Had the most delicious meal at Meat the Vegans, beautiful Caribbean ‘goat’ curry. Everything here is vegan. Love it!

We went there for my breakfast lunch, the food was great and the atmosphere really lovely. We sat outside and it wasn’t loud - the only thing is there isn’t a non smoking area so we needed to find a spot with no smoke. We had the papaya salad that was yummy and the goat curry which was spicy but yummy.

My wife and I shared the Caribbean goat curry and it was faaaaantastic! The best food we had the whole trip to London. The staff were very friendly and helpful - wonderful ambiance. 🫶

Really delicious vegan food. The Tofu Tikka Masala was absolutely outstanding. Lots of dishes are also gluten free or can be made gluten free. Lovely setting and very friendly staff. Highly recommend to vegans and non-vegans.

Delicious food with a great selection of different cuisines. Staff are super friendly, attentive and service was on point. Atmosphere is chill with a lovely decor and good beer on tap! Will go again to try the other dishes. Definitely recommend.

Food was okay. Definitely does not deserve the amazing reviews- many better vegan places in the area. Curry goat was quite bland and clearly microwaved, same with the rogan josh. Saw lots of microwaving going on in the kitchen and cook was using his fingers to pick up food from counter and put it in peoples tacos. It’s fine but unhygienic and not worth the money

Huge selection of mains and sides. Good dessert options. Plenty of shakes, soft / alcoholic drinks and cocktails available. Very friendly staff. Calm atmosphere.

The pad Thai was really really good, 100% recommended. Also the people working here were very friendly and nice.

Very yummy if you order the right thing! The vegan eight treasure fried rice was amazing!! I would recommend! The taco was really yummy aswell. However the vegan chicken 65 was disappointing, it wasn’t crispy deep fried which is what we were expecting, the vegan jerk chicken salad had barely any green beans or sweet potato and was sweet, not very nice. I would come back and have more of the lamb instead of the chicken! The staff are so lovely and friendly too! Really pleasant to sit outside !

Working away and spotted this place on my walk. Oh my gosh, the food was so good. Had the Eight Millionaire Rice. Honestly tasted like the most delicious meat dish ever. The staff were lovely and the puddings looked great.. But I was so full!

I’ve yet to actually go and eat at this place in person.. so I can only rate the food I’ve tried various dishes since discovering this plant based delight The Mac cheese and curried ‘goat’ are so tasty! I’ve had the pad Thai , and other dishes Really tasty, fresh and well presented Just wish the portions were a bit bigger It doesn’t stop me going back for more 🤗 If your a vegan visiting or living in Camden Meat the vegans is defo worth a visit

The atmosphere in Camden Market together with the good vegan food and the friendly service - an absolute must! We went there again on the last day of our vacation because we liked it there so much. This restaurant will be on the to-do list for your next vacation in London. :)

My partner is vegetarian (I'm not) so I'm always on the lookout for places where she has proper variety to choose from. We walked past and decided to give it a go. It smelled SO good as soon as we walked in. I got the lamb rogan josh and was very impressed. Lightly spicy, very tasty, and the lamb pieces had a great taste and texture. Came with a side of rice. On the menu it says the nachos are a "large portion" and photos uploaded in previous reviews reflect this, but what came out was a regular (if not slightly small) serving. It was still tasty and filling, and the sauces were great. It did feel like it needed some more "bits", though, and would've benefited from a bit of black bean mix, I think. Staff were friendly, and the experience was lovely. Very happy. Do be aware that a 12.5% service fee is automatically added to your bill.

Best meal I've had in London. I had Thai green vegetables and it was really tasty. It was fairly mild so even children could eat it.

Friendly, attentive staff. Food was pretty average, however. It also has no toilet for customers, so I had to pay £1 to use an unsightly public one. Not bad, but not somewhere I would return.

The selection is large, perhaps too large, so that all menus taste good. I don't eat meat and usually appreciate vegetarian/vegan restaurants, but this one is overrated. The dishes were a bit sweet (Pad Thai and Tofu Tikka Massala) and four dumplings for GBP 7.90 is overpriced. The two of us wanted to share a 5dl bottle of water and only got one glass, probably on purpose. Certainly OK for a quick stop for lunch, but not the 4.9 stars we expected.

Butter chicken tasted like desert. The waiter didn't give relevant info. Chicken 65 tasted like Soya chunks in some masala. Nothing special. Grossly overrated.

I dined here with my partner and absolutely loved it. My partner is vegan so they absolutely loved this place as its completely vegan. The meat replacements were pretty good which for non-vegans was nice. It was a nice atmosphere and staff were friendly. No toilet though within the restaurant so that's a minus. We also liked that ìt had a very diverse menu, pricing good and portions decent size! Overall good value for money!

I hate to leave a negative review for a fully vegan restaurant but they were dishonest and argumentative. Items not as described. Mac and cheeze on the menu says “baked to perfection” but what you actually get is poor quality boxed mac and cheeze. The nachos were topped with salsa and mayonnaise- there was no cheeze sauce. One of the servers said that the Mac and cheeze description was incorrectly printed on the menu and blamed her colleague for not telling us. The others argue that the nachos has cheeze sauce when they clearly didn’t. Also, you only get 4 wings although the picture shows way more. Overall, not the worst food but there are way better options for way less in the market.

This was one of the best vegan restaurants I have been to! We shared dishes as there were so many great options. My personal favourite was the vegan curried ‘goat’ - I could eat the every day! I love the decor and the staff were amazing.

Variety of cuisines available. The Pad Thai was my favourite and I will be go back especially for that. The fish and chips was surprisingly tasty and great to have, considering missing out on the real version due to my recently discovered sea food allergy. Everything tasted fresh and thoughtfully prepared, and the staff was super friendly!

What an unhygienic place and worst thing was, the unhygienic member of staff who was preparing the food. As we were waiting for our drinks to takeaway, we witnessed the guy cutting up the vegetables but eating some at the same time, he fully put his fingers in his mouth in doing so, and then continued to chop away whilst munching!! He also dropped a piece of food on the floor where he was standing, picked it up and it went in the food container with the rest of the chopped food and he put the lid on the container, obviously to be used later for cooking because he seemed to be replenishing the ingredients. The good thing about an open kitchen is, you get to witness such disgusting unhygienic practices taking place, so glad we only went in there for drinks!!

Delicious little vegan place in Camden Market with a huge vegan menu. It's on the same site as where Rudy's diner used to be, so big shoes to fill! I thought the vastness of the menu meant quality would vary but actually all of the food was really tasty! Service was v friendly. Definitely will be coming back!

Chicken(mock meat) tikka masala was good, although the gravy was not quite like the actual gravy of the tikka masala. Fries were also quite good. And it’s rude to put reserved sign on tables inorder to deny a table right infront of the customer where your employees are casually sitting.

This was a sensational meal, truly a fantastic vegan lamb rogan josh and chicken 65, decent prices, milkshakes, several cuisines on offer, and very friendly and professional service. Can’t believe it took me this long to hear of it, you gotta go!

We ordered the carribean goat curry— it was out of this world! The texture of the vegan meat was incredible, and the flavors were unbelievable, with the perfect level of spice. The menu is vast and I’m sure the rest of the food is equally delicious. We will most definitely return!

Would I recommend? ABSOLUTELY. If you are a vegan wanting to feel like the main event once rather than an afterthought it is definitely worth trying. I tried multiple dishes and they honestly hit all cuisines perfectly hence my 5/5 for food. Their new wings were a star player for me, being some of the most realistic fake chicken I’ve ever tried-everything down to the texture was uncanny. Their samosas were also perfectly crisp and warm with an amazing filling. We had 4 dishes to share and it came in at under £40 which I would say is incredible value for Camden. The service was nice and quick and the staff were friendly. The atmosphere was cute and did a good job at separating you from the hustle and bustle of the market right outside. The menu is 100% vegan and 100% on it, my did I feel like a kid in a candy shop spoiled for options. One thing to be aware of is there’s no toilet in the restaurant you have to go to the public loo down the row which is slightly inconvenient but it’s Camden what’d you expect ? All in all it was an enjoyable experience full of tasty flavours.

Popped here for lunch, I had a Lamb Rogan Josh and my partner had the Szechuan noodles. Not only the best vegan curry I’ve had in a while, but probably the best curry I’ve had ever.
