Great coffee. Which is the whole point. Chilled out in a relaxing environment. Nice place to sit and read a book. Friendly staff. Keep Supporting independents.

Mec Coffee has a sleek, minimalist aesthetic both on the outside and the inside. The coffee they make follows this philosophy - it's understated and reserved. It's only once you start drinking that you realise Mec are blowing the Cardiff coffee scene out of the water. They source a variety of traditional and more unusual tasting beans in order to provide a varied selection of coffee drinks that change throughout the year. A trendy chap called Tom served me the finest flat white I've had this side of the Equator. When sixth wave coffee hits, don't be surprised if it started in Mec.

We loved visiting Mec in its original location but have recently been to the new spot. The coffee was up to their usual high standards (excellent speciality coffee) and the guys were super friendly and chatty. We also brought a lovely and reasonably priced bottle of wine.

Le sucedió a Mec mientras deambulaba por la sala de juegos, ¡y qué descubrimiento! Café delicioso y servicio amable. ¡Observación adecuada de la etiqueta de distanciamiento social también!

Amazing coffee tucked away in the arcades. If you want decent coffee then this is the place to go. The guy who served us was lovely and talked us through what the options were and what we’d like!

For the freshest, tastiest place to eat in Cardiff, try Quay Street Kitchen, its a must! We always visit whilst travelling for work.

From the outside this little cafe didn't look like much, but I'm so glad I had brunch here. There is limited seating, but if you're lucky enough to get a seat you won't be disappointed. The coffee was very good, and the food even better. We had pancakes, bacon bagel, and salmon bagel. All lovingly prepared and tasted fantastic. The staff are really friendly as well

Was looking for an early morning breakfast so went to the address, Sully’s is no longer in business, has been replaced by a kebab place which wasn’t opening until later that morning.

Siempre visite aquí cuando esté en Cardiff. Teníamos welshcakes de avellana y choc blanco y vainilla, estaban deliciosos! ¡Espero con ansias conseguir algunos tradicionales hoy!
