse c'era un pizzico d'aglio, ma e' un peccato veniale). Ordinate margherita e andate sul sicuro. Buono l'impasto, ottimo il forno a legna

My pizza was good, and delivered early which was great. However, in the delivery the entire cheese, sauce and toppings slid off into a blob and I had to put the pizza back together - so it wasn't the tastiest thing. I'll give them another try as I think this was just a transport issue though.

The vegan pizzas are the best,moreish,tasty and well presented.I don't like avocado but on this Pizza it blended in nicely.The sweet cherry tomatoes were in abundance.the vegan cheese is subtle but powerful.i made the base wholemeal which was really good.delivery was on time. I think to pick restaurants in a 1 mile is okay and give extra details to find your address. I add inside and which road is more easy to use can help e.g.if you live in a heavily estate area.

Hard avocados, dry olives, just some kebab chicken meat on salad, no sauce or dressing... Overpriced I'd say, salad at least.

An absolute joke. Twice delivered upside down pizzas, ruined our evening. Thankful to Justeat for getting us a refund as the restaurant probably wouldn't have done so.

Delivery was fast but pizza was bland, tasteless, soggy and cold. What a disappointment. Definitely not worth the money.

As I was putting my son to bed, I booked the pizza for a specific time. In stead it arrive way to early and I ended up with cold pizza. Timing is important.

The arancini is just one for that price I thought was a joke. But it wasn't as bad as the parmigiana the sauce is made with hurling and some herbs far away from the flavour of the real parmigiana. I'm not happy for what I payed at all.

Fantastic as always, this is our most used takeaway as the gluten free pizzas are fantastic and the service is always lovely. I particularly recommend the fungi pizza and rocket salad

One positive, pizza arrived in 20 mins, the pizza itself was swimming in oil, the Nduja was cremated and the cheese really didn't seem like the high quality mozzarella advertised. First and last order, stick to yard sale or pizza bakers!!

Pizza arrived earlier than expected but in the margherita the cheese was definitely not mozzarella or at least not only. I would expect something more from an 'organic' pizza!

I'm afraid when our pizza arrived 20mins late, there was only one pizza instead of two. And the gluten-free base was quite unpleasant and a bit burnt although the toppings were generous and fresh. I had to call and tell them to bring the other pizza and when that arrived it was a similar story - lovely toppings but crust was burned.

We waited 1.5 hours for our order (40 minutes later than scheduled). When the pizza arrived he said that he took the wrong order from the shop, hence it took so long. When we opened the box, we received a pizza we didn't order. Not our best experience but the pizza was OK.

Personally didn't like the food at all. Luckily my flat mates were drunk and didn't bother when I saved the food for them. (Sorry guys!)

Delicious pizza and excellent customer service. When we noticed the wrong item was ordered (our mistake) we called and they were happy to make us another pizza at no extra cost. Delivery was quick, very polite. Highly recommended.

I order it with no cheese and it came with cheese. It was so wet i could not eat it. Horrible experience.

I love this place, they do some really delicious and unusual pizzas. Particularly good veggie ones which makes a change. If we have friends round and want to get take away pizza this is the place we would always use.

We ordered the pasta bake and a pizza and both were delicious. I'm vegan so asked for no cheese on the pizza and side salad and this request was taken into account. There was a bit of a delay with the delivery but this is to be expected when you order at the end of day when everyone else is ordering. We were very happy with our meal and would definitely order again.

It was not baked properly and I couldn't lift it up as it was so wet, I had to eat it with a spoon. :S

My god disgusting, order a simple gluten free pizza,was soggy ,no flavors at all , the mozzarella was so chewy and dry , the bin had it ! wasn't even slice cut , worried about contamination? Get another pizza cutter ! Then I got some garlic bread ..is not bread but a focaccia, eaten few slices (this one was cut) and bin it as salty and uneven . Would love to go around there and show them how to make a tasty sauce ! Until then I'm not ordering again sorry .

We ordered the beetroot and goat cheese salad, their award winning pollo pizza with extra toppings of organic roasted chicken, a piece of red velvet cake, a piece of chocolate and almond cake, as well as a bottle of white wine... it was all really lovely and made for the perfect midweek meal... so enjoyed! I would highly recommend it!

Average, very open priced food. When it was half an hour late I started trying to call, but for 15 mins straight they were engaged. Eventually I got a call from them on my mobile, saying they'd been waiting at the wrong door for half an hour. It finally arrived, cold, delivery driver didn't say a word, not even an apology for his incompetence!

Forgot the rocket salad also we requested this be delivered at 8:30 it arrived at about 7:41 Foods good though

Just eat offer a type of pizza organica don't even sell. Took them almost an hour to get in touch to resolve. When pizza arrived looked like the driver had had fun on the way over, toppings all over the place and smashed up. Tasty though.

Spent the weekend in Camden Town and got there late Friday so fished around the net for a take-away delivery service nearby. Saw these guys and decided to give it go as the menu sounded nice. We opted for the Fantasia - caramelised onions, mozzarella, sundried tomatoes and sesame seeds (I think) - in 16" with a Greek salad. We all said at once that this was the best pizzeria we've had! Superb quality and very taste combo ingredients. We thought to open the salad box halfway through and was blown away by its vibrant colours and size. It was huge! It was more a Mediterranean salad with feta cheese which just made it even more enjoyable. AND ORGANIC!! Highly recommended. Well done guys

This is definitely one of the best pizza you can eat in London! The dough is light and tasteful and all the toppings are fresh cooked and abundant. Also Lasagna, organic chicken and salads are very good! It's a little expensive but the quality of the food worth every penny!!! I got my pizza in time and very quickly so I will order again for sure!

I live a minute away from Organica and have usually ordered the Pollo pizza (Tomato, mozzarella, organic oven roasted chicken, pancetta, homemade caramelized red onions & roasted peppers). I much prefer this pizza to the greasy offerings of Domino's or Papa John's. The quality of the ingredients and, most importantly, the taste have never disappointed. The only thing to complain about is that they're sometimes a victim of their own success, with a 90% success rate of getting my order accepted!

I don't normally comment on food quality but the veg lasagne was horrid. Like left overs scraped into a Tin take away box. All went in the bin :(

Asking North Londoners for their favorite pizza place is like asking them for their favourite team. Nearly everyone has an opinion and they are hardcore about what they like and where they go to get it. I hadn't eaten a Pizza Hut in around a decade, since I worked in one during the school holidays. I remembered frozen discs of dough which we sprayed with a canister of "developer" so that they rose like boils in the pans. And it is because of this memory why I choose Organica. It helps that my sister is addicted to the breadcrumb chicken strips. But more importantly it is made fresh, with a subtle combination of flavours that compliment the thinness of crust and have made me step outside my 'usual' and have faith that whatever I choose from the menu will satisfy me. (However I can't shake my soft spot for the Pollo with a beetroot and goats cheese salad - me be be the walnuts)

I don't understand the negative reviews at all. I don't order from here much, but when I do I always find the pizza to be great. Thin, crispy base and good quality ingredients, and I love that's it's organic. They have a variety of interesting choices or you can build your own. Yes, it's a bit expensive, but (in my view) totally worth it!

Absolutely loved this pizzeria, but have now decided to not use them again. Not only did I receive a BURNED pizza but I waited for over 45mins for a deliver. This is unacceptable when you pay £17 for a pizza!

The salad had obviously been premade a little too long ago, it was a bit soggy, the leaves were wilting and the avocado was going brown. The veggie arancini was disgusting, tasted old and musky with spinach that had gone grey with overcooking and the 4 cheese pizza tasted more heavily of cream due to the huge amounts of bland ricotta, rather than anything else, whilst the base was quite chewy. Would definitely avoid next time. Not the fresh pizza take away we were hoping for.

First of all , when we arrived , we said hello 3 times , was no answer like throwing rocks to the wall. We asked for dairy free pica , they dont do it , its understandable, so we brought our own cheese. We wait for 30 minutes , at the end picas was really small , and even though brought our own lacto free cheese ,they charged extra 1.15 £ each pica for gluten free dough. We spent 26.50 for two small picas which wasnt tasty and undercooked.

This is my favourite takeaway pizza ever - seriously delicious. Never getting takeaway pizza from anywhere else in London if I can help it. Delivery time was also as specified. Amazing!

Gluten free more expensive, unfair, and it isn't that tasty. They take advantage of the people who can't eat gluten.

Ordered a 12" pizza and a calzone. Delivery was super fast but the pizza based was soggy/chewy as was the calzone crust, and the calzone had so many chillis in it that it was in-edible. The pizza looked very pretty though.Wouldn't recommend. Go to Chiccos in camden instead. Amazing pizza for half the price.
