Wife gets me a couple of their pork pies when she is in the area and I can honestly say, they are the best I have tasted and I've had a few pork pies in my time.

Staff are lovely and friendly food is delicious the pies are gorgeous and the salt and pepper chicken chunk are beautiful

Just moved to the area and popped in for a morning sausage barm, one of the nicest I've ever had and excellent service, will be calling in again very soon

When in today and got some salt n pepper chicken nuggets they where delicious

I use this shop on a regular basis, the staff are very friendly and helpful, however I attended today a bought some salt & pepper chicken pieces. I can only assume they were cooked yesterday and re- warmed today. The chicken had a tough outer skin and was very dry. I will go to this shop again.

Excellent local business which my family and I have been buying from for over two decades. A good range of cooked meats, delicious roast ham shanks and ranger of spit-roasted chicken, along with delicious pies, pastries and a modest range of quality grocery items and Barton’s pickled products as enjoyed by Prince Charles. The staff are always friendly and attentive to customers, even on busy market days. They have a good knowledge of the products they sell. The shop is one of a dying breed of old-fashioned produce stores which retains its charm but inside it is bright and airy and is always immaculately clean too. I can wax lyrical about Meadow Barbecue all day but best you go there and find out for yourself. Don’t leave it too late in the day though: their fresh produce is always in demand and sells out before closing time. ENJOY!
